Hotel well situated near the train stationand close to subway. Shopping mall across the street. Room clean and quiet. Bedding very good. Continental breakfast very good and varied. Service professional and friendly.

The neighborhood may not look very upscale but the hotel is very nice. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and the dining area is wonderful - the food is also delicious.
Bonus points for the underground parking, although very tight.

Great bar staff, very efficient and friendly. The price jumped from €139 to €180 per night so we moved on. Going to be pulled down soon to make way for huge redeveloping on Lyon Part Dieu station and surrounds.

It’s not good stay here because we drive the car so we need to find a hotel which has parking but because of construction of Lyon station they do not have it ! for breakfast 16.5€ it’s too expensive I recommend going out to Carrefour have a breakfast.

No slippers ! This hotel does'nt deserve 4 stars, a plain 3 star hotel. You fry your own egg, which is good

This hotel is next to the railway station and has a shopping mall in front of it, the room and the bathroom were quite good and well cleaned. Everything was going well (they even left to us a pack of kinder eggs because of the Easter) until I turn on the air conditioner and notice that it wasn't cooling the air. I called the reception desk and asked if the air conditioner wasn't working and I was told that it was ok, but I should wait about 5 minutes to it start cooling the air. So I took a shower and after that the room's temperature was still hot. I called the reception desk again and another person told me that the air conditioner was set only to heat and that the cooling function is available only during the summer. In other words, the hotel assumes that (out of the summer) is cold outside (the temperature reached 20° C during my stay), so is cold inside too and that everybody should be freezing, so it isn't necessary the cooling function of the air conditioner. Come on, the decision on whether the temperature is hot or cold must be left to the customers, as it is with the showers, taps and the foods, for example. I had to sleep with the windows partially opened (the curtains and the television don't let the windows be easily opened) to keep the temperature a little bit better, but as a result I started to hear all kind of noises coming from the outside (people talking; people screaming; luggages being pulled; police cars; ambulances; car's horns), so my sleep nights definitely weren't good. The problem is even bigger when it rains. I don't have complaints about the room, the bathroom and the cleanness, but disabling the cooling function of the air conditioner (despite of informing in all sites that the hotel has the air conditioner available, which is not true) and let the customers notice it when they try to use the air conditioner is totally unacceptable (I would have rated it with 5 stars if there wasn't this problem). I had terrible nights without sleeping because of the heat and I have never experienced such discomfort in any other hotel that I have stayed in before.

Quick stay was nice enough but the restaurant advertised on the menu available until mid night where in reality it was only 10:30pm resulting in extremely limited room service options.

Excellent place and service. The reception is at second floor which can be confusing but i recommend !

Nice Novotel Main desk is on the first floor. I find this always annoying.
