Had a group of 42 and the set up was excellent, the meal was delicious and plentiful.
The service could not have been more professional, friendly and attentive. Definitely 5 Star.

This place never disappoints. I've come here for everything from a "just because" to an anniversary dinner. The only thing that surpasses the quality of the food, is the exemplary service.

If you are in the Saratoga Springs area and haven't been to Longfellows, dont delay. The interior of this old barn is transformed into a comfortable catacomb of warmth and great food. Whether you go for an event or for a charming night out, Longfellows always delivers.

Smells like smoked meat/ campfire inside. Not bad, but easily noticeable. Interesting building and if you have the money, great food and drinks. I will eat there again.

The Romance Package at the Inn is a real bargain! Champagne and chocolates waiting in our room, and a wonderful dinner. But bring a big appetite! The portions range from sumptuous to Brobdingnagian.

We are here on our "mini moon" for a quick getaway until our real honeymoon in November. Our waitress, Sarah, was knowledgeable, friendly and competent. We did the package at the inn which was very affordable and included a four course meal. The bacon artichoke dip and bacon wrapped prime rib skewers appetizers were amazing. Portions were decent. Food was brought out to us quickly. She even had a candle on my dessert for us to make a wish for our marriage. I'd come here again for sure!!

Purchased the romance package. Had a lovely, slow paced dinner at the restaurant. The hotel room rooms are wonderful. Spacious, clean, well appointed. Will absolutely do this again.

It was a good dinner on a regular Monday evening. A company of five. Everyone but me was happy with their meal. Couple negative notes for me were:
a barely warm New York strip steak, not even a luke warm. However to my surprise is was cooked as ordered.
- The piece of meat I had was not of a high quality meat. Chewy and with.
For the price, I have doubts to go there again.

Wow, what a gorgeous place! It is so amazing with perfectly maintained wood and exposed brick ceilings and walls. We had the burger and beer special. It was a delicious Kobe flame grilled burger with crispy bacon and cheese (that was one of the best burgers we've had in ages), fries, and beer or wine for $14. Servers were excellent too. We left very happy and researching their hotel. The only issue is there were no dining rooms available that did not involve stairs. Therefore it isn't a great option for those with mobility issues.

Came here for their Easter Buffet. It was absolutely delicious. I definitely recommend eating there. I loved everything!

Dinner was excellent, service was very good. Unfortunately we were seated on the ground level where there is a beautiful fireplace. However the smell of smoke was heavy, even after we left our clothes and coats smelled like burning wood.

Great service. Went for New year's Eve and great atmosphere. Dealt well with our young kids and their excitement. Service was great and for was excellent. Very fresh and no problems. Very accommodating. Love it every time we go.

We had a WONDERFUL stay at Thanksgiving at the Longfellows Inn! The staff was kind, professional and helpful. It was our first Thanksgiving without my dad, and on Thanksgiving we ate at the Inn's restaurant. In addition to the food being delicious and the staff being attentive, they gave us a "private" room to enjoy Thanksgiving amid the huge banquet hall where they accommodated their guests. Their thoughtfulness did not go unnoticed, and their compassion went a long way to making the day a wonderful memory in the latest of "new" normal holidays my family and I have to acclimate to. Our suite, at the Inn, was also spectacular! I had dreaded Thanksgiving, but as it turned out, my family and I made wonderful memories!! Thank you!

Excellent service by our waiter and the girl who kept up on our water - both were excellent. The food was also very well executed and we loved the whole experience.

This place is 5 star al the way. Why then do I give it 4? I feel the only thing lacking is the fitness center. 1 elliptical 2 treadmills. If that is all you need or you don't exercise it's a 5. Great rooms, restaurant is so upstate New York and the bar is warm and friendly

Went to Longfellows for our anniversary. We had drinks at the bar while we waited for our reservation. The bartenders were polite fast and very efficient. Once we got our table our waitress was wonderful and helpful with our dinner choices. The food was excellent and would highly recommend.

Just a short hop away from downtown Saratoga Springs, this hotel is perfect for those who appreciate a more historic, rustic feel. The dining hall is perfect for big events like a wedding, with a lively setting that includes an awesome koi pond. Highly recommended.

Was here for a wedding. Very unique with the room layouts. Was a bit of a maze trying to get around some areas. The food and service was very good.

I highly recommend this establishment . I proposed to my fiancee here last night . I called on wednesday and told them of my plan to propose . We arrived for our reservation and were brought up to a perfect set up . The food was amazing and the table on the bridge was perfect . She loved it and thankfully said Yes !!! The interior design of the restaurant is beautiful. My cousin had her wedding here. The catering was delicious. I've had dinner, also decent.

We spent one night at Longfellows while in town to see a band playing at SPAC. The whole experience was great!! The staff was friendly and the room with 2 Queens was very clean and comfortable. It was tastefully decorated and the bathroom was huge with a Jacuzzi style tub and stand up shower.

My wife and I were there for the romance package. The kings loft room leave nothing to be desired and, the dinner included is 5star! Second to none!

