This is an excellent Resort good for conferences but not close to really anything else around the Orlando area. The amenities are very nice there is a gym but there is also a store that sells gym clothes in case you don't have any and it's very expensive this is to Resorts connected as one, and the service and food and everything else is very nice be wary of the fact that housekeepers put chocolate on the bed as I went to sleep with chocolate in the bed two times and had to get the sheets replaced twice. It looks like a very unfortunate accident but I made sure to leave a note saying that it was because there was chocolate in the bed that it look like that.

Not a bad hotel but it is quite dated in terms of room decor. Luckily they seem to be doing some renovations to modernize it. I would definitely recommend staying here if you do not want to stay directly at the parks. Cleanliness was on par with most hotels but not quite as nice compared to other Ritz Carlton properties I have stayed in Europe and Canada. Very good dining options for any type of meal you would like to have.

The Ritz-Carlton Orlando was outstanding in every regard. Warm, friendly welcome upon check-in. Professional, polished staff who make every effort to exceed expectations. Hand written notes in the room for the arrival and another one from the concierge a day later. We stayed with them to celebrate our wedding anniversary and they sent up a beautiful picture frame and assortment of chocolates as gifts to help us commemorate the occasion. We also booked the club level so we didn’t need to leave the property. Food and drinks were excellent. They pay attention to every detail and I can without reservation, recommended this Ritz to anyone looking for a hotel in Orlando. Very impressive indeed!

I have to say my stay at the Ritz Carlton was very enjoyable and pleasant. From the first day everyone that we encountered was informative and willing to help. The rooms were well kept and very clean. In addition, the the staff in charge of our room service needs were very helpful in assisting us throughout our entire stay. Everything and everyone at the hotel was welcoming and I felt very comfortable throughout my whole stay. However, I encountered only one troubling situation and that was on my last day when the keys to my rental car were misplaced. This caused a bit of an issue for me and my family given we had to be at the airport that same day. Despite the circumstances it was encouraging to see the support and urgency the hotel staff demonstrated in helping us resolve the situation. Regardless of this one setback I would still highly recommend staying at this hotel for the positive ambiance and hard working staff who are willing to help you along your stay.

Used to be 5 star service. Some retraining of younger staff would be a good idea. The oldie Goldie employees are still stars. I preferred the previous style, too. But the more contemporary remodel is nice though not as warm and welcoming as before. The new style is active and never stops and in The good old days the hotel was more of a respite. But still gorgeous property and STILL one of our favorites

We had the tasting menu. Food was great and the ambiance too. We loved the pork belly, the lobster and the aged steak. Super delicious. The combinations of flavour are unique and tastes delightfully different. We shall definitely be back for more.x

This was a convenient, classy and comfortable hotel. They also offered complimentary shuttle to the theme parks which was helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The management staff was especially help. Adel greeted us and checked on during our stay to ensure we had a fabulous time.

The guest rooms were plush and extravagant. Usually my first night away from home; I toss and turn but not here. I was at the Ritz for a conference. My complaint is with the food. I don’t think it even deserves 1 star. CHANGE TOUR CHEF! The desserts were good ; but last night’s pot roast was the “crown” of an awful weekend of food! Flavorless, over cooked, hard to cut. You should be ashamed!!!!!!!

Stayed here two nights, loved all the little amenities in the rooms and my view of Orlando. The hotel staff and housekeeping ladies were extraordinarily pleasant. Event coordinators are tip-top excellent and accommodating. Buffet-style dining for events for the ballrooms was absolutely delectable. Only stipulation would be that the rooms and areas of events on day 1 were a bit muggy and humid, as confirmed with several other people attending the event; and there was an ongoing loud rattling sound in the bathroom of my room. Other than those two cons, it is everything you'd expect from a Ritz.

This place was amazing! Every single team member from the valet to the maids to the front desk, even the ladies in the cafe and bartenders were so polite and courteous. They made my family and I feel so welcome. It’s places like this that make you not want to return home! It was a pleasure to experience this place! Thank you to everyone who treated us like royalty!

This place has all the amenities you could possibly think of plus a few extra. The location is not ideal but it's as good as it gets if you're visiting Orlando and want to stay at a nice hotel. The rooms are very spacious and have a great view as expected. Service at all the restaurants, fitness center, and reception desk was excellent. The staff really go above and beyond to help you with whatever you need. I really enjoyed all of the equipment at the fitness center and they even have fitness classes you can take. The pool is great and the JW Marriott next door even has a 'lazy river' you can use. There are many conference rooms as the hotel is generally used to host conferences for big companies.

