We just adore Lyon ... and the Mercure is perfectly located to visit the whole city .. just friendly staff, large comfortable rooms and our puppy was welcomed too! Just brilliant!

Rooms: clean, silent but some rooms are a little bit small. The hallways were a little bit dusty thought.

Staff: nice and good English

Location: amazing location in the city center. Just few minutes from Vieux Lyon! Absolutely recommend it!

Fabulously located hotel close to the finest shopping and restaurant precinct in the glorious city of Lyon. We had a privilege room with a balcony which included a bath, coffee machine and soft drinks. The room was regularly and well serviced. Not far from two Metro stations and an easy walk to the old city.

Amazing but more than 20 euros for breakfast even though it was very good is faaaar too expensive!

Staff were super friendly, helpful and spoke good English. Rooms were clean although bathroom was quite small. Nice and warm in the cold weather. Express breakfast was reasonable value for money, being much cheaper than the buffet breakfast.

Very good location in the middle of Lyon city centre. Lots of restaurants nearby and not that far from subway station(s). Very close to old town as well - just a walking distance. Breakfast was not that superior but ok for me as coffee is usually more or less enough.

I asked for an iron before my check in and I found it in the room at my arrival. I was very happy about the fact the they listened my comments. The receptionist was very nice. And the hotel brand new. I really enjoyed staying at this hotel.

Great location, the old town of Lyon is just few minutes away, you just need to cross a bridge. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Rooms overlooking the street can be a bit noisy but the other rooms are really quiet. Staff is always friendly.

Cosy reception. Good hotel if you like to be located in the city centre close to all attractions! The old town is only a few minutes away by foot!

great location with boutique vibe. restaurants and shops within walking distance, the room is lovely. bathroom however needs a rethink as when you shower, water will splash all over the bathroom floor.

It was a nice experience,but the bed was not as comfortable as expected from a 4 star hotel. And they do not have enough parking spaces for the hotel guests.

Great location, friendly service, stayed for 3 nights with my girlfriend for my birthday. Unfortunately marred when charged for a bottle of wine we understood to be complimentary.

Well located hotel in the centre of the shopping area and close to many restaurants and old town. Large clean rooms. Friendly staff.

Cosy reception. Shower didn't have much pressure, and free bottle of water was missing from the room. I would give his hotel a 3 star only.

It is difficult to imagine a better located hotel for a visitor to Lyon. Walk west across the Saône and you are in the old town, a couple of blocks south and you are in Place Bellecour, two hundred meters northwest has you in a bustling restaurant and bar area, and right behind the hotel to the east is the main shopping district.

But in addition to this, the Mercure is a well-modernised, first rate hotel with excellent rooms (we had a superior, or 'Prestige', room, but the standard rooms would be a little smaller), super amenities (including a Nespresso coffee maker), comfortable beds and pillows, a terrific bathroom, and fast wifi connection. And all this in a major city centre for just €180 a night. Exceptional value.

The staff were helpful and welcoming, and while the breakfast was a bit steep at €18, it was adequate.
Parking round the block is available, but at no special rate, so quite expensive.

A toss up between 4 and 5 stars, but for the location, staff and room quality at this price point I have to give it a 5

This is not a luxury hotel, but it serves it's purpose perfectly. It is clean, the staff is cheery, helpful and courteous. The rooms are functional, but who spends time in a room in Lyon? This hotel is also fantastically located to access authentic Bouchon Lyonnais, shopping and a little nightlife. It is also a few minutes away from the Saône.

繁華街に近く便利です。
数回お邪魔してますが、便利なことは便利なので結構よいと思います。
あと、広場が見える部屋だとなんとなく街の雰囲気を感じ取ることができてLyonを感じてるっていう気にさせてくれるホテルですね。
