Me and my partner stayed here during our 3 day visit to Salvador. I'm not overly familiar with areas in Salvador but the hotel is a short taxi ride (approx 15-20 mins) to Pelourinho and the Elevador Lacerda.

On our final day we checked out by midday but our flight wasn't till late that evening. The hotel allowed us to keep our luggage in storage while we lay by the pool to kill some time and read a book.

Staff were extremely friendly and very helpful if we needed anything.

I had a really good time. Staff is so great they answered every question and gave me the best service each time. The hotel is clean and the beds are comfortable. Highly recommend!!

Breakfast needs attention. As a Christian that does not eat pork, I've come to the reality that hotels like this one does not have a variety of protein available. This is unfair and needs to be corrected. The rooms are spacious, the location is a trump card. Staff are happy and super friendly. My major concern is the limited options at the most important meal of my day

This is probably the biggest and one of the nicest hotels right in the center of Salvador.
We had a superior double room which has a nice interior design, a nice view on the park, a big bed, and clean bathroom.
The pool area is big enough as well and even though it's right next to the street, the noise of the traffic wasn't disturbing.
Breakfast was good as well, with a lot of choice.

The only negative point I can think of is that the receptionists don't all speak English, which is strange for such a good hotel which attracts a lot of foreign tourists.

Very nice rooms and decor, uneven service in the lobby. At best, OK restaurants but overpriced for what you get. Voucher meals near inedible. Very good restaurants within walking distance are nonexistent, but one across the street to the right was OK for lunch. Rooms are reasonably priced tho, and a modest fitness room is free. Free happy-hour cocktail workshop was great.

Excelente estrutura, atendimento e localização. O Hotel da Bahia já tem tradição em Salvador, mas não tinha visitado ainda após a reforma, ficou melhor do que já foi, recomendo!

Does the job. The pool isn't a lap pool and a bit exposed. Came here for a conference and they were able to accommodate foreigners well, ie English-speaking, etc.

The Hotel Wish is an excellent, centrally located Hotel in Salvador. Rooms are large and comfortable and the breakfast is very good.

The room is adequate and the bed comfortable. We have had to request the basic advertised supplied goods ie iron/board. Cups saucers/hostess tray goods. Instant coffee is not supplied????? I'm guessing they want you to buy it. I did think of bringing my own but I'm in Brazil..surely coffee can't be difficult. It seems impossible to buy a single glass of wine at the bar but a whole bottle is not a problem!! A money rinsing exercise? The pool area is decent as is the breakfast. The staff are either lovely or plain rude. I guess some don't care for The English. Overall I feel we have paid a top price for an average hotel. Come on read your reviews. Pull your socks up. You could have a great hotel here!!!

Rooms were good and service was too. But we were not told that breakfast was not free till after we sat down.

Great food

The Sheraton da Bahia Hotel is a great option for staying in Salvador, one of the most exemples of modern architecture in Bahia. Great location, near by the Campo Grande Square.

Hotel was safe, and clean. Breakfast could use a better selection of fruits. No coffee maker in rooms. So if you wake up early, you'll have to wait until you go downstairs. Otherwise decent place, nothing great.

Hotel is one of the nicest ones in the area. Rooms are modern with a unique atmosphere. Clean. Service can be hit or miss, but overall friendly staff especially at the restaurant

Muito bem localizado, no centro de Salvador, com uma linda praça a frente, porém de difícil estacionamento, e o serviço de manobrista extremamente caro. Funcionários muito educados e prestativos.

Good hotel! Room is really clean and the bed is really comfortable. Breakfast is really good (juices not so much). Now the bad things: Everything is REALLY dark. Very few lightning in the room and halls are dark too. The curtains on the other hand lets sun through so at 5:00 am in the morning the sun was shining right in my face as i tried to sleep and there was nothing I could do. There is no door (or curtain) in the shower so the bathroom floor gets completely soaked and they only give you one floor towel. The door chain was broken so I couldn't use it as a lock. the phone was a bit old and smelled but It lets you use the speaker so It wasn't a huge issue to me. Location is not the best but you could always use a taxi/uber to get around. The neighborhood to the right of the hotel is dangerous but to the left is ok to walk. You can take a long walk to the barra beach with no problems. Food in the hotel is kinda expensive and there's no other options near the hotel (there is a subway restaurant right in front of the hotel though). Staff was really friendly and helpful.

It's a very sofisticated place for top class precessional or social events.
