Very nice place. One of the nicer Worldmark establishments. If you are offered the incentive for the Williamson food and wine tasting... Definite do it! The food is outstanding. (I'm not a wine drinker....lol)

Pool is perfect temperature. They have play area for kids and small separate pool area for younger kids. Esthetically beautifully landscaped. All rooms have great views from balconies. Volleball net, basketball court, arcade, etc..... Solar power. In wine country! Perfect little spot. Dont want to leave 😥

As all WorldMarks it is well kept and has a variety of things to do. It seems a little more crowded than most because of the layout. People were rather loud in the evenings but once in the bedroom you couldn't really hear them.

Went on a NorCal sight seeing trip and we stayed at a vacation rental here. Accommodations are excellent. We were in absolute comfort during our 3 day stay. Lots to do in and around the Worldmark Windsor. Book your stay here. You won't regret it.

We stayed for a week in April. Very comfortable and clean. Our room had a full kitchen plus a gas grill on the balcony with a table and chairs. Great feature. The only negatives for me was that the price for wi-fi was a bit high in my opinion, and the coffee in the lobby was not great. We arrived late Saturday night and I was dying for a coffee when I got up on Sunday morning. The coffee was OK but they only had powdered creamer instead of milk or cream... I guess I am picky but at a more expensive resort I expected more, especially since the lobby is fantastic with a large living room area, some games, and a huge fireplace. Overall two small complaints but we had a great week. I recommend Platypus wine tours if you stay here - the party bus came right to the resort to pick us up!

This has been our favorite Worldmark property since it opened!! Fabulous location between Healdsburg and Santa Rosa with excellent proximity to wineries!! It’s definitely our happy place. The only down side is checking in at the resort. To get your parking pass they send to the hard sell people which absolutely makes my blood boil!! 😡 Other than that, it’s perfect for us. Except for TV reception!! Not good!!

5

Clean, neat, comfortable units. In unit washer/dryer. The kitchen is reasonably well equipped. Location is convenient.

My only negative is that the kitchen knifes are certified to be used by the criminally insane. As a demonstration to one of our guests I took one the sharpest knife and slammed the cutting edge down on the palm of my hand. It didn't leave a mark. However in my experience this is typically of timeshare kitchen knifes.

All and all we would be happy to stay here again.

9

A typical Worldmark development... And that's a good thing! This is one of our favorite places to stay. As a jumping-off place it is hard to beat. A one hour drive or less takes you to a wide variety of landscapes and places to discover, including the Pacific Coast, the wine country, redwoods,.... We typically visit in the spring, so we do not use the pool etc. That in no way diminishes our pleasure in the place. Highly recommended.

We needed a ground floor disability room. Upon check-in we were told the central heating wasn't working and it was the only ground floor room available so they were going to provide portable space heaters...they were so small, it was quite the joke to think that it would provide enough heat for the open living/dining/kitchen area. Then we discovered the hot water wasn't working. We were instructed to use the shower in another room. We ended up just moving to that room, as that was super inconvenient. Further, we did not like the idea that we had just cooked with and eaten off dishes that hadn't been cleaned with sufficient hot water to kill possible infections, such as hepatitis. We also weren't about to haul our dirty dishes across the building to wash them with the 2nd units hot water.

In the new room, the cupboard door below the sink was broken and fell on to my shin, causing a dark bruise. Also, we had booked an extra room for relatives. The hot and cold water were reversed on the handles and the hair dryer wouldn't work.

And finally, after going into town for dinner we could not find any guest parking in the lot. There were large trucks parked perpendicular, across the parking spaces. We were told they were letting people displace from the recent fires park there and that we sold use street parking. Not that we don't have sympathy for the fire victims, but if we are paying for the timeshare, why can't we park in the lots and the fire associated vehicles park on the street? It wasn't the biggest deal, but just didn't make sense.

When I stayed here it was an amazing experience. They have plenty of pools close to the complexes. They are fully furnished rooms (spoons, knives, blenders, pots, etc) they have timed fireplaces. The main office has a pool table and a computer room. Would definitely go again.

6

Have stayed here many times in the past and was very happy. This visit however caused me to be quite unhappy. The elevator in Bldg 7 broke down and made it very difficult to get to my condo and even more difficult when it came time to leave due to the need to carry baggage, food and kitchen accessories to car which was some distance away.

Needed a place to go that was relatively close to Sac. Windsor was the place to be. Our 3 bdrm/3 bthrm spacious, penthouse was beautifully appointed and had a large jetted tub in the master bedroom, a slightly smaller master suite in front and the 3rd bdrm had twin bds. We really enjoyed having a grill on the patio and a full sized kitchen. Wished we had more time to enjoy our short lovely mini retreat and look forward to returning.

5

The people where nice but the beds were like sleeping on bricks. The dresser in the master bedroom was defective as the drawer kept opening on its own and the rooms were cold. When we called for maintenance, the gentleman said he and the resort were aware and that all the condos had the same problem. He was nice enough to bring a space heater though.

It was great for staying the night and relaxing. It was a perfect spot to get into the city or any surrounding areas. It wasn't the best place to hangout. The hot tub and pool was nice, but to pay for Internet is very annoying. I didn't want to spend the day there, but it was a great place to stay the night. Service was also great.

8

Stayed in a one bedroom unit for a night. Living space was larger then other locations I've visited. Up to date, clean. Would stay again. One star deducted for the agressive staff member I over heard pressuring another guest to attend the sales pitch. One no from the guest should suffice. Whining that it would help you out and asking three times in a row is harassment on what is THEIR vacation.

Nice facilities, but we were on the ground floor and were surprised by unwanted bug guests that only came out at night (small cockroaches). Manager offered to move us to a different room on our last night, maintenance came and sprayed a human friendly product the first morning after we found some. There was construction nearby, maybe that disturbed them to come inside if the guest leaves the patio door open.

The accommodations are great! However, we drove 8.5 hours from Riverside, CA thinking or room would be ready at 4pm. Arrived at 6pm only to be told or room was not ready. Finally got our key after 7pm. Spoke to a few other guests that have this happen to them before. Kinda sucked to drive all that way to sit in the lodge and wait.

6

We have stayed in much better resorts. It's not terrible but its definitely not above three stars. The layout of the room was awkward, the parking is terrible and the walls are thin. There were many nights where we could hear everything outside of the room and it kept us up. Do not waste your money at the restaurant on site. Charlie's is not worth the price tag. There are many other choices for restaurants close by. The town of Windsor is nice and has a few restaurants that are well worth the money. Overall, we had a nice stay, but if you are expecting more than a three star type of hotel you should look somewhere else.

Clean and beautiful grounds offer comfort and serenity to the person ready for a breather. The quaint town of Windsor is worth checking out. Only one thing amiss, there was no kettle in our unit. The review that is 4 years old should no longer be relied upon. We have stayed twice at Windsor and were not disappointed in any real way. The latest refurbishment of our unit was tasteful and relaxing, there was a blind on our bedroom window to block out light, in addition to the regular plastic slatted set. Management must have been reading concerns either submitted or posted based upon the old review.
Top drawer for our purposes - small criticism: the salt & pepper shakers are gone, In place the tiny disposable type. Cheaping out is never good, sends the wrong message.