Everything one would expect from a 5 star hotel. The staff goes well beyond the call of duty to ensure that each guest is treated like royalty. Spacious rooms and suites, and amazing amenities including a pool, spa service, and a variety of restaurants. I highly recommend this location for singles, couples and families. I don't want to check out!

Everything about this place is first class. The entire staff was extremely friendly and accommodating always with big smiles and a willingness to go the extra mile. The breakfast cheif Donna was especially nice and kind. The food was fresh and everything I tried was absolutely fantastic. The gym has everything you would need with all new equipment. The overall experience was top notch! I’m definitely coming back next time I’m in Orlando.

Enjoyed my stay! Great hospitality from staff. Everyone was always eager to help. Beautiful facility, even during construction 😊 Had good food from the H and H restaurant , our waiter was very helpful and enthusiastic. Breakfast buffet by the hotel was scrumptious. Room service was great, seeing to it all our needs were met.

This Hotel easily reached the top of my most liked places. The staff us absolutely the best. Rooms are about average size but very clean and housekeeping is always at your service. The moment you walk in, you are welcomed and you will feel comfortable.

The hotel was nice, as were the staff, and the resort had great amenities. I booked it for a one night romantic getaway for my anniversary. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 though because I planned to take my wife to a romantic anniversary dinner at Normans restaurant but once we checked in, we were informed it was closed for a private event. It would've been nice to have been informed of that prior to our arrival. However, other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would have given it 5 stars.

Connected to the Marriott Grande Lakes in an impressive.,complex, vacationers can choose Luxury or predictable comfort. The Marriott has a lazy river as its pool while the Ritz has just a pool. Ritz guests have access to either pool (assume the reverse is true too) but they also have more comfortable pool lounges, free sun screen poolside; fresh fruit and bottle water, complimentary, pool side And of course inside the rooms are what you've come to expect from a Ritz Carlton. Our weeklong vacation was truly a vacation at this property. The complimentary shuttle service to area parks made doing Disney easy. Because it's in Orlando very kid friendly property. Would NOT hesitate to go back or recommend to friends. Possibly best vacation we've taken as a family.

They were fantastic! From the moment we walked in, they made us feel very welcomed. While waiting to receive our room key, we were offered champagne. There was even a room for the little ones to be entertained by while they waited for us. The staff was extremely friendly, and the pool area is gorgeous.

This place is great! It has so many cool amenities and an amazing pool. Our room was very clean and the beds were quite comfortable. The bathroom had a separate shower and bathtub, which I thought was amazing, and the toilet was even closed off from the rest of it too! I definitely want to come back.

What a great experience! We really enjoyed staying at The Ritz Carlton Grande Lakes. We first walked into the lobby and it smelled so beautiful! Foods was fabulous at the Club and Trish was very helpful. Michella at the gym was very knowledgeable and gave great advice! Kids loved the pool -perfect temperature! Grounds are gorgeous!

The Ritz Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes is a great hotel. There are multiple restaurants providing lots of choice and a ton of recreation options. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. I was attending a conference so I did not get to experience many of the amenities so what sets the Ritz-Carlton apart as the service I received. everyone from the check-in counter to the wait staff to the chambermaids were friendly approachable and helpful. they seem to go out of their way to make your experience pleasant and better than home.

Excellent customer service and the epitome of top notch hospitality. It's a vast and beautiful place with many salons and comfortable seating areas. We especially loved the personable young lady who checked us in and Jesus, our bell hop. However, we weren't able to open our balcony door or utilize our balcony during our 5-day stay because they were painting the outside of the hotel. Also, even the most basic food items, such as a burger and fries are quite pricey but tasty nonetheless.

Always as pleasure to stay at a Ritz Carlton. This location is a large venue tied by a breezeway to the JW Marriott. It is designed to handle large events and does a great job. I have stayed here a number of times and the high service level remains consistent with other Ritz Carlton's around the country.

Very nice atmosphere and experience. Valet parking is complimentary for guests dinning at Norman's. The staff was very helpful and friendly as we had a 3 hour enjoyable dinning experience. It was nice to settle down, enjoy our meal and drinks and talk with out feeling any rush.

I stayed here in November while my home was being worked on. The hotel was fine but not great. It was under some renovation but this hotel basically doesn’t live up to the Ritz Carlton name. It’s an old hotel. It seems to be living off its name. I don’t feel like it’s a good value for the money. In future I would stay somewhere else. The views from the rooms are horrible. The staff were pleasant. It’s just a basic hotel in my opinion. Much better choices in the area.

