It's all about the location! Perfect down town spot that has everything Olympia has to offer. The main lobby is very homey!

It's a lovely hotel. The bistro is nice and the produce is fresh. The room was a fairly decent size, though the bathrooms are small. The pool was a great temperature for lounging in. It isn't entirely salt water, but there is no chlorine smell or taste. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. The only downside is that the beds are a bit firm for me.

We showed up super late and they had a night staff that was super helpful. Even got a cookie (not sure if that was part if the process but it happened). Rather pleasant stay. They also had an iHome I was able to connect my android to and play music. Overall I would recommend this place.

Definitely worth the stay, the staff is so friendly, the rooms are REALLY clean and the bed was Soo comfy. I am definitely going to have to invest in their comforters. I wasn't to hot or to cold.

My visit was for a work event/meeting. The staff was professional, friendly, and quick to respond to our needs. Also, the food they provided was fantastic!

Great location, minutes away walk to the public farmers market and several restaurants I'm downtown Olympia. Clean and cozy rooms, free parking, and a pretty good breakfast buffet.

Not a bad place to stay, it's just on the edge of downtown so you can avoid the craziness or walk a few blocks to enjoy it. The water is also in walking distance and there are plenty of restaurants and shopping.

I stayed here because I had seen that it has great ratings. I understand why. It's very clean and the staff was very professional and courteous. The breakfast was excellent as well.

Don't have a free breakfast, but do offer a good breakfast buffet for about $10. The rooms are clean. The fitness room is small and very crowded in the morning, so I ran at night when it was empty.

Attended the double tree hotel for a work conference. Amenities and staff were nice, the loud air conditioning wasn't. In the small room the noise was disruptive.

Our family loves this place and stay here every time we come to Olympia. It's walking distance to shops and restaurants downtown. The swimming pool, hot tub, and fitness room are things we use each time. The hand you warm chocolate chip cookies when you check in. In the summer time, it's fun to walk the boardwalk along the water looking at boats. The hotel is a couple blocks from the boardwalk.

It was super quiet - not sure if that was good insulation or empty hotel. Pool was great and open 24 hours. The stay wasn’t perfect but they did call after and make it right. I appreciated the family suite option.

Whenever I come to Olympia this is the hotel of choice for myself, friends and family.
-Location is perfect for walking and enjoying the Capitols waterfront, eateries, pubs, farmers market, activities.
-The staff is incredible and easy to talk with.
-The rooms are comfortable and welcoming.

My experience at Double Tree is consistently very good. I appreciate how the staff go out of their way to make sure that I am welcome, both by ensuring that I am comfortable, and by remembering my name.

Nice place. Clean comfortable beds, bath and room. Does not offer free breakfast. But does have in room fridge, microwave and coffee maker.

Fantastic location and reasonably priced. Close to downtown, plenty of restaurants and shopping. Rooms are nice, beds are comfortable and staff is very friendly. Plenty of parking too. Will definitely stay again.

Breakfast was good. The room layout I had was annoying though. The sink was out basically in the room and the light would shine right in the people in bed. Very annoying if one person needs it in the middle of the night.

Shower water kept being icy cold or burning hot, could not get it to be just nice and warm. Room cleaning worker knocked anyways even though the "do not bother" sign was up. Each room had an ihome clock / music player, so that part was nice.

The room was large, and clean. The bed was very comfortable.The downtown location was very convenient and there were good restaurants within walking distance and the area seemed safe enough to walk around at night despite some homeless population scattered about. For some reason each room had 2 tvs which was maybe unnecessary or a little awkward because the same remote controlled both sets. But again the room was really big with a little office nook. The buffet breakfast was good quality though it is not free for all guests (somehow my rate did include it.) My only real compliant is the tiered wireless. I think free good quality wireless should be standard by now and especially at an upper end hotel.

The downtown location is a plus The rooms are nice enough, In the shower, the water takes forever to heat up, barely gets hot enough, and there's low water pressure. The staff was nice enough but a little stiff. Overall there was nothing wrong with it, but also nothing special

Hotel was clean, staff was courteous and friendly and helpful. Beds comfortable. Be aware that breakfast is not complementary with every room rate, and if purchased separately is a poor value.

Best place to stay when visiting Olympia. You can walk the scenic boardwalk ti eirher downtown or to the farmers market/port. Its clean, quiet and ha e a good breakfast.

Very nice place with a limited restaurant. Service was good although the bathrooms were not cleaned very well.

We stayed here last Feb for a two day vacation, and couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. The staff were wonderful, the cookies were warm and the room was immaculate. We enjoyed the pool and Jacuzzi also. The location was great allowing us nice walks on the boardwalk, great views and easy access to downtown.

Have stayed there several times. The staff have been very friendly and helpful. They have a small kitchen for basic meals, staffed with friendly and helpful folks. Hotel room has always been clean, housekeeping staff also friendly and helpful.

Location location location.....if you want a hotel near Percival Landing that is clean and well run, this is it. Breakfast is more than decent and the rooms fresh and comfortable. Parking is free but the lot striping is a bit narrow. Front Desk staff was crisp and efficient both checking in and out.

