Whether you want a light lunch or something more, this is the place to go. Some of the best food and the friendliest service makes for an amazing and unforgettable experience. The food is as good as you will find! And the price is beyond reasonable.

So if you're looking for a place for a special occasion, or if you just want some amazing food (and service!), I can't recommend The Woodbine highly enough!

Thank you Susan and your staff for such a great weekend with our family. We rented four rooms for a family gathering and had a wonderful experience. The prime rib is excellent and the hotel had everything we needed including local directions and suggestions. This is a must see true first class B&B ! And the people in Madisonville are top notch!

The Woodbine B&B is a historical landmark. Very enjoyable lunch menu, and the ribeye plate Thurs -Saturday evenings is delicious. I haven't stayed in the rooms, but have had friends come in town to stay. They told me it was very nice. Owner and employees are very courteous too.

I hosted my sister's baby shower here; it was perfect! Sunday brunch was delicious, priced well below expectation for the quality of food, and Susan & Rebecca could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Worth the drive out to Madisonville!

Cute restaurant like a tea room with good lunch choices in Madisonville Tx. Great for your group of girlfriends. Parking across the street but not a busy highway.

The Woodbine Hotel and restaurant is a hidden gem. I travel alot for work and typically stay in chain hotels, however once I found our about the Woodbine from a local recommendation, I stopped by for dinner. Rebeca provided excellent service on Thursday's prime rib night. I met Susan, the proprietor... Long story short i have never quite felt like im at home when i travel until I found the woodbine. Stay for dinner or the night and breakfast. (Chef Leon cooks an excellent one)... its hard to go home when you feel you already are there.

Their Sunday brunch is wonderful!.!. It's $13.00 for all you can eat., desserts included....salad, fresh fruits, whipped potatoes and gravy, pork tenderloin in a tasty gravy, p. rib, catfish, clams, chicken fried steak, and wonderful melt in your mouth desserts!
the owners and wait staff have my utmost appreciation for the personal and pleasant attitudes and service EVERY TIME I'm there.
Their rooms are comparable to your nicer hotels, but with a more personal and comfy feeling.... if you re ever near Madisonville , please stop in to spend the night or just to dine...its a wonderful experience either way.!!

My wife and I wanted to get away from the harem-scarem of Houston for a weekend, but not so far away that we would spend all of our time
driving. We looked into the Woodbine Hotel in Madisonville, and thought
it sounded like exactly what we were looking for. Upon entering the
front door, you are taken back to a time when buildings were showcases
for the finest craftsmen of the day to display their talents, and your
host/hostess took equal pride in creating an unforgettable experience
for their guests. The owners and the staff made us feel right at home,
and we enjoyed our fellowship with them, as well as with a group of
quilting ladies who were staying there, who we now consider our new
friends. As far as the food here, you will experience the freshest,
local ingredients prepared by a classically trained gourmet chef. The
pecan-covered French Toast is unbelievable; literally melts in your
mouth, and the prime rib was easily one of the best I have ever had,
served with farm-fresh vegetables. Then for a little interesting
conversation with an after-dinner drink in the bar. Very relaxing,
whether enjoying a cup of coffee on the porch admiring the beautiful
grounds, or chillin' in the jacuzzi with a glass of wine. When we need
to run away from Houston again, the Woodbine Hotel will definitely be at
the top of our list.

First time ever posting a review on Google... Went here for brunch and it was amazing! I have a stressful job, and couldn't have imagined a better place to "let off some steam" on a Sunday - while enjoying delicious, made-from-scratch food. A true gem in Madisonville!

Best food in Madisonville. In the top 5 restaurant in 100miles! The Sunday buffet is amazing. Their mashed potatoes are 100% the best ever. Their beer battered fries are the best!! Everything on the menu is amazing. The veggies are always fresh and perfectly prepared. 5 Stars - consistent Everytime!

First pulling in, it was dark and almost looked sketchy. We got in our room and saw some more of the place the next morning and it was adorable. It had a comfortable and very well kept late 1800s feel. I definitely recommend this place. It is unique, rooms were spacey, breakfast was AWESOME, and I would much rather stay here than at your average hotel chain.

We planned our stay as a short romantic weekend getaway. The Woodbine is just 30 minutes from College Station so we thought we would try it. Drove in just in time for dinner and the magnificent meal set the mood for the rest of our weekend.
The atmosphere of our room was perfect for some relaxing time together. You have to remember that this hotel is over 100 years old. You feel as if you have traveled back in time.
During our stay it rained. Sitting on the upper level back porch snuggling on the wicker love seat while listening and watching the rain fall onto the metal roof made the romantic getaway I had hoped for perfect.
The French toast we had for breakfast the next morning (which breakfast is included with your stay) made us contemplate staying the night again!
We plan on using this as our getaway in the future for now on.
Thank you so much Susan for being so inviting and sharing your amazing home with us!
