I loved it it was a nice stay...the beds were comfortable...the only down side was they didn't have any microwave & refrigerator in the rooms.

This is a $45 hotel. It needs updating. The halls are stupid hot. You can hear everything. No compliment shampoo. Bare bones. Even though the floors are vinyl ( which I prefer) they were not swept. You have no choice but bright flurencent lights. just not welcoming.

Hotel was clean and inexpensive. My husband and I stayed one night with our pups on our way through the area. This was nicer than some other Motel 6’s we’ve stayed at. No fee for the dogs. Bed was okay. The room didn’t have a fridge, microwave or blow dryer, but they were able to loan me a blow dryer. Would stay here again if looking for somewhere affordable.

So, as far as a clean and convenient place to spend a night, this hotel got the job done. I wouldn't go back though unless I had to. Especially given the lack of common amenities such as shampoos and such in the bathroom (just one bar of soap provided) and then not even complimentary coffee provided in room or in the lobby. For the price, there are certainly better hotel options in the area.

Fairly new building from what I can tell. Room were clean and quiet. They have a elevator which was great as I was on the third floor.

Front desk staff was nice, it just took several tries to get anyone to come to the reception desk. The room was clean, our only real complaint with this room was the smoke detector kept falling out of the base on the ceiling, even when no one was walking around above us. Other guests were loud and slamming doors constantly but that's a joy of traveling. The bed was uncomfortable and when one of us moved the other got to bounce around a bit. Don't depend on using the laundry facilities unless you want to spend the whole day waiting for the single washer and dryer to free up. There's a couple of very good laundromats in Moab, you will spend more money but a lot less time doing laundry.

Housekeeping waking everybody up at 7am.... No DND tags available to leave on the door... the receptionist suggested I call up every morning at 7am and request that I not be disturbed/woken up by housekeeping else they will knock and wake me up.
Beats the purpose aye?.... A simple Do Not Disturb tag would have sufficed... but you got rid of it last year and forgot it's very purpose...

As far as motel 6 goes pretty good, the room was pretty large, but the bed sheets were kind of scratchy. Lobby and hallways where well enough maintained. The staff was friendly but it took a while to check in. Got what we paid for so it was pretty good value.

I Chose this hotel because they allowed dogs and they make it so stress free having a dog. Rooms are not fancy but are a good value for the money. The pool was very nice to have also.

Room was clean and comfortable, location was very convenient. The pool was modest but appeared to be clean and well-maintained. One staff member was slightly short and just less than friendly with my fiance when he checked us in but otherwise no complaints.

The hotel was very noisy. The room door did not seal completely/go all the way to the floor. We were near the elevator and heard every time it opened or if someone just pushed the button. We were also near an ice machine that was noisy and broken during our entire stay, we heard every time someone tried it. We also heard every step that the people above us took. In addition, the pool was filthy for the first two days of our stay. It was covered with leaves, twigs, and dead bugs. It did finally get cleaned on the last day, but it was horrible those first two days. Furthermore, this was not the inexpensive price that you expect for the motel 6 chain. It was actually fairly pricey, and definitely not worth the price. I would not recommend this motel at all.

Loved that the pool was open in March. Everything was clean. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We love that we could bring our dog too. The only problem was our toilet was really loud...it just kept draining and refilling. Not a huge deal, just kind of annoying. Also our key didn't work but we switched it out very easily at the front desk.

Dogs stay free. no breakfast, mini fridge or microwave so be prepared to either bring your own food/cooler or to eat out for every meal. the room was clean. the outdoor hot tub was inviting. There was a dead grassy area where, even though it was dead, it was still great because my pooch is a diva and only seems to go potty on grass. 3 stars in part because of the non mini fridge situation, but also because the sound insulation isn't that good (not sure what the people in the room upstairs were up to...) and on the day of check out, housekeeping came by at 9am, 2 hours before checkout time, to start cleaning. I know that's their job but it was frustrating to me as I was trying to sleep in because I had to work that night. I had looked the night before and there wasn't a "do not disturb" sign in the room for me to hang on the door. The girl who checked me out was grumpy and not very hospitable....Overall, I wasn't impressed.

