Nestled in a quiet residential area in Trier, Becker's is definitely worth a detour. The hotel was nice, but I was especially impressed by the two-Michelin-starred restaurant.
The foods were quintessentially German with some French and Asian twists. Every dish was cooked and prepared to perfection, and wine-pairings, which were almost exclusively comprised of local white wines, were divine. I loved the hostess' charisma and passion, who provided great explanations of taste notes, histories, and origins of each wine.
If you are traveling the Western part of Germany, you should definitely try this place.

The hotel has a nice interior design, large rooms, and good amenities, including laundry, breakfast, and free parking.
However, a few criticisms include inconvenient location, too soft pillows, slightly firm mattress, and thin walls. Breakfast is also only served 8-10. These can matter more or less depending on personal preferences.

Just do it. During the week the weinstubbe has a 3 courses lunch for 28. Perfect food, you taste the 2 stars

Wir haben zu 12 Radlern auf dem Weg von Mettlach über Trier zwei Tage im Hotel Becker verbracht, wo wir in den wunderschönen und komfortablen Hotelzimmern sehr gut untergebracht waren. Das besonders gute Essen hat uns jeden Abend überrascht und die sachkundige Weinprobe mit Frau Becker in den Weinbergen war ein Erlebnis! Sehr zu empfehlen!

Amazing food and friendly staff. The bedrooms are well furnished and spacious. The owner really welcomes you as if you were home.

Séjour en Amoureux au Becker's .... Une très belle découverte pour le service, la table, le menu, et le tour des vins. L'hôtel qui allie modernité très contemporaine et architecture beaucoup plus rustique fait sourire de l’extérieur mais dès les portes passées, se complète à merveille. Une valeur sure qui conjugue avec beaucoup d’expérience, des intitules classiques, mais un travail dans l’assiette ; une présentation très moderne et recherchée. De A à Z une excellente Adresse.

Wir waren als Gruppe von 19 zum Essen im separaten Bereich. Das Menü war sehr gut komponiert, das Essen ausgezeichnet, mit perfekter Weinbegleitung. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und kompetent. Ich würde wieder hingehen, klare Empfehlung!

Wow! Was für ein Abend!!! Klasse Menü, tolles Essen, super Ambiente und nettes Personal! Wir sind rundum zufrieden, es gibt nichts, aber auch wirklich gar nichts zu kritiesieren! Weiter so!!!
