When for Sunday lunch, excellent food and service for a fair price. Would recommend.

had a lovely night in one off the family room's in the stables our little girl love it has she had her our freedom to run around while we sit in the patio and watch her all the staff where polite food was very nice and would highly recommend sturrips and i will be returning soon thankyou all

Lovely venue nice people

I can highly reccomend this hotel and also restaurant. Staff was very pleasant and helpfull with everything. Hotel is so clean and comfortable. And all food including breakfast was very decicious with top class service. I also appreciate good menu where everyone can choose from meat to vegetarian meals.

My daughters wedding was held here. The rooms were very clean and the the staff, friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend. For as a wedding venue but also if you would like a night out, meal and drinks.

I went for a family event and the service was great, all of the staff were friendly and also answered the queries we had about future events, the food for the event was also very nice and more than enough was provided. Overall it is a great place.

Very, very nice. Only been a couple of times but each time was geat. Top-notch food and interesting menu. Friendly and helpful staff. It's a bit more of a restaurant than a pub - I'd probably feel uncomfortable just drinking. Lovely big open fire, warm and pleasant. I'd definitely recommend - especially if you're stuck for a place to take friends who you don't want to disappoint.

Went here for lunch with friends round Christmas. Lots of parking and it's not too hard to find. The area we was given was spacious. The service started of fast but as the meal went on it got slower. Over all the price of the meal was average. The size of the servings was a little small but not too bad.

We had our wedding here only last week (28.07.17). The staff were amazing from the moment we enquired 2 years ago, right through to the end of our day. They paid attention to every detail, our Wedding Breakfast was amazing, as was the evening buffet. Jody, Dimi, Louise and all the other staff involved in our day, carried out all their tasks, without any interruptions to ourselves, our family & friends. All of our guests said how friendly and professional the staff were. Everyone that stayed overnight, had also said that their rooms were lovely and we all enjoyed the breakfast, the following morning. Overall, it was the perfect venue to hold our wedding and we both highly recommend visiting The Stirrups, to consider holding your wedding day or another function here. Thank you again team, you were amazing!

What a terrific place to hold a Wedding day. The people who conducted the service were very good; staff throughout the day worked hard and assisted so much; photographer was excellent, picking some ideal locations to take photos in the very pleasant outdoor areas; food was very tasty, not only during the main Wedding reception but also snacks beforehand and then hot and cold choices during the evening party time. The band that performed in the evening were excellent too, very professional and they sang and played so well. A wonderful day, enjoyed by all, in a perfect location that will be recommended to others!!

Our sons wedding was amazing at Stirrups. We have been to a wedding at Highclere Castle and Downton Abbey - which were beautiful but that said I wouldn't have changed a thing at Stirrups - the staff, the setting. The food were lovely. Wedding was simply gorgeous. They made the room look lovely. They made sure it went off really well ... the new annex was a great addition. Thanks a mil.

What a wonderful suprise. Having had an awful experience recently with a horrible hotel i wasn't expecting a lot, how I was wrong -lovely room, huge bed and a brilliant restaurant. Will definitely stay again when back in the area for business, even considering a family stay as it's 2 miles to legoland. The restaurant was a welcome break from the usual bar food. Excellent quality with a wide choice and helpful polite service to match.

We got married here on 3rd Dec 2016. It was such an amazing day, the hotel staff couldn't do enough to make our day as special as it was. Friendly, helpful, the day completely went without a hitch. Would recommend this hotel as a wedding venue to anyone!! If only we could do it all again...

Went to the Stirrups to look at function rooms. The staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful. However for the costs they were quoting unfortunately I found this over priced for the facilities they were providing.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food despite sounding small had large filling tasty portions. I would recommend it to anyone.

I booked the restaurant for our team Christmas dinner. I enjoyed all three courses but felt it was a little over-priced, particularly the drinks. The service was good, but there is a fixed service charge (i.e. tip) of 10% for parties of a certain size (10 I think) so be wary of this as it greatly increases the cost.

We visited Stirrups as a potential wedding venue. Unfortunately, we didn't get the feeling we were looking for. We had lunch to give it a bit of time to grow on us and we did have a very nice waiter called Matt, but my mothers food came to be a let down when we would have expected it to be perfect. Lovely gardens and venue, but it just wasn't right for us. Note: it wasn't too expensive at all.

The hotel is really very nice, rooms are clean and have a nice cozy feel to them. It's set in nice grounds with well looked after gardens and there is ample parking. I was at the hotel for a wedding and I have to say one of its best assets are the staff who are so friendly and welcoming and really do pay attention to the detail. The food that was laid on by the hotel was of a very good standard too. If you're considering having a wedding, this really is a great venue and would recommend it.

Beautiful hotel in peaceful surroundings. Large clean well appointed room, first class service in all departments. The food menu had an excellent selection of tempting dishes. That not only were presented beautifully but tasted superb . Excellent wine list also.

Nice hotel with Good food and nice gardens. Great location for Legoland.

Called in only on the off chance to have a look at the hotel for a potential wedding venue. No appointment and it was clear they were in the midst of planning for a wedding. However, all staff we spoke to were very helpful and the manager even came over to say hi. We didn't eat or drink but would certainly call in for a drink if passing.

The services provided by Stirrups staff for our wedding were faultless. Every aspect of the package was excellent from organisation, choice and quality of the food received universal approval from the guests and the gardens were spectacular.
The integration of the wedding elements in one place significantly increased the enjoyment of the event, with the general view was that it was one of the best weddings the guests had attended.

Dropped into Stirrups for a mid-week evening dinner with friends. Following drinks, a very good meal in the restaurant. Reasonable prices, and the service was very good.
(We also recently used the hotel for an offsite staff meeting using their function room, followed by a BBQ on the large patio area, overlooking the beautiful gardens.)