We were seated downstairs because of our lack of reservation. This is understandable. Unfortunately, I was seated in the direct air flow of the a.c. The service was standard. It was near the end of rush. The food came out perfect and within a reasonable period of time. The manager came to check up on guests which is nice.

Went for Easter buffet. The buffet had many wonderful options and amazing desserts. The service was very very good. A good experience. I would recommend this place. Service here seemed a bit better than sister restaurant the olde Brian inn.

Been coming here since I was a wee one. Sometimes the food is hit or miss, but the atmosphere is A+. Great fire in the fireplace in the winter, good drinks, and American fare will keep you coming back.

The moment you step foot into Longfellow's you are immediately transported to an amazing dining experience. Every table has its own unique appeal, and it's exciting to find out where you'll be each time. The ambiance is one of the best parts, as the indoor setting is unlike any other place around. The meals are also fantastic, with a wide array of choices that surely will satisfy everyone. Great place to go to after a day at the track, or a spend an evening with a loved one. They're also great for parties. You simply can't go wrong here!

Very Enjoyable Experience

The latest meal my wife and I ate at Longfellow's was very good. Our server was Nick and very attentive.

Longfellow's atmosphere is unique in the Saratoga-Capitol Region, especially nice on cold evenings as the aroma of wood fires fill the air.

Pricing is on the higher side and desserts are limited.

Longfellow's was not our first choice on the evening we dined there. The restaurant of our choosing was closed and several prior meals at Longfellow's were less than spectacular. I am glad we gave them another chance.

Did my wedding here. The food was great and accomodations were fantastic. The place is beautiful inside.

Restaurant - Food was good and portions are huge, service was subpar in the tavern. Bartender didn't provide water, refill wine glasses or ask how the meal was. He was too busy chatting it up with some female.
Hotel - It was better than expected for the rate. We were pleasantly suprised by the room, although the bedding could use an upgrade. Nice soaker tub with jets, mini-fridge and spacious.

I don't usually write reviews but I have to for Longfellow's because I really love this place. Every year, for the past 4 years, my wife and I have stayed for the weekend.for our anniversary. We've made it our annual tradition. We did it again this year for our 20th. Each year we purchase the relax package, which includes one night in the king loft room, dinner at Longfellows Resturant, two half hour messages, and Champange and chocolates in the room. You only pay separately for drinks, tips, and taxes. We also stay one regular nigh to make it a whole weekend. The relax package, I think costs about $350 per night. It's an amazing deal. You get a lot for your money. The king loft room is really sweet. It feels more like a super cool apartment with a jacuzzi tub than a hotel room. The Resturant is unbelievable. It's top notch, with high quality food, huge portions and wonderful, professional, courteous service. The staff in the hotel and the Resturant are really sweet people and they do a wonderful job. Everyone I've talked to here over the years, always say the same thing "I love my job. I love working here. The management is great" and so on. The staff is real happy and it shows, everywhere in everything about this place. I've never had a bad experience of any kind here. It's absolutely reliably wonderful so I will keep coming back. The two half hour messages we get are also really awesome and help make the whole experience even more relaxing and enjoyable. Longfellow's is a great place in a great town. It's right near Saratoga lake. It's a 2 minute drive to down town, but it has a very rural, woodsie kinda feel to it. Rustic yet classy and high end at the same time. On the regular night stay we get, usually Friday night, we go to eat dinner at the olde Bryan Inn Resturant in town. It's owned by the same people who own Longfellows so you can get 10% off your bill if you show them your room key. It's only about a 10 minute drive from the hotel and they will even drop you off and pick you up, so you don't have to drive or worry about parking. Plus the Olde Bryan Inn also has outside seating which is beautiful in the summer. The food there is every bit as good as Longfellows and we really love it. I can't say enough good things about both of the restaurants and the hotel. I highly recommend anyone go check them all out. Go for dinner, stay the night, or maybe even attend a wedding. You can't go wrong. Thank you to the owner and all of the wonderful staff who made sure we always have a great time. Thanks again and we will be back next year or sooner if we can.

I saw a promotion through Facebook for a romance package and thought I'd give it a shot. I purchased the package as a surprise for my girlfriend, and we couldn't have been happier that we did! From the moment we arrived, we felt special. As part of the package there was a chilled bottle of champagne waiting for us in our room, as well as some chocolate from a local shop. The room exceeded our expectations, and the included dinner right next door that night did not disappoint (I don't say this often, but the food really was amazing). We enjoyed a romantic experience that will be with us for quite some time, and we look forward to returning soon!

Service was thorough and the place was amazing.

Bought the romantic package deal for a one night stay, was about an extra $50 on top of the usual room rate. Included champagne in the room, and what ended up being a $100+ 4-course meal at the adjacent restaurant. Hotel itself was super nice, room was much bigger than I thought. Wish it hasn't rained so we could explore the trails through the woods in the back. Definitely would love to go back!

Great atmosphere! I thought it was a tad overpriced but the food was pretty tasty and presented well. I would recommend trying this place out if you never have before.
