My sister and I booked a room at the last minute and they were able to accommodate us. The people at the receptionist desk are very friendly. The room was very clean and looked amazing.

We stayed here at the end of our New England vacation before flying out of Boston the following morning. This was a great place to stay close to the airport. I was a little surprised that they don't offer an airport shuttle, but we just ended up taking our rental car instead. This experience was much better than the Holiday Inn Express we stayed at in Saugus at the beginning of our vacation after flying into Boston.

Got a great Saturday night rate and am beyond happy with my choice. The room, while on the smaller side, was comfortable and clean. The bed was comfy and the location (easy access to Lechmere and from then on into Boston) unbeatable. But no review would be compete with out mention of the staff.

Dana at the front desk was welcoming from the moment I arrived. She made me feel special and accommodated my every request. If first impressions are the make or break, she made it, hands down.

All in all, a definite recommendation.

I would recommend this hotel for a business trip or quick visit. I had a good experience with the WiFi. The breakfast choices are pretty standard continental fare. I liked that the plastic utensils were compostable. The bed was comfortable and the rooms were well-maintained. My negatives we're that the entrance was a little hard to notice from the street and parking had an additional daily fee.

Clean rooms, comfy beds, helpful staff! We went to a neighborhood restaurant at the suggestion of the front desk. We were not disappointed!!

Basic hotel for work. Rooms are spacious enough. Amenities and facilities all there. But building and furniture are a bit old. Breakfast typically includes both cold and hot options. Close to Cambridgeside galleria. Nothing fancy, but gets the job done.

First impressions of this hotel are very good. My room is very comfortable and has plenty of facilities (the usual coffee machine, microwave oven, tv, etc.

Wonderful place to spend the night prior to the start of a cruise. It is close to the cruise terminal and has plenty of places to eat. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly and extremely helpful.

I'm a frequent business travler and cannot say enough good things about the customer service at this hotel! Check in was quick and easy. Room was up to date and very clean. Bed was very comfortable. They were extremely helpful giving dining recommendations and went the extra mile to make sure I had a comfortable stay. Dana is the best! Thank you so much for the breakfast sandwich before my early flight. Will definitely stay here again when I am in the area!

Night service counter clerk was great she was very helpful. People cleaning during the day were talking very loud & at 8 am I kept waking up to them banging the vacuum against everything in the room next door.

I travel frequently all over North America using the Holiday Inn everywhere, so expectations are pretty high for a $300+/night room. The staff was great and the rooms were clean. The bed on the other hand was pretty bad. It was hard and definitely seen better days, not comfortable at all. The location, although close to downtown didn’t have much to offer.

Thermostat is way off, hot water comes and goes. Good location, many places to walk to. No on-site fitness center but they have a membership at Ever Fitness.

The service was good and the rooms were pretty decent. The heat/ac was noisy and didn't work very well. The breakfast was what you'd expect for a free one.

My brother stayed here while visiting so spent some time coming and going. Staff was super friendly and location can’t be beat.

While parking lot was small, I always had a spot for an oversized Ford E350 passenger van. Breakfast was great (and free!). Had refrigerator and microwave for quick snacks. Staff was friendly and very accommodating.

Room was clean when I got there and spacious. I liked having 2 separate areas a living and sleeping. The Wi-Fi was also strong even up on the 8th floor end of the hall where I was. Breackfast was also exspancive with lots of selection with a good coffee which to me is key. Parking is 30 a night unadvertised but the girl waved my 3 nights to 2 nights which I appreciated. Would stay here again next time I'm in Boston.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Not a bad location. Everything else was what you would expect from HI express in a good way. I will stay there again. Comes with free breakfast.

Room wasn't ready when we arrived at 3:15 for 3:00 check inbut they were able to find another. Stayed in a king bed room, clean and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was very good!

The hotel was nice. Breakfast was ehh. We spent two nights and two days there. The hot water was shut off for a couple hours at one point, but that was fine; they gave us notice. I wish they had a dinning hall though. Delivery was a lot.

The suite we stayed at was clean and nice with fairly new looking furniture. The service was great and the reception was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Decent rooms, friendly staff, free breakfast. Parking is a bit of a challenge at times and there is a daily cost. Near shopping center and good restaurants very close by. Rooms are spacious and very clean.

Staff is very nice to let us park at the free spots across the street( car wash parking lot) . And I love the the features that hotel cable TV has some Mandarin programs . Also the interior of hotel rooms has some Asian decor.