We always stay here, when in Moab, it's the best Motel 6 there is! They are pet friendly! We generally stay at a Motel 6, where ever we go because they are pet friendly. But often the stay is not the greatest experience. This motel 6 is well worth the visit. The building is new so to speak, clean and no nonsense. The dollar value is very good!

I realize this is a Motel 6, so it wasn't going to be awesome, but this place is not even close to being worth the cost. At best, it's a place to sleep, providing you are far enough from the absurdly loud dinging elevator. Even then, I'm not sure you'd get any sleep since the walls are so thin, you might hear the elevator and the entire conversations of the people getting off of it no matter how far down the hall you are. This is not an exaggeration. Our keys didn't work the first time, and we were given another room after several attempts. Later, we heard the every word spoken by two women who underwent the same ordeal several doors down. Otherwise, despite the remodel, the place isn't exactly clean or comfortable. But to it's credit, the staff was nice and helpful.

Very surprised by this Motel 6! Interior rooms and a modern look and feel to the entire place. My room was quite nice. Bed was new and comfy. The bathroom had a nice size tub and the water flow wasn't restricted there or at the sink. I would have given 5 stars but there wasn't a mini fridge or microwave in my room. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Nicest Motel 6 I've stayed at! Clean, quiet, and everything in good condition. This one is set up like a hotel (room doors inside building) instead of a motel (room doors outside), so it also feels safer. Definitely recommend for an inexpensive choice near Arches National Park.

Excellent place to stay with pets. Front desk guy wasn't overtly friendly, but didn't need to be. No real breakfast to speak of, but plenty in town so no problem there. Rooms were clean and reasonably quiet. Linens and towels appeared clean and fresh. Overall we were quite pleased with our stay.

Staff was very friendly, grounds were kept relatively clean considering they get so many dogs coming through. The room was small, but good for our two night stay. Would be nice if there was a hair dryer and better pillows in the room. We only had two very thin pillows on the bed. The room was pretty clean upon arrival, but my dogs definitely smelled potential pee spots from previous dogs in the room and kept sniffing the spot until I cleaned it with Lysol. Overall, we got what we paid for. Would I stay there again? Absolutely, but I'd get a bigger room.

The Moab Motel 6 has been remodeled & rooms are nice with quality bedding & bath towels, compared to prior stays. They also allow pets at no additional charge. During off season they have the best rates in town. if possible avoid rooms close to the front desk as walls are thin & you'll hear people coming going, getting ice, etc.

Room was average and pretty clean. Some stains in the bathroom that could be cleaned up, but not too bad overall. Blankets on the bed were very thin for the cold time of year, but at least the heater worked well. The man at the front desk seemed unhappy with life, but we only dealt with him for check in so no big deal. Good location and love that they are pet friendly with no pet fee!

This is the best motel 6 I've stayed at. The building seems to be very new. It's dog friendly which was very important for us (and clearly for many other guests!)

The rooms are very basic, offering a bed, bathroom, tv, and desk space. There are no amenities like a mini fridge, microwave, or even toiletries like small bottles of shampoo/conditioner or tissues, so bring your own!

I normally don't write reviews, but feel compelled to this time given a terrible experience I had at Motel 6 in Green River and the AMAZING experience I've always had at Motel 6 in Moab. I've stayed in Moab a handful of times and it's consistently friendly, clean, affordable and exactly what it should be. We area family of 3 plus one dog and really appreciate there not being an extra charge for our dog. Thank Moab 6 Moab!!! This is what EVERY Motel 6 should be like.

Very average motel. Check in and out smooth and quick. Front desk staff surly and not pleasant. Amenities we have come to expect were sorely missed: breakfast, shampoo, in room coffee. Free internet worked well very small room. Elevator and luggage cart appreciated. Price high fir what you received. Room adequately cleaned.

No refrigerator, coffee pot or microwave. Pillows flat and hard and couldn't get an extra pillow which I need for back issues. Only 1 wash cloth in room and couldn't get another one. No breakfast and coffee tasted like it was saved and rewarmed. Sounded like a herd of elephants were running back and forth above us all night. Room was very small but was clean and no unpleasant smells.

