Great location. Very friendly and hard working staff. My room was very small and very hot, even at night.

It's peaceful, in walking distance to the casinos, shopping, restaurants and the staff is courteous and goes out of their way to accommodate your needs

Unassuming on the outside, updated, cozy and clean on the inside, our first stay at Stardust was wonderful. Right in the middle of the South Tahoe action, we had wonderful options for food, entertainment, and access to natural areas. Can’t wait to come back!

Great after renovation - awesome location too. One of the best locations in South Lake Tahoe. A short walk to gondola and skiing is very hard to beat. Very polite service, well-maintained rooms and such.

This resort pits customers first! A warm welcome at the front desk with a full rundown of there amenities. The exterior looks old and rustic, fitting for the area, but there interiors are all updated and modern. Cozy and relaxing. Special requests are there specialty and pet friendly doesn't begin to describe there accommodation toward pets. Please register you furry friend, to avoid later confusion. Register through RCI to get even more perks! The Stardust Lodge is at the center of a very lively area in Tahoe, but is tucked away in its own little cozy pocket. Truly a gem hiding in plane site!

Well maintained and recently renovated; the Stardust Lodge is right in the center of South Lake Tahoe Across the street from Heavenly ski.lift and shopping center and next door to the newest Tahoe shopping complex. The staff treats guests like visiting friends with going beyond requirements amenities and service. It is not pretentious but it is an ideal base for a Tahoe adventure.

Great place. Continental breakfast every morning. Close to state line for your gambling pleasure. Across the street from Heavenly ski lift. Of course, all what Lake Tahoe has to offer in your backyard.

We spent the 4th of July week there and as always we were treated like family!!! Breakfast every morning, free bicycles, free movies and lots of activities for kids and adults. The resort staff were awesome and Kinney the resort manager is attentive and committed for you and family to have a great vacation. Home away from home!!!

The Star Dust is a small hotel with mini kitchenette, weight room, 2 pools, laundry room and continental breakfast served every morning from 7-9 a.m. This hotel does not have a/c. The staff are very friendly and informative of your shopping needs and restaurants.the hotel in located in the center of Heavenly. There are many activities available from bicycling to hiking. The Gondola's aerial tram brings you to the top of Granite Mountain where it offers many activities for families with young children. And, if you are adventurous, there is zip lining! If you are not acclimated, hiking will take your Breath away!

Beautiful setting, nice comfortable rooms, great pool, close to local shops. We had fun using bikes available to long bike path to the lake.

Well maintained facility with attention to detail. Attentive staff. Comfortable bed. Great location right in center of town. Offers numerous free activities including nice daily breakfast, bicycles to use around town, chairs and umbrellas to use at the beach (which is a short walk). The one bedroom is very nice, but on the small side fitting a little more than the queen size bed itself. The 2 bedroom is spacious.

Great rooms with kitchenette. Pool, hot tub, bikes, weight room, laundry, activities for kids and adults. Free private beach access.

Small place (me and my dad got a bedroom with a sofa-bed type thing), but great location, and good price. We just walked for a minute every day to the heavenly resort, and got to enjoy the ski days quite well!

The best thing about this place is it's location. It's in a great spot right across the street from the Heavenly gondola, we could walk to everything. The room and staff were nice.

I've been an owner here for 19 years. It is the best place, like a 2nd home and you're always treated like family.

One of the best places to stay in town, especially during winter sport season. Sorry friendly staff. Only downside: breakfast is terrible. Worst donuts ever.

Good location right across the gandola. Rooms are outdated and small. Parking is limited. If hotel is full you might not find a spot even though you're supposed to have one with your room. Breakfast is nothing special.

This place was amazing knowing what was offered in my suite. I was in the penthouse and it came with hot tub, great view, living room kitchen 3 bathrooms and two bedrooms. Place also offered free breakfast and free gym

The rooms are quaint and comfortable, and you are in the midst of everything. Had the rooms been more modern, it would have been 5-star across the board.

We stayed in an efficiency. Bathroom was nice - even double shower. Large refrigerator, coffee maker, blender, dishwasher, microwave. A lot of drawers for storage. 2 hot tubs, 2 pools, fitness center. Very clean and looks well maintained. Sufficient parking. Glad we picked it.

Stardust Lodge is a friendly place right on the main street. It's close to great restaurants and walking distance from Harrah, Harvey, Montbleu, and Hard Rock Casinos. There's breakfast every morning-nothing fancy but great coffee. Special dinners during the week, free bicycle rentals, free laundry room, craft projects-every basic is here. It's just a good place to spend a vacay whether your thing is swimming or the hot tub or shopping or the casinos. We've come for the last 6 years with our adult children joining in as they could get away. Summer wouldn't feel right if it didn't end at Stardust

Stardust is centrally located in South Tahoe with easy beach access in walking distance of the hotel. They provide bicycles to borrow, have a pool and hot tub, an exercise area, and games. They offer a basic continental breakfast and mini kitchens with full refrigerator. Ours has a master bedroom and a pull out in the living room couch. The space is conservative, but enough for four. Only one bathroom, but the shower/toilet room is separate from the sink washup area.

