My husband and I have stayed here before, but we never knew about the top floor having balconies! That is a game changer being that I am a smoker but hate to smoke inside! (I couldn't smoke inside here even if I wanted to being that they are all 100% non smoking rooms in every single Staybridge Suites I've ever stayed at). A friend of ours was staying the night in one of their top floor rooms with 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms, and wow... Talk about space to spread out with! The bathroom on the master bedroom side is HUGE!! It's EASILY the biggest bathroom I have ever seen a hotel have in one of their rooms! There was a separate tub and shower as well as two separate sinks and just tons of space! Everything was very thoughtfully placed in it's rightful home in the room! We had a wonderful time here! The only reason I'm taking two stars off are for the people .... The staff here constantly has just the first attitudes!

Great hotel. We were so happy to move from holiday inn to here. The hotel is quiet at night. Great rooms with kitchens and living rooms. Free breakfast everyday if you don't want to cook. Social hour M-Wed with wine and beer to relax and meet others. If you book it right you can stay for 104.00 a night.

Friendly staff. About 15 minutes from Six Flags and 20 from Sea World. Neighborhood Wal-Mart is just around the corner and many restaurants a short walk away. Rooms were clean and included a fridge, dishwasher and stove in each room. The pool and hot tub were well maintained and included several propane grills for guests to use. I'd recommend this hotel and will probably stay here in future visits.

This hotel is great for Extended Stays. I'm in town for two weeks for work on Ft Sam. It's about a 15 minute drive to Ft Sam. Hotel is cleaner then other options nearby. Great amenities. Room has a living room and kitchen. Breakfast is very sufficient. Hotel offers a social with dinner and 3 drinks Mon-Wed night. Highly recommend for TDY

Amazing! I had a 2 queen bed suite with refrigerator, microwave and stove. Dishes included. The free breakfast daily and up to 3 drinks Monday through Wednesday with small quick bites was wonderful. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Within walking distance to the North Star mall. Workout room, laundry, and on-site little convenience store. The shuttle provided trips within a 2-mile-ish area. Free pickup from the airport or car rental place. For those in the military, it is a quick drive to FT Sam. Pool and jacuzzi. It’s a perfect place to stay!

Very comfortable 1 bedroom suite with 2 queen beds! Very clean, very spacious, great service, great kitchen great amenities such as free laundry but some people abuse it by using 3 washers at 1 go so maybe they should charge a token fee so it would be more fair to people who really really need to use it! Everything is great here! Love it here so much! The value is greater than the price! The breakfast is decent but it was too busy at 9-9.30 am. Maybe 7 am would be better! Totally recommended and we would be back!

Hands down the best hotel with a kitchen suite. The front office staff was very courteous and friendly and the rooms were tidy, clean and spacious. The kitchen was super clean with enough kitchen supplies. The highlight of my stay was the yummy hot free breakfast in the morning and the relaxing swimming pool. The location was just perfect. Overall a very satisfying stay and would definitely stay there on future visits to san antonio.

This place is awesome! Jeanie was wonderful, we had an issue at a different hotel & she let us check in early with no problem. Breakfast is wonderful, beds and pillows GREAT! Free washers and dryers.

I had a really great experience. I am always skeptical of cheap hotels, but I gave this one a try because of the ratings on expedia. I was not disappointed. My one criticism was the one everyone seemed to have. On a holiday weekend, there was no place to sit for breakfast. That said, all the rooms are suites, so we ate some downstairs and then brought the rest upstairs. The rooms were great for the price. The pool looked really nice (really busy, but again, holiday weekend). Breakfast was broad and delicious.

I stayed here for 2 weeks while on training. The hotel is clean, well maintained and easy access to shopping and food.

I would have given 4 stars due to some breakfast issues at first (due to our tight schedule and volume of people), but as soon as it was brought to the managers attention, it was fixed immediately. For that, they get my full 5 stars!

Good location, nice pool area, good bfast, kind of dated rooms. Had a two bedroom suite. One shower had the choice of scalding or freezing water. Never could get the thermostat to move from 71 degrees.