The hotel was in a good location and the room was clean and the price was reasonable. The best feature was the pool as it was hot outside and the water felt cool and refreshing. However, most of the pool umbrellas were broken and so there was little shade. Also, the TV remote in the room was missing so we had to get a replacement by visiting the front desk. All in all it was adequate for our short (2 day) stay.

The Motel is very accessible to the Arches and the Canyonlands National Parks. Room was comfortable and clean. Property well maintained. Kids liked the hot tub. Free breakfast, hot or continental, would have been better. The Super 8 next door had that.

Room was pretty clean, the floors could have used a mopping. It was right across from the Elevator and Ice Machine, so I woke up at 5 am with people getting Ice. If I had know the location, I would have requested a different room. The bathrooms did not have any Shampoo or Conditioner, which would have been nice. Luckily I brought some with me.

The hotel was at a perfect location. It was between 2 national parks and was near a little city for good restaurants. They had nice beds and a hot tub for someone coming back tired from hikes. Definitely would recommend to someone.

I checked in at 10:30 PM. The night clerk was pleasant and helpful.
The accommodation was clean.
Unfortunately, the next morning while I was loading my vehicle, the cleaning crew decided to access my room at nine thirty AM. Check out time is listed as eleven. I had not checked out and was not allowed back in the room so I was left with the only choice of checking out. The morning front desk personnel just apologized offering no other explanation. This interaction is the reason for my low rating.

Just a no-frills pit stop. Don't expect too much. Don't get too much. Lift wasn't working when we were there. Reception kindly asked us (as we are young and able) if we are willing to stay on the 2nd floor to make room for less able guests. Short drive to the Arches National Park. Long drive to town.

Lady at the front desk was awkward to say the least. First time walking in the room it seemed as if a bottle of Lysol exploded. I appreciate having the illusion that it is clean but if I can't breath than it seems silly. You've got a light falling out of the wall in the pool, my 7 year old daughter scratch her shin on it. the"hot" tub isn't hot, Luke warm at best. I'm 95% sure the water from the jets were from the pool. The bathroom shower is stupid... Have you ever tired to show there? It was awful showing in a corner like that. Didn't help that the shower was kinda broken.
Over all I get that it's a "cheap" hotel. But for 3 nights at over $600 I guess I was hoping for a bit more.

The staff at motel 6 was great, and incredibly helpful when I got in. The rooms were clean and nice. There are a few things that I think could be improved however. I got a room with 2 queen beds, and the beds were actually more like doubles and very uncomfortable for two people. I think the wording on "queen" needs to be changed or the beds need to be upgraded. Also the hotel did not provide any shampoo and conditioner. Typically I expect hotels I stay in to have these things and I did not bring any for my stay which did cause some annoyance. Other than those things I think the motel is great.

If you are looking for a bed they have a bed. The website talks about it being recently remodeled, which seems to mean new flooring and a coat of paint. The mattress is old and tired. There is a night stand on one side of the bed only. There is no mini fridge. They provide soap only. There is coffee. There is no continental breakfast.

My one night stay was fine. Room was clean and comfortable. However, as I was about to check in with my reservation in hand, someone just stopping in asking for vacancies gets the same room for $10. less than I paid. Clerk had the opportunity to offer me the same discount but didn't. Poor customer service I say.

Spend 10 more bucks to go somewhere else. I'm willing to suffer for a cheaper room. But we could hear every noise in the hallway and conversations in the next room. If you turn the fan on it helps. Towels were stiff, room was tiny, only one nightstand, only one plug near the bed. The check in staff was nice. Good location.

Newly remodeled room had everything we needed because we tend to bring our own stuff. Some frills have been left out in this remodel such as a tissue dispenser, shampoo, and coffee maker. Still a great deal for the price. The motel was a bit too warm for our comfort and that, to my mind, is a needless expense for the corporation. One can always turn up the heat in the room.

