As I could never quite remember the name let alone pronounce Yesil Ev.
We simply called this place the " Green House " in English.
Great location, easy walking distance to the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and, my favourite; The Underground Cistern. The Grand Bazaar is close by as well, but from memory quite a walk, apart from getting lost.
Really liked the meat dish cooked in a covered clay pot & the simple but tasty pudding, lightly browned. Every meal here in the hotel's restaurant by the fountain or The Glass House was nice and memorable. Maybe I shouldn't use the word "memorable", as I still can't remember the names of the dishes let alone pronounce them.
