Place was nice all the buildings were separate, almost like an appartment complex. Bed hadn't been changed which stunk. Full of crumbs. We called 4 hours before our check-in, and asked them to pull out the sofa bed. They didn't, so the kids woke up when we got into our room. They were then up till 2am... Door on the bathroom had a bad hinge. Had to lift the door to close it.

Location is on a small side road near the expressway. The sign is small. Nice room, small kitchen. Good bathroom, included conditioner for hair. Good bed.

I recently stayed that the Tewksbury Townplace Suite. The team there was amazing. They were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were great and although we did not need a full kitchen it was amazing to have. My son was there to attend an internship at a local company. It was a last minute trip and I actually had made an error when booking the room. The manager and front desk clerk were very helpful and understanding. I really appreciated it and they helped to make a stressful situation dissolve away. I cannot express enough how appreciative I was with the staff and the empathy that they showed. Thank you so much!

Great rooms and excellant staff. I wish they had more diversity in breakfast food. Monday through Friday they offer eggs, sausage and oatmeal for hot food. On the weekends they offer oatmeal and Belgian waffles

Recently our client Ron Herron, a touring musician, stayed here after a nearby performance and loved it! The staff was super friendly, and the room was clean, quiet, and very well equipped. Unfortunately they didn't get to stay long enough to enjoy all the amenities, but the free breakfast and fitness center were perfect before getting back on the road the next day!

We enjoyed our time at TownePlace Suites outside of Somerville, MA. The room was gigantic with two bedrooms, a sitting room, a big dining table, a full kitchen, and of course a bathroom, with a separate room for the toilet and tub. The black out curtains kept the room dark and the property was quiet so we slept well on the comfortable beds. I would have enjoyed staying longer than one day. Recommended!

We had an excellent stay here! The property was quiet, well kept and had lots of parking. The front desk staff was very kind and welcoming at check in. The best part was our room...it was HUGE! Tons of space, like an apartment almost, with a kitchen, two bedrooms and a well appointed living room. The place was really clean and nice. We loved it here!

The room was excellent, and the staff was pleasant. The only bad experience we had was a small fire on the floor below us around midnight, and then the alarms went off again at quarter till five. We weren't able to get a good night sleep, but that is beyond their control.

Comfortable clean rooms, free (early) breakfast. Not a lot going on in the surrounding area. Quick 30 minute drive to Boston area.

Very competitive price for any hotel in the area (was visiting mid-February), and this one was a suite as opposed to a standard single room.

The rooms were fantastic. The complimentary breakfast had many different options. The staff was very helpful and assisted with any problems.

The TownePlace Suite rooms are kind of hit or miss. Some are very well maintained while others don't have working card readers. While I was staying, there was a great deal of snow that was managed well, all things considered. The gym is very small and kept warm, but has free weights which is very welcome.

This is a nice, well-maintained and fairly clean property. The rooms are fairly large, well appointed, and fairly stylish if you can get past the orange walls. The beds are very comfortable and bedrooms good sized. I will see what the breakfast is like in the morning but so far we are well pleased. Is there room for improvement? Sure, but it's a good choice and an excellent value.

Everything here is new/clean, however the color scheme and carpet selection make it feel like its from the 70's.

The tub and shower surround had pink stains, and the shower curtain had a black/brown smear near the top that I prayed was not feces. There were brownish dried stains on the ceiling in the living room. After the employee at the front desk came up to reset our noon-functioning A/C the first day, we were never able to get the A/C fan to turn off despite it being on auto and the temp set to 78.
The bedroom A/C was SO incredibly loud when it kicked in that we were woken up from dead sleep several nights in a row. My husband had trouble sleeping already so this was not appreciated. Finally we got so pissed we turned the temp in that room up to 76 before bedtime.
A trash bin at the picnic table area was so overflowing at one point this week that there was trash piled up all around it for several days. Someone also played with topsoil (at least this is my hope) on the picnic table like it was a sandbox. I realized quickly that any time I walked my dogs, I had to be constantly on the watch for piles of dog feces or broken glass.
The biggest insult in staying here came late one night as I got back from the store. I rounded the oversized shrub beside the outside door and came face-to-face with some drunk guy pissing into the shrub. The sidewalk was completely drenched. He was literally right next to the entrance and I had to step on the wet sidewalk to get inside. Of course the card readers at the outside doors need swiped up to five times before they actually work which made it even better. The next day when I told the employee at the front desk, and said I'd be willing to give a description, he said there was nothing they could do. Of course there is - it's public indecency. Call the cops and help them ID the guy from lobby footage. But I can only assume based on his indifferent reaction, that this is pretty tame compared to other things this guy has seen here.