Location ideal for local sight seeing and located at a quiet end of town. Helpful and friendly staff and made our daughters dog very welcome. There was no charge for the dog, although I don't know whether that is the norm. Rooms are clean but basic and no carpet as this means the rooms can be kept cleaner if and pets have an accident. There is no breakfast provided although there was free coffee etc. in the hotel lobby. It is situated very close to a diner so breakfast wasn't a problem.

First the good...The staff was very friendly and helpful through the problems I experienced. I had two consecutive reservations-one for one night and the other for 2 nights and was not surprised when the card key did not work for the second reservation. They reprogrammed it, but I had to have it reprogrammed two more times for that second reservation. The second time, neither it, nor the master keycard, worked on my door. It was a little after 6 AM and I had to be somewhere in less than an hour. The maintenance man came quickly, but it was after 7:00 before he could finish.

There was also a problem with the person/people above me jumping on the floor ALL NIGHT. I complained 3 times, but it did not stop. The first night, the front desk person said "He was belligerent" and that she could not get him to stop--even after talking with him several times. She said his excuse was that he had heartburn. The second night, another front desk person said that the guyS in that room worked from 6:00-2:00AM. That did not explain why there was noise at from midnight to 5:00AM.

It was pretty bad. When I travel alone, I stay at budget motels when I can, so I do not expect the frills I could find at more expensive places. I want places I stay to be safe, clean, and restful. My experience was this Motel 6 was safe and clean, but lacking in the restful category.

Our small family stayed here while in town for a week for work. Rooms were nicely updated and refreshingly modern. Staff was friendly and the rooms were kept clean. They do have hard floors here, and a downside to that is that noise from above is louder than it otherwise would be. For that reason, and based on reviews, we opted for a top level room, which was a great choice. You could still hear people with shoes walking in the room next to you, on occasion, but it wasn't a huge deal. Ice maker by our room was also quite loud.

Overall, and especially for the price, this was a great choice of lodging in the area. Note that it's within a moderate walk to downtown (short enough of a walk we did it several times a day with a toddler in a stroller), but there isn't a sidewalk that runs from here down the highway to the main area of town. I'd suggest taking 500 W south and then head east right into town. Much less traffic, nice sidewalks, and not a bad, scenic walk.

This was an alright place. There wasn't much parking available, so we had to take one of the last spots in the back of the motel. The lady at the front desk was nice, but she did ask that I walk back to my car to get my license plate number (being very tired from travel, I wasn't horribly enthusiastic to do so). The room met our needs. It was clean. The bed wasn't very comfortable, but we slept. This type of place doesn't provide breakfast, so don't go in expecting it. The price was fairly reasonable, although there are probably less expensive places in Moab to stay. The guy at the front desk in the morning couldn't have cared less about us during checkout. Overall, you'll get a good experience here. But I won't go out of my way to recommend it.

I had expected the usual microwave, refrigerator and coffee makers found in most other motel rooms. I brought food I needed to keep iced and had to use the lobby's microwave.

I like most of the simplicity of the newer designs. I am phobic about picking up bedbugs from motels, and carry UV detection lights and goggles. While I didn't find any sign of insects, and it was easy to inspect, the door had a large gap at the bottom where they could come in from other guests' luggage or other rooms...big light and noise leak at night as well. (hint. Hint!!)

The staff was very friendly and helpful! I love the flowering trees and outside landscaping! I felt that Buddy-Love, my dog was welcome as a guest as well.

Overall, very nice stay!

Clean rooms, affordable, relaxing outdoor hot tub, friendly staff. I recommend staying here, we had a great time. The only thing to consider is its not so walk-able distance to the downtown area where the bars and food are located. The street around the hotel was dark and there was no sidewalk in some areas forcing us to walk on the highway shoulder. Other than that it was a great stay.

This was the best Motel 6 that I have ever stayed at. Finally someone figured out that some sort of vinyl or hardwood floors (plus the color scheme) makes for a crisp, clean experience. Excellent design of the room. Hotel staff were very courteous, friendly, and helpful. As always, I was happy that Motel 6 is pet friendly, without extra fees. I normally book a Motel 6 stay expecting a very economical 2 star basic stay. This hotel surprised me with a 3-4 star experience. I already have recommended this hotel to friends as THE place to stay in Moab.