We come up every year to our timeshare. The rooms are comfortable for four (there are larger rooms, and possibly studios as well, but we always stay in a four). One bathroom, a small kitchen (cooktop, microwave, full refrigerator, dishwasher and sink), one room with king-size bed and a queen-size sofa bed in the outer room. Quite a bit of storage space. The sofa bed has an inflatable mattress and is quite comfortable. Small breakfast - eggs, bananas, pastries, coffee and tea, cold cereal - every morning; a group meal almost every night (3-4 nights a week). An activity or two, ranging from tie dye to a several-mile bike ride, every day. Bikes are available for rent. Two hot tubs and a pool, and beach access (get a pass and towels at the front desk). There's a lot to do, and it's a comfortable place to stay.

The room we stayed in was very nice! The interior had sort if a cabin theme and was very cozy. Everything was very clean inside and out, and the staff that i encountered were friendly. The one thing that drops my score down to 3 stars is the lack of air conditioning. Even with the provided 2 ceiling fans and 3 tower fans on full blast, it got sweltering to the point that one of my friends in the room ended up sleeping in his car. Needless to say, none of us got a very restful night of sleep.

Great little hotel, hot tub is nice after a ski. Like the kitchenette setup in the rooms. Had a bit of a misunderstanding with them on a cancelled reservation, but they offered a credit for later, which I used and will be back!

Rooms were better then what we expected. Located pretty close to everything. Pools were warm and well taken care of as well.

Location is awesome. Grounds are well kept. Receptionists were not very pleasant. Parking and rooms share one thing in common: tight spaces and not enough of them. We stayed in 423 and they have done a grrat job remodeling...only draw back is they don't have ac which made it unbearable in june and july.

Very cute and cozy inside! We had the studio so it was perfect for a couple. Smaller than we thought it would be but enough space for 2 people. Extremely close to the gondola so it was easy to quickly go up the mountain in the mornings

Was a perfect location for us since we are skiers since it is across the street from the heavenly valley gondola. We had many choice of eating places and 4 Major casinos are only 2 blocks away. Hands down the best staff around! The resort is so family friendly, with their year round swimming pool, awesome bbq area, and tons of activities that the staff put on. Kenny and his crew (Jennifer is awesome) have helped my family make great Tahoe memories. It's our favorite spot to reserve for a weekend or a week in South Shore.

We had a very nice stay. Great location and walking distance to everything you need. Emely and Jenny were extremely helpful and attentive. Room was a bit small but nice and the double headed shower was a nice addition. Kitchen is well appointed and has everything you need. We hope to return.

Rooms are pretty nice considering the vintage vibe. Fun place to stay for Snow Globe, close to the hesvenly gondola.

It's a nice place - my parents have a timeshare there, we've been going for years. The decorations are a bit fussy, but the beds (including the sofa beds) are quite comfortable, the bathrooms and (mini) kitchen work well, and it's nicely located near but not at Heavenly and the casinos. If you're staying, there are activities nearly every day; there are also bikes to rent, DVDs ditto, a decent exercise room, two (small) pools and two hot tubs.

Office staff were very friendly and helpful. Studio was clean. Bed hard as a rock. Bathroom newly remodeled and nice. Breakfast was sparce. I would use again if the bed didn't kill my back.

Rooms were clean and quiet. Staff members were accommodating and friendly. They have little events going on everyday and as a result, I've gotten to know and enjoy many of the other guests despite usually preferring to keep to myself. My only complaint would be the layout of the room. It's small, which I expected, but if you open the bedroom door, it blocks the living room TV (a sliding door might be more practical) and its no easy task to open the fridge door wide enough to adjust the shelves without practically rearranging the whole room. Little things like that make it hard to focus on the charm of the room sometimes. Overall, I would recommend stardust to others.

Great location, but rooms were very basic and pull out couch not great. Wi-Fi password was not given as part of late night check out. Parking was tough at times. Breakfast was minimal. Expected more for$200+ per night.

Went here in 2013 awesome staff, kind enough to play ping pong with me, when I was there. Rooms are awesome. Have hot cocoa that is free, 2 swimming pools. Great location to! Have kids activity's every day! You can watch movies, and roast marshmallows. Very great place for kids! Whent here again in 2016! Even better stay! Great activities staff and staff otherwhys! I would recommend for ANYONE with or without kids!

My parents stayed here for a birthday trip for my mom. They were charged for a two room site when they booked even though they reserved a one room, but there staff caught it when they checked in. It was super cute, really well maintained, multiple pools, and excellent staff, plus it is walking distance to great stuff in South lake Tahoe: great central location!!

Young staff was helpful and courteous. That is where the good ends. Don't stay here unless you want to wake up at 6 am to construction on the "luxury condos" next door. The planned activities are limited and boring. Boxed wine and wheathins. Certainly not worth the money. Location is good, but for the money you can do much better.

Vibrant, sincere, caring staff. Excellent facilities. Park your car, never have to move. Walk everywhere. Quarter mile from their own private beach access. Free bike rentals, magnificent warm pools and hot tubs, all season long.

The staff is so nice and always willing to help you make the best of your stay in Tahoe. Whether you are planning to see the beauty if the town or veg in the hotel, the Stardust accommodates you with coupons, information and family friendly events hosted at the lodge. The location is the perfect distance from both the private beach and starting.

Everything was lovely, the twin shower heads, Murphy bed, everything except the number of fans in the room to make up for the lack of AC. Thanks for the memories. We will return as soon as the snow begins to fall. Thank you Jenny you were great.