We had requested a room near an exit, due to having dogs and a lot of belongings with us to carry to and from the room, and got a room right beside the elevator. We reserved the queen-size bedroom suite so we'd have enough space for my husband and I to both work on our laptops during our stay. We were pleased with the room size, and there was a large desk with shelving as well as a laptop stand by the couch. The kitchenette was pretty modern, and everything was nice and clean. I liked that we had a dishwasher, upright fridge/freezer, and even an oven. We noticed the A/C in the living room wasn't working on our first night, and the front desk employee came up and reset it for us right away.

Staying for two weeks with wife and two dogs. Room is nice, ac is very loud in the bedroom but functional. Grassy areas near the doors for our dogs is nice. Staff has been helpful in the interactions we've had

Decent hotel, a little bit older. staff is nice. breakfasts is ok but nothing extravagant. Fast food nearby. Good for a night.

Surrounded by small-town locale, the units are essentially small apartments. For spending a week in the Boston area, TownePlace Suites has been lovely thus far.

Unlike some other reviews I had a great sleep, good bed, and no credit card weirdness. Will stay again when I'm in the area.

Reasonable price for an extended stay with a kitchen. Not the nicest, but it is fine. Bathroom fans are way too loud. Breakfast options each morning are varied enough that its fine that they never change.

Second time back to Boston this month and we chose Towne place suites because we loved it so much the first time

Basic Marriott property, nothing special but good for extended stays on a budget

I struggle finding rooms that consistently meet my expectations in Massachusetts. This property is no exception. I was disappointed right from the beginning with the cleanliness of the common areas. The windows on the entry doors looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months. Hallways needed to be attended to. The rooms were in much better shape but not without issue. The room had both a wall mounted thermostat and a wall HVAC unit with thermostat. No matter what I did I wasn't able to control the heat. I was either too hot or too cool. I was so disappointed that I didn't even check out the breakfast. Sounds like that was a wise choice. This might be an adequate stay for a tradesman, but for someone who is out dozens of nights a year, not for me. Not recommended.

The customer service is fantastic! The woman at the front desk upon check-in (Sandi, I believe) was very sweet and welcoming. There is also a woman who works at breakfast (not sure of her name) who is friendly, talkative, and even offered to make waffles for us.

Downside: The hotel is pet friendly. Now, I love animals, but there was a dog across the hall that was constantly barking! They should do something more to regulate that. Also, the walls are quite thin, we could hear conversations from people next door almost constantly.

This hotel was very clean the staff was very friendly and I will be using them again Halloween 2017. Perfect place to stay. It was not far from Salem and it was very quite and peaceful.

Construction was going on and place was very dirty. Now I know why the prices were so low. My suggestion is to find another hotel.

It's clean and I really like that it has the kitchen, but the wifi effectively doesn't work. It will be connected, but the connection goes no where, and when it does, it's very slow, less than 1Mb/s. Plan on tethering if you want to get any work done.

Very clean and stocked with everything you need. Not your typical 'extended stay'. Have never seen a dishwasher and an oven in a kitchen at a hotel. Also extremely quiet, this building is very well made. They are remodeling the rooms in the other building and you wouldn't even know it even though it looks like they have 2 crews working 10 hour shifts. it looks like the are remodeling at least 20 hours per day and it's still quiet.

Great staff and good value. The hotel is next to 495.