Attended a work conference that was held here (which was also shared with the Marriot that is next door). The hotel itself is nice. Rooms are comfortable, bedding is nice, bathrooms in the rooms are large for a hotel. Food options (and the catering during the event) left something to be desired. Limited options and very expensive (the coffee shop downstairs was charging $4 for a can of soda). I had attended another conference at the Hyatt Regency - rooms were just as nice, food was better quality and price, and the hotel was closer to shopping and activities.

We had brunch and the food was delicious. The service staff was terrible but the chef was amazing. Donna who was at the omelette station made up for the inattentive servers who never refilled out coffee pot or were rather untimely in removing plates. She is an absolute treasure for the establishment. The food is delicious with a great variety, and the farm to table concept is wonderful!

Stayed here many times. Something always seems to go wrong with each stay that makes wanting to return here less desirable. The only reason I keep coming back is because the Spa is one of the best I've ever visited and the in room dining food is top notch. Starting to feel that this property has lost its charm and doesn't meet up to the Ritz Carlton standard.

Hard to give a fair rating from our one experience here. The building was under major construction. We are Ritz experienced travelers so the let down should be understandable. Very remote location from all the craziness of touristy Orlando. It is walking distance from Sea World if you are really into exercise walking. I did it no problem but others would say I am nuts. Can't be more them 3 miles though. Straight shot too. Easy. We stayed for a conference and the facility was fine for all that. My wife used the spa with no complaints and the gym is nice too. Bull and Bear was fun but service was slow (not enough staff) and it is pricey but what isn't at Ritz Carlton? Surprised there are not pedestrian walkways on the grounds so be prepared to walk in the streets as cars whiz by. Manifest destiny has caught up with this property once considered remote. But now a large Race Trak station is built across the way, a sure sign of further commercial development soon to come to this once quiet intersection.

Fantastic service, can't say enough nice things about the staff. Rooms could use a little updating (more outlets). Bed too soft for me, I like a firm bed. Beautiful grounds. Not a fan of the perfume/cologne smell they pump into the lobby. Overall a great place to stay.

We had an absolutely fabulous stay. The staff and service were so kind and attentive. It truly made our anniversary stay one to remember. The food was delicious and the Italian restaurant at JW Marriott grows it's own veggies and herbs, just like a restaurant in Italy. We love the lazy river and can't wait to use the Kid's Club next time. If you're deciding between a few places in Orlando, I would highly recommend the Ritz!

Absolutely my favorite place in the whole world! Every staff member greets you by name and with a smile. When you ask for directions you are not told, but rather escorted to your destination so you will not get lost. And the pool waiters are some of the nicest and most hard working people you'll ever meet!

I was only there for a few hours while my girlfriend was at the spa. The place was so...I don't know, elegant. The staff was super friendly. My girlfriend should be writing this review. She loved her spa experience and the staff. I hung out at the pool which was amazing. If I ever have money I would stay there for a few nights hands down.

It was a really nice place. The whole staff was really friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean, the shower was a little small and the tub was nothing special. The pool was relaxing and a great temperature. The view towards the lakes was amazing. The walk around the lake was also nice and relaxing. The location wasn't prime though, I was here for a conference and my wife got bored a couple times.

Attended a 3 day event at the Ritz/JW. I did not stay at the hotel but the convention was superb. The exhibits were set up in an easy to access way. The layout couldn't have been better. The sound and projectors in the convention rooms were perfect. The food was great. I had a chance to eat at Quench and the food was perfect. I had the grouper sandwich and it was delicious. I also have to mention the staff. The staff was always ready to help at a moment's notice and they were everywhere. I would definitely recommend.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... Service is incredible, all employees were very friendly and very helpful. Some designs weren't too great in the halls and the parking set up was confusing at first. But really enjoyed my stay. Bathrooms were wonderful and the beds wee very cozy. My garden view wasn't that great but just having a small balcony was enough. Would definitely come again.

The hotel is really nice (as would be expected), and the staff is very friendly and helpful, especially the person who checked me and and draw out a map for a shortcut between my room and the conference. The only reason I knocked a star off was the lack of vegetarian options at the event dinner: rice and spring rolls. That's it. The other two meals have been better, so the rest of my stay has been much better than the hungry first night.

