The staff work as a Team (no doubt) and it reflects from the initial "welcome" from Victoria, down to a really nice coffee offered, a great room service for my evening meal and a very comfortable room.

As Big "Arnie" (the Movie star) said ...... "I'll be back".

The hotel itself isn't that great. The facilities are old and tired, and looked a lot better on the website than they did in real life (the pool in particular). But it was clean, and the front desk staff were incredibly helpful. The location was nice being right across from the park, and the buffet breakfasts were a great deal. I would strongly recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in Brisbane on a budget. Especially if you’re staying in the summer months when the Moonlight Cinema is almost right across the road (which was wonderful to go to!)

Very pleasant hotel. Clean and stylish. The check-in was very efficient and friendly, the breakfast was plentiful (though the hot food was a little cool) and used dishes were cleared away promptly. A little disappointing that the bar closes at 9pm! I would stay here again though, and the rate we got for a package for 1 night with parking, breakfast and late check-out included, was very competitive.

My stay was short but very enjoyable and quite pleasant. I had to visit Brisbane for a medical reason which isn't always much fun, but the staff at the Park Hotel made me feel welcome and comfortable. The room was a nice size and very comfortable, and very quiet as well. The reception staff went out of their way to accommodate my needs, and the bar and wait staff were excellent. The food was very good and a credit to the chef. I would recommend the Park Hotel to anyone.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great value, central location, good buffet. If I ever have the desire to stay in Brisbane, this will be the place.

Great spot walking distance to the CBD via the wonderful Roma Street gardens. Nicely refurbished rooms and a good breakfast. Hope Rydges makes a go of their new acquisition. Parking is a bit of a ripoff at $18 a night seeing as it's not in the CBD. Otherwise good value.

Outstanding Customer Service all round especially from George and Helen!!
We had to find a hotel asap due to an water leak problem at home. With the very late notice and check in, George made our arrival very easy and helped us get the best out of our stay. We booked 3 nights to start off with and when we asked for an additional 2 nights it all seemed to easy to extend our stay. Thank you to all the staff - including the kitchen staff and house keepers. If you are looking for a place to stay with reasonable rates, clean rooms and 5 star service - check in with The Park Hotel Brisbane.

The bed was super comfortable, the staff were very friendly. parking onsite which was great. Close walk to city or roma street train station which made traveling around easy. Will highly recommend to anyone.

Old school hotel, good location at the back of Roma st parkland, but it will take a while walking to Roma st station.

Breakfast is quite good value fresh and a good choice. It was quite frustrating that there is no food or drinks available during the day, including room service. Resturant only available between 6pm and 9pm bar open until 10pm. Lovely weather would be nice to sit outside maybe by the pool and have a lunch or bar snack and a coffee or a drink. Staff are very friendly and reception cant do enough to help. Free bus just outside runs about every ten minutes or so Monday to Friday which goes to the city. Its about a fifteen minute walk through the park on the weekend.

I love it at the Watermark on Wickham - I stay here almost every fortnight, the staff are accommodating, the superior queen rooms all have balconies, walk-in showers that are half the total area of the bathroom, waterfall shower heads- perfect for two or more people, also the staff are very respectful of your privacy. Charges for accommodation and the bond are as low as you could hope for! Both thumbs up!!

The staff should take care with using Australian slang and idioms as this is an international hotel. I stopped here for coffee one morning and there was a Chinese couple having a late breakfast. The four and five star hotels in Asia seem to be very good at catering to western diets, but Australia doesn't do so as well as they do with Asian food. The hotel is in a nice location opposite Roma Parklands.

Very nice hotel, rooms are a little small but very nice. Great staff to help you with getting around the local area. Good breakfast, dinner, and bar in the hotel. Nice park across the street to walk around.

The rooms are decent. The location is a little out of the city. You can still get uber eats to your door so it has that going for it.