Ive only been here 1 night and I am impressed. Here on business for about 2 weeks! Shuttle picks you up from the airport, check-in was smooth, my room is a true suite room, full fridge, electric stove top, dishes, pots etc.., pool with hot tub, social hour 3 days a week w/ limited free alcoholic beverages, pantry, free laundry just buy your own detergent, walking distance to mall and several restaurants, shuttle on demand to several areas! Healthy and plentiful breakfast buffet options. I probably could go on...the only minor disappointment is this is a big hotel needs a bigger and more fitness/gym. The typical 1 treadmill, 1 elliptical, 1 bike, 1 bench with some weights. A lot of military (me) stay here and this is our staple for exercise so we tend to have to fight for time in the gym. Otherwise I would have given them 5 stars. If your not in need of exercise or dont care for the limit options this is definitely the place!

Breakfast is great, the pool area is pretty nice, and the rooms are dated, but nice. Employees are friendly and helpful. It's also very pet friendly. Solid 4 stars.

So far so good. The rooms look great and are huge, the pool is really clean and on the third floor which reduced the surrounding noise a lot. The internet is pretty fast for a hotel and hasn't dropped yet.

It's like a Candlewood Suites, but better. Like Candlewood and Holiday Inn Express had a baby. Extended stay and free breakfast... wait there's more. Manager's reception 3 nights a week...sweet!!! More free food and alcohol.

Me and my husband were here for TMEA (a Texas music convention) and the hotels were packed all around town.
Never once did we feel like we were an inconvenience, the hotel staff were very nice and friendly.

The bed was a little too firm for us but we adjusted! The breakfast was a little monotonous but that was really our only complaint!
Everything was so clean and organized!
We were here for 4 days and 3 nights so we got to see a lot of San Antonio.
This hotel is conveniently located and is very close to downtown!
We will stay again here when we come back to San Antonio!

Nice place to stay. Conveniently close to North Star Mall and the San Antonio Airport. Staff if very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very spacious and well kept. WiFi internet speeds was pretty good. I would definitely recommend this place.

Family oriented place to stay. Breakfast is good and reception at night (M-W). The reception is just a bit small.
Receptionist are very friendly and helpful. They make sure to fix any issues promptly.

Stayed here one night before an early morning flight the next day. Check-in was good and fast. My room was large and comfortable. They also have an evening free happy hour for 3 drinks per person and also food which was perfect. Used shuttle service next day to airport. Will definitely stay here again.

Good place to stay. Had a very hard time finding the place with Google maps, be sure you know where you are going. The room was clean and neat. The room temperature was cold and did not adjust well. Breakfast was also very busy. The important parts of a hotel room are there.

Returned to San Antonio to be with family for Christmas. With older kids, space to spread out is highly valuable to me. We stayed in a suite with two queen beds and a sofa bed. Beds were very comfortable and we slept well!
Kitchen facilities with full size refrigerator and microwave were very useful - my son appreciated the bag of popcorn each day. We were on the third floor and with three elevators in the hotel, I rarely had to wait long to get up and down. With a busy family weekend, I didn't get to take advantage of the heated pool or fitness center this time - but I visited both and they looked like nice areas.
The breakfast area had a nice mix of hot and cold items and was a good size space both in the serving area and the dining area.
Location was great between the airport and North Star Mall shopping area. Despite being up near Loop 410, the hotel was quiet and I didn't have any noise issues either from outside or other rooms.
Overall, I greatly enjoyed my stay here and look forward to booking it again the next time I'm in town.

The hotel is well maintained, has clean modern rooms, and comfortable beds. The food selection is fantastic with quality complimentary meals. Additionally, the staff was friendly and helpful. I would gladly stay here again and again.

Double queen bed suite was clean and comfortable. Check in was quick. WiFi was decent, 5 Mbps down. Breakfast was not stellar. Very easy access to restaurants, shopping mall, and airport.

The room quality and stay experience could be 5 star but they have insufficient parking space in the secure area. I arrived late and had to park in an unsecured area after midnight. Not happy.

I have really enjoyed staying here so far! The rooftop pool is beautiful and awesome! They also have a window in both the front and rear elevators! It's just nice to see out to that rooftop pool while you're riding up to your room! The rooms here are awesome as always! 100% cleaned to my very high standard! It's like being in a New York City style apartment, only these are bigger here! Haha! The Breakfast buffet and dinner social are both amaze-balls too! The only reason that I docked the one star is for customer service... By no means are they horribly rude anything, but they just don't seem to go above and beyond like the Staybridge Suites by Fiesta Texas! The location is pretty much THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING HERE!! Come on over and let's go shopping!

A great place to stay while working out of town. Close to most everything in San Antonio with easy access to the highways and close to the airport.