My room was a lake view room facing the Lion's Fountain and Lion Pool. I was able to sit on the balcony at night and enjoy the view. The main lobby is under construction and guests had to go to the East entrance. The only confusion was the driver that dropped me off for my stay. The room was beautiful and very clean. The bed and pillows were one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. I would stay here again. The down side was that I had no car and there wasn't much in terms of restaurants in the area or anything else. There was a Walgreens about a half a mile away but because of the heat, seemed like an incredibly long walk.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a hotel on there and they had the cheapest rates around... What can I day it is the Ritz-Carlton. One of the biggest I have stayed at and we have been there over a half dozen times. The food is great. Especially the tavern on the bottom floor which has some unique food that is too hard to explain. Just take a look at the menu and you''ll see. But I have to recommend Pimento Burger. Wow! Pool is huge, Rooms as expected, perfect and big. Spa huge! Tina the Spa Director and Jamie the Assistant Spa Dir. are the most amazing people you will meet. They are Ritz-Carlton to the core. They deserve company recognition for the out of the way type attitude that I received. I was there late April and Jamie who is the Spa got me tee times, shoes, clubs and greens fees for half price as I just wanted to get 9 in after our event. That's what you expect from all Ritz-Carlton employees. We will make it happen! It was also my son's 2 birthday and the hotel sent an amenity with all the things that my son loves. They found out somehow...But that's Guest services at its best!

The service alone makes this hotel a 5 star resort. Then add in the unique amenities (like mountain biking and canoe tours), fantastic locally sourced food, and spectacular rooms and you can see why this hotel is rated so high. Be sure to book the club room level for tons of great food and drinks. It will SAVE you money!

Had a work meeting at Highball & Harvest, the restaurant inside the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, the food was absolutely amazing! Worth every penny, the meat and cheese tray was to die for, so were the deviled eggs. The signature pimento cheese burger was next level for a hamburger. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. Staff was extremely nice and were leagues above a typical restaurant/hotel. The staff at this location definitely stood up to the Ritz name. Highly recommended for a lunch outing, I would love to experience dinner here sometime.

Absolutely amazing. Rupert and Carmen helped make our stay magical. I would highly recommend for anyone trying to unwind from a busy work schedule for an escape. My wife came in post-convention for her birthday and the concierge, Carmen, sent her flowers while we were at dinner. The following morning, Rupert, brought us a bottle of Champagne with our morning meal. Will always remember this wonderful property!

I am a local here in Orlando and I enjoyed a spa day alone. The treatments were fabulous and the staff were all accommodating and courteous. I loved the fact that the little cafe downstairs is for the spa and I could go down and enjoy lunch in my robe and then go to the pool (again, only for spa patrons) and relax and read my book. It was a lovely day and I WILL be back!

The Ritz Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes is absolutely incredible! Amazingly beautiful, immaculate, and I have never, ever been around hotel staff that went beyond out of their way. You're treated like royalty. Always a greeting with a genuine smile from every person. They inquire if you help with anything without you even asking. A plethora of staff on every floor, you never have to go looking far for anyone should you need assistance. They really aim to please. They set the bar incredibly high. We went through our jug of water pretty quickly so I asked if we could get more. The staff had such a mortified look on his face at the fact that we didn't have water and immediately handed me several bottles of water and went to get someone to replace the jug. When the attendant arrived, literally two minutes later, he was extremely apologetic. I felt so bad for him because he has this look on his face as if it was his fault we ran out of water. Poor man. I immediately begged him to not apologize and humbly thanked him for his service. This is my first experience at this hotel. It's my second day of the days and I'm already sad knowing I'm leaving soon. I highly recommend this hotel. I will definitely return.

My wife and I visited the Spa of this hotel for our anniversary. We had a great 80 minutes couple massage. Both of us agree that it was the best massage we had ever had. The facilities are fantastic; huge coed pool and hot tub, and gender specific sauna, steam room, hot tub, and cold plunge. My only complaint is that when I called to schedule the appointment, I was told the price was going to be $225. When we checked out, turns out it was that price for EACH of us. In the end, if you're able to use all of the amenities for the entire day, well worth it.

Samar, was the lead person who helped my sister and I get settled in at The Angler's Hotel. From start to finish, of our three night stay in February, Samar was always professional and very knowledgeable about the local area. The rooms we had were well kept and beautiful and most of all relaxing as we both needed a break from our hectic work schedules. I loved all the serene areas located inside and outside the hotel. Very welcoming and elegant spot to spend a weekend away from home! I must say all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Special kudos to Samar for being outstanding!

Would have given this an excellent except having to pay $22 per day to self park ($29 for valet). With all of the land that this property is on it's somewhat criminal to charge additionally for parking. My three night stay cost me another $100. Property itself is beautiful. Room was fine. Service fantastic as always

Very well appointed hotel. Immaculate landscaping, friendly attentive staff and great swimming pool. Large rooms. Tends to me more corporate function in character.