This place is facing the Brisbane's best park Roma street garden. Located on the city's highest point. Bit cheaper compared to city hotels.
Nearest food and cafe are within 500 mt. Good side is there is a free bus route 30 from City Monday to Friday from 7 to 7 pm. Downside is limited bus service on Saturday and no bus service in area on Sundays. So plan accordingly.
Not so easy to walk from City if are carrying heavy items.
Plus side. Clam and airy place. Good for people visit St Andrews hospital or Brisbane private hospital.
Free Wi-Fi for guest. Also free Wi-Fi by Brisbane city near by.

my wife and i stayed only one night, we both found the staff very friendly from the reception, breakfast room staff, and not forget the house maid, the room was very clean well quipped, when we next visit to Brisbane we will book into the Watermark hotel

The watermark hotel is a very modern hotel at an awesome location. It only takes a 10 minute walk to the city and you can hopp on a bus at almost every corner. The is a beautiful parkland right across the street and the trainstation right behind it, just in case you had to take the train from and to the airport (30 minutes). We checked in very late, but the reception was still open and they had very friendly employers. The rooms very clean and very comfortable. For breakfast they had a wide choice of cereals, bread and other delicious food. The only negative critic would be their internet, which was totally fine as soon as we got it on going. So every room had its own internet with its own ID and Password and everytime there are new guests, they reset it and change it. I guess we were just unlucky that they didn't reset it for us and we had the wrong ID and Password. Despite that we had a short but great time at Watermark and we would come back everytime we are in Brisbane!

Good breakfast and rooms. View over parklands was great but balcony was locked so you couldn't use it.

This 5 star rating is based on the "Park Suite" room. This room was generously sized and had an extremely comfortable bed. The view was amazing and the bathroom contained one of the biggest showers I have ever seen. Please note that having seen the other rooms recently, I only give 5 stars for this particular suite....

Nice rooms, good breakfast. Situated actors the road from the Roma St Parklands. Would stay again, even if the old elevators are a little terrifying.

Very nice hotel with good free wifi. A little out of the way, though not a bad place to stay if going to Kelvin Grove QUT like I was.

Upon arrival front office staff member greeted us with a smile and was polite and friendly. The room was very clean, nice decor and roomy, beds and pillows so comfortable. Our room was at the front of the hotel so we had a nice view over the park. Room service was good and meals we had were delicious and reasonably priced. We found all the staff friendly and would recommend staying there. The hotel is in a good location. Louise

As part of a delayed flight staff were quick in processing many guests simultaneously. Room is recently refreshed and comfortable. Unfortunately room service not available all day.

We love staying here. Comfy bed and pillows. Love the Nespresso machine. Short cab ride to CBD. Easy access to Hotel from motorway. Very reasonably priced.

My room was level 2 facing the front of the building. It was noisy and I could hear music from the Cafe below early. I don't like the square toilet. However the staff were excellent, especially Shaun at the front desk. The breakfast was superb and the rooms are clean and modern. It's a good place, just try to get a room higher up in the building.

Got to hotel by default as other accommodation could not put us up for 3 consecutive nights.

Nice public gardens opposite and comfortable walk through the gardens to Roma St railway station.
Seems to be 2.6 km to everywhere.
Rates for accommodation, meal costs and bar costs very reasonable.
Would be our choice place of stay whenever back in Brisbane.

We recently stayed at the Watermark Hotel for two nights.

The location is an energetic walk through the park into town or on weekdays there is a free city loop bus virtually at the front door.

The Roma St. Park opposite is a beautiful park to stroll through.

The reception staff were excellent and went out of their way to find a suitable room as my wife is quite noise sensitive.

No problem with parking.

Newly refurbished rooms and public areas have been tastefully done and the beds very comfortable.

Also my wife had misplaced her expensive sunglasses whilst we were evaluating another room and to her relief and pleasant suprise, housekeeping had located them and placed them in our room while we were out.

We would return to the Watermark Hotel and recommend it to others.