They were super friendly and accommodating. I had to stay because I was doing some late night maintenance and need to recharge so I would be aware during the work and they made it super easy and we're very nice.

Great location, 5 min walking from metro station and 10 min from sciense musiem. Big rooms. I didn't like matress -too soft for me. Variety of pillows are good . Also dreakfast is ok. Not something reach, but usual eggs with bacon. Purchased it through sale on Expedia, but even with sale after taxes it become almost 250 per night. I think it too high for what I received

Parking overnight for $30 is a rip off for its location. Breakfast that was provided was frozen overnight and did not taste good.

If I could give this hotel 10 stars, I would. We were stranded in Boston after United cancelled our flight and refused to rebook before two days later. The hotel staff and manager accommodated us with excellence, and even more uniquely, with thoughtful kindness. We had 12 heavy suitcases/duffel bags, which they helped us carry (refusing a tip), store during our stay, and carry back to the curb upon our exit. Brian, the manager, has that rare true-service attitude that shines through genuinely in action, and truly eased our path this week. Many thanks to Brian and Fatima, at the front desk, for wonderful and humane service in trying circumstances.

Room was nicely furnished and clean, breakfast was good, staff friendly and helpful. Best of all, when I got home I realized an accounting error that was my fault, but still they made it right in only minutes. Thanks, Fatima, and the rest of the HIE Cambridge team!

Not very far from the T, really nice staff, big rooms, clean, quiet, great breakfast, reasonable prices.

This Holiday​ Inn Express is within 5 minutes walk of a green line train. The parking here is steep at $30 a night. The most expensive I've ever encountered at an IHG property. Pros: clean rooms and friendly staff. Cons: no pool, double beds instead of queens, tiny parking spaces in the very expensive lot.

Room was great. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Didn't like having pay $30 for a one night parking permit

Not the prettiest location, but convenient stay after a late night arrival from Logan. Only planned on one night here, but after my back went out, we stayed another night and they moved us to a handicapped room which was extremely convenient.

It is under renovations, so maybe when it is done it will be better. The wifi speed was abysmal, 1.4Mbs download and .5Mbs upload. The beds were fluffy but hard, neither my self nor my guest found them comfortable. The pillows were fantastic. The breakfast was somewhat usual, except no biscuits. It was clean and the staff was attentive. The price for Boston was good but not great.

5 min walk from Lechmere subway station. King-sized room is large with smallish bathroom. Staff is friendly and there are some really good baked cookies in the lobby to nourish you at all hours.

It's a bit out of of the main area, so it's a bit of a walk to get to where you probably need to be. I had no issues walking back and forth to MIT and surrounding area and believe Harvard would have been doable, too. The accommodations are as expected. The desk clerks were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were well maintained and clean.

Couldn't get AC to work. Big room with amenities. Location was close walk to Lechmere T-station that connected to Boston. Allowed me to easily get into city for concert, and to make it back late at night easily. Staff were nice, quick, and helpful.

Very clean, recent upgrades, rooms with microwaves and fridges made for a comfortable stay. The free parking in Boston is a huge plus but the lack of delivering enough parking spaces was a problem. They offered additional parking across the street in an abandoned poorly lit parking lot. The Free breakfast was pretty basic. Would recommend replacing the rubbery pancake maker with a Belgian waffle maker and better tasting batter! All in all, very good.

It's a decent hotel. Not too far from some of these tourist attractions, MIT is about a 5 drive from here. There is also a shopping plaza well within walking distance which is really convenient. Room is ok, they do have the AC turned up to freezing when you first walk in, also make sure you clean out the iron, had some mineral deposits on mine that almost ruin one of my shirts. Besides that decent hotel, didn't spend too much time in the room. Oh and they do a free breakfast as well, so convenience points for that.

Simple, effectvie business and leisure hotel. Big rooms equipped with fridge and microwave are great esp if traveling with family. Friendly staff. All basic amenities covered. Near Lechmere station. 15 mins walk to Cambridge side Galleria mall. 20 mins walk to Kendall square area.

I stayed at this hotel back in June 2013. The hotel has excellant beds and the room is pretty clean. There are also old houses across the street from it. The hotel is excellant but it is a little expensive to stay here compared to what you may see in major cities. I liked that the hotel has free breakfast that you can have. Only stayed here for one night.

The roOm is nicely equipped and it has a free parking lot. But, it is next to highway and the window does not isolate sound well -- it is pretty noisy at night so it is hard to get a good sleep.