As a priority club member I am shocked I hadn't searched out this chain before! So not only didn't I have a very roomy comfortable stay. The Complimentary Breakfast and evening dinner with beer or wine was the tip of the iceberg! As my title states, depending on my length of stays in the future I will be searching out this chain. And the most amazing part is that this chain is within a $20 increase from my Holiday Inn Express I choose the most for stays.
Right next door is a STEAKhouse, it is less than five minutes from the airport. We visited downtown San Antonio, Alamo etc (about 20 minute drive).

Best Value I have come across this Year!

It's the Staybridge. You always know what to expect. It's the same in every city. Same quality, same rooms, and the friendly helpful employees.

Conveniently close to airport. Decent hot breakfast bar available and manager's reception. Bedroom a bit warmer than living / kitchen space as a/c is not in bedroom.

Great hotel and centrally located. They have breakfast and dinner (dinner mon,tues,wed only). Love this hotel. Friendly and excellent staff

It's a nice hotel. The breast buffet is a little lacking and our room smelled like cigarette smoke. But other than that so far been a great stay.

Not a lot of tables for guests at breakfast. They do have guests with dogs, that they put in rooms next to families. So you do hear barking.
I highly recommend this hotel if you need a hotel to stay at for a while (especially if you have a dog or dogs) rooms are like a mini Apartment with a living room, a kitchen and a bedroom +.

Rooms are a good size and quite reasonably priced. Pool doesn't have the greatest view, but that was to be expected after all. Airport shuttle is a plus too

My family recently stayed at The Staybridge Suites San Antonio-Airport while attending a family wedding. We toyed with staying at a Riverwalk hotel, but the prices and related expenses were a bit lofty, considering the number of family members in our party. I must say that the distance from the airport to the Riverwalk/Downtown area was miniscule considering all of the advantages of staying at the Staybridge Airport. The rates were extremely reasonable. The rooms were very, very clean and well-maintained. They were very roomy and spacious. We did not have to pay for parking (which was a big savings in and of itself as we had several vehicles to accommodate the family for 5 days). The free breakfast was a complete and hot breakfast with many choices. Above and beyond all of these advantages, the front desk staff, maintenance, and housekeeping were all phenomenal. The service began before we even arrived. We worked closely with Eddie on several occasions to ensure that our reservations were correct and that accommodations for a handicapped family member were in place. Not only were they all correct, we were provided with a brand new wheelchair to use for the entire time we were there. This place is definitely on my must return to list. You can't go wrong.

Love the service, love the nightly meals. Especially love the fast elevator. It closes, opens and travels fast. It's the little things.

Full kitchenette except for no oven. full fridge with icemaker, microwave and stovetop, dishwasher. 3rd floor rooftop pool with whirlpool. Several nice full size gas grills by pool. Canopy and lots of chairs and loungers. Many restarants withing walking distance.

The Staff is amazing, the rooms extremely comfortable and livable. Probably my most favorite Hotel I have stayed in.

I left a precious necklace there by accident. It was found and returned to me promptly. It's so good to know there are honest and upright people there. I'll return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a roomy space with a great location!

The location is great. You have access to 281 and 410, as well as North Star Mall and The Quarry are literally less than 5 minutes away. The rooms are clean and the service is great.

Very spacious room with everything you need! It felt like our very own one bedroom apartment! Very clean and well stocked. It is located in a great location! We walked to Pappadeux for dinner in heels! Nail salons, shopping, and great restaurants located near this hotel. The front desk guy was nice and signed us up for the rewards program. We will definitely come back to this hotel!

Awesome hotel. The staff is very friendly. The best part is on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday they have complimentary dinner. On Mondays they also have complimentary massages from a professional masseuse named Jimi Khoh-- they are amazing, this guy knows his stuff. The massage alone is enough reason to stay here!

It's a fine place to stay. Friendly and reasonably priced. No sign of bedbugs and generally seems pretty clean. There's a restaurant right next door, and an outdoor pool on the third floor. Free breakfast in the morning. Location and a few tiny nitpicks make me uncomfortable giving five stars, but I'd absolutely recommend it, especially for a budget minded traveler.

Everybody in town was sold out, and this place had the only room we found. It was a smoking room, which didn't smell too bad, but the person at the front desk didn't even offer a spray to get rid of the odor. The room as plenty roomy, clean, the beds were comfortable, the staff was friendly.

Clean Nice Hotel. Parking the the only complaint I have. I have been here multiple times and never been able to park in the secure parking. Rooms are clean and comfortable but the parking issue has me considering other hotels. Aside from the parking it is a great hotel.
