Nice hotel not far from Cologne city centre. Good sized room with shower. Bed comfortable and room very quiet.

Breakfast is fine. Location is good. However, it was quite dirty in the room, cleaning is not the best. Moreover, we had awkward situation when came to the room around 7pm after being in the city centre. A guy did cleaning there, and when he saw us he started to complain that he was tired, he was almost dead, and he was alone who did cleaning in the hotel. He was quite clumpsy and dropped chemicals for toilet on the bed, and when he kept garbage from garbage bin, it also fell down.

Wonderful hotel! Close to the center, comfortable large rooms, very friendly staff, and excellent breakfast. They even held our luggage for the whole day after we checked out. Gave us recommendations for food and nice places to walk. Would definitely stay again!

Good budget hotel with clean, spacious rooms and washrooms what's expected of a budget hotel. Wifi could be improved as it kept disconnecting.

Breakfast good. Room was o.k. and clean. However in the morning its relatively loud and you wake up. Parking fee is too high (12 euro per night).

The people running the hotel are really friendly and pleasant to deal with. Our room was in the basement so not very light but it had a door directly out into the backyard. Standard German style breakfast, but freshly cooked with decent variety.

Nice hotel located close to the Hansaring S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations, with very helpful staff. Rooms are OK, though our bathroom (in particular the shower) could use a little maintenance. Breakfast and a bottle of carbonated mineral water in the room was included in the rates for each day. Bed was comfy, too.

Overall, a recommended accommodation for the price.

Solides Hotel, aber etwas altbacken. Zimmer nicht modern eingerichtet. Frühstück ist ganz nett.

Freundliches Empfangspersonal, die auch sehr hilfsbereit waren bei lokalen Fragen. Das Hotel innen ist sehr schön und dadurch das es nicht so groß ist und verwinkelt gebaut, strahlt es eine sehr warme Atmosphäre aus. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig, das Bad ist aber im Verhältnis zur größte des Zimmers ziemlich klein.
Ein Stern Abzug gibt es weil die man den Teppich der Zimmer mal erneuern könnte und die Bettdecken ziemlich hart und steif waren. Außerdem roch das Bad etwas muffig, allerdings konnte ich nicht heraus finden warum, da es sehr sauber war.

Außer pfui innen hui. Von aussen sieht es bisse heruntergekommenen aus. Innen ist das Hotel in einem alten Stil gehalten und sehr gepflegt. Das Zimmer war top und hatte ne moderne Ausstattung. Aber ein bisschen hell hörig.

Das Zimmer war im Keller, worüber wir erst etwas befremdet waren, angesichts der höllischen Temperaturen draußen allerdings war die kühle Lage des Zimmers wunderbar. Es war hübsch eingerichtet nach ländlichem Stil und hatte ein großes Bad sowie einen großzügigen eckschrank. Aufgrund der kellerlage war es trotz dünner Wände sehr ruhig und das Frühstück war für 6 Euro völlig in Ordnung. Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, es war kein high-class-hotel, jedoch sehr angenehm.

das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Hotel an sich ist sehr altmodisch - sicher ein Stil, den manche mögen, manche nicht. Wer auf moderne Hotels wert legt, sollte hier nicht wohnen. Das Zimmer was ich hatte war klein, aber ausreichend. Was nicht schön war, war der Teppichboden mit ausgeblichenen Flecken. Als hätte jemand mit Chlor gespielt. Die Möbel sehr alt. Das Bett ist bequem und die Bettwäsche waren sehr sauber. Generell war das Zimmer sehr sauber.
Im Bad hat mich das extrem kleine Waschbecken gestört, dass auch am Wasserhahn völlig verkalkt war, sodass kaum Wasser, und wenn dann spritzend herauskam. Das Hotel ist sehr eng von Gebäude her. Also wer es urig, klein und mit Teppich mag - für den ist es sicher gut. Das Frühstück hat daran erinnert, wenn man früher bei Oma gefrühstückt hat. Alles liebevoll hergerichtet mit reichlich Auswahl.

Was given a room in the basement with no windows. There was no ventilation in the room and bathroom. The room smelled dust and mould. There were spider webs in the bathroom floor corners, which shows luck of cleanliness. Walls were thin and could hear noise from rooms around.

Breakfast was good for the price.

This a ok Hotel. Don't expect too much. Service good and the people who work here are friendly. And don't take the room number 4. The Wifi connection is horrible.