Great hotel staff. Room was lovely & comfy. Parking lot was full, so took chances with parking meter on the street.

Friendly service, great food and drink (try their fantastic Reuben sandwich...it's especially good with extra meat). The top floor corner suites are a worthwhile upgrade...especially the ones on the west side, with views of Budd Inlet and the marina). Plus, they have a salt water pool and whirlpool spa that's open 24/7. This sweet hotel is also smack-dab in a terrific location... walking distance to everything that's worth seeing in DT Olympia (like the Farmer's Market, Thursday through Sunday). Why stay anywhere else?

Great location, close to the harbor and downtown. There are so many beautiful places to walk and so many great little cafes and shops to visit. If you like to take beautiful, relaxing walks or long jogs, you'll love the parks and jogging/walking trails close to the hotel.
The staff is very friendly and helpful and the rooms a good sized and very clean and functional. Definitely where I prefer to stay when I'm in Olympia.

Nice downstairs lounge area. Oddly weak water pressure in the shower. Decently clean room. The location should be convenient to the water, but is still a fair bit away- don't expect a great view. Acceptable overall.

Clean, great location, quiet and the front desk staff were excellent. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms fairly large. They have a really nice exercise room as well as a pool and jacuzzi. The only reason I am giving it a 4 is because their equipment/technology needs a little updating. The TV remote was super glitchy and often we couldn't change the channels. Also, some of the charging adaptors on the lights did not work so we had to take turns charging our electronics.

The hotel and staff are nice. The room was nicely appointed. Three stars because I could hear the person above us walking across the floor.

Original desk attendant was a bit crass to us and other guests in the waiting area. The stay itself was great. The attendant the next day was absolutely great. I forgot a gift in the room and it was still there and they held it for me.

Very nice people, rooms and food. The beds were very soft and the kids loved the indoor pool.

The hotel is older and shows a little wear. Overall it's a great place to stay. Located within walking distance of some really good non-chain restaurants. The rooms were clean and the hotel staff was very, very friendly.

I have stayed at a few different Doubletree locations, and have always found the staff to be very friendly, the rooms to be well kept and clean. Over all enjoyable stays and I am happy to keep returning.

I liked that parking was free with lots of open spots. At the reception, checking was easy, quick and the staff was very friendly. Our room was nice and cozy. We used the pool and hot tub whirlpool which were really nice.

This was a lovely hotel that offered A FREE COOKIE on check in. That's a win in my book. Also we walked everywhere we wanted to go, so its in a good location

We got to the hotel several hours before check in time but were able to get the room early. There front desk people were professional and courteous. Everything was awesome

Expedia would not publish my review so I won't book through them again So here it is.
Room 349 is above pump air conditioning, or a test bench for 747 engines. The noise hummed and pulsed through the room. Okay it was a low level noise but I like a quiet room, and I couldn't open a window for fresh air as the noise stopped that from being possible. Don't let this hotel put you in 349. Room 249 must have been in hell. I want my money back. Best book direct next time as I am convinced that there are "The Expedia Rooms" which suck.

I called and made a reservation when I was about half an hour away, as I realized I would need to stop for the night. When I arrived, the front desk clerk had no record of my call, but I got an amazing room anyway. The room service was very friendly and prompt. The beds are fantastic and the showers are great

Super friendly staff. Grab an apple on the way up to your room. Late night and afternoon happy hour in lounge 25% off all items, including adult beverages. Hotel also has a saltwater pool and jacuzzi. Excellent restaurants within walking distance.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The only complaint was the strong fragrance in the room. It lingered even through the checkout time. Service was fine. Location was perfect for us.

Nice location. easy to get to. great restaurant (Budd Bay) next door. Also right next to Olympia seafood store. room was nice and clean. I eould probably stay here again BUT I couldn't adjust the heater so I just unplugged it. No complimentary brkfast here. The brkfast buffet not worth $10 they charge. Fruit was off tasting and "fluffy" scrambled eggs were rubbery. Find a nice cafe for brkfast. if you're a light sleeper beware the room walls are on the thin side.

And I would recommend them to any relatives or friends visiting pur capital city.

We stay here every year for the Olympia Pub Crawl and I have stayed for lobbying work during the regular session. It is in a wonderful location with in walking or bus distance to everything including the water. There is a free shuttle that runs from the Farmers Market all the way up to the Capital Building.

The beds are so comfy!! The breakfast is yummy and always well stocked. We really like the fact that they are accommodating to late check outs and do there best to get us into a room early if notified ahead of time.

Staff is super friendly and always willing to answer any questions you might have. This is a very popular place to stay and is booked solid a lot of the time but they work hard to not make it feel that way. This means the management knows just the right amount of staff to have on duty and that is great!

If you need to stay in downtown Olympia this is the place to be.

Stayed for Pub Crawl #6 this weekend 8/8/14-8/10/14 and everything is still great! Love the 24 hour hot tub! Rooms are very clean and warm.

This year for the first time we had the Hilton add on options and so we had chocolate covered strawberries, a glass of wine for me and a beer for my husband waiting for us at check in! What a fun way to add pop to our mini vacation :)