My husband and I stayed here for a business trip . We loved our stay, and all the amenities offered especially the pool. We had a couple issues with the food, but the kitchen was quick to fix it and comped us for the meal. I can't wait to stay here again!

The true test of an establishment is how well they handle adversity. I won't get into too many details but we experienced a significant inconvenience at the hands of one of the staffers. A mistake was made. Everyone trying to correct the situation was very apologetic and helpful and ultimately they got it handled. The manager offered us a free night and some other accommodations for the inconvenience. The point is, they all handled it with grace and understanding, and I will definitely be going back now that I know the true quality of their service.

Best meal I've ever had. I have been a big fan of executive chef Scott Pizzo for years. He has always put together a meal that I can never forget and this was over the top, even for him. Our server, Mounir, was very attentive and knowledgeable about the entire menu. I've already recommended this establishment to all of my friends and can't wait to come back.

Plenty of GF options, food & wine was excellent - fresh and tasty! Staff know their menu and are very friendly. We were late arriving but still not rushed - even ordered extra sushi just before 10pm. Great value too. Recommend the spicy salmon & avocado

Nice hotel, good service but very expensive food, a 34 $ breakfast buffet is somewhat excessive and a poolside lunch for two costs 50 USD... The food is excellent though. Rooms are nice and clean and the pool is beautiful. The expansive grounds are populated of a massive variety of birds which you can go out and observe. Nice but not perfect

Treated us all kindly and patiently, even when they didn't have the answers. It's a lovely area to relax and the grounds make it feel like a land away from the chaos of Orlando. Many fun memories were had here, will def return and explore more.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked this hotel on there and they had the cheapest rates around... I was suppose to stay at the JW, but was moved to the Ritz because they were oversold next door. Got upgraded to a suite with a beautiful view of the pool, lake and golf course. Front drive gentlemen were always there ready for you and friendly. I love how they shine your shoes at night.

The facility is quite nice. Spacious health club. Great running trails. However, the rooms don't seem to be quite Ritz standard, and the in room coffee machine is what I get at a holiday inn.

This Ritz Carlton location is spectacular. The lakes are quite amazing and most rooms offer breathtaking lake views. Norman's was an incredible restaurant. The pool was fantastic. This would be a difficult place to beat if you're staying in the Orlando area. You won't want to leave your hotel.

Went for a spa day. The spa was clean and organized. The salt water pool was beatiful. The spa services offered was varied and well priced. Staff was friendly, aware and helpful. I noticed the hotel décor was dated and worn (cracked ceiling in one area, outside of building needed pressure washing). Food and drink menus for the spa area were limited and lacking selection. You must try the lovely places to walk outdoors.

Absolutely beautiful property, gorgeous building overlooking a lake and a golf course. There's tons to do here as well from the spa inside the hotel, the multiple pools, tennis and volley ball courts, fire pit, amazing restaurant, the list goes on and on. The rooms are very elegant with an outdoor balcony. On top of that all the employees are always kind and curious, doing everything with a smile on their face. Over all a wonderful experience.

I stayed at this marvelous resort last month and it was absolutely phenomenal!!! From the impressive amenities to the outstanding staff, suffice it to say, I did not want to leave. I even forgot a few my belongings as i was checking out to leave. Could you believe, a lovely man by the name of Miguel Rivera, the coordinator of the lost and found at the Ritz, mailed all of my personal belongings home to me.....I tell ya, there's a reason why it's a 5 star resort! Love, Love Love this place!!!!

Upon arrival, I asked for my car to be kept up front upon valet reception and was given a doorman ticket only after I tipped the head valet. This should be customary for the restaurant, not an "after the fact'. I attended dinner at Norman's the service was exceptional and the food was just OK. After dinner as we walked the property along the outer walkway path there were box trucks hauling, stopping and just sitting in certain areas of the walkway. This is ludicrous because paying guests should be given a level of satisfaction instead of having to walk on the wet grass instead of getting run over. The night was OK for me, but I will never return to stay or visit the ritz. I frequent other 4 star and diamond level properties for work so I am familiar with the level of services that are provided to guests.

We were recently guests of the hotel for a combination of business and leisure travel; we stayed in a room on the 11th floor that overlooked the lake and golf course. The room was very clean, beautifully furnished, and contained all the comforts one would expect, including soft towels, robes, and extra bedding. The housekeeping staff was superb (with the exception of a little blip on the last day of our stay in which they thought we had already checked out and did not service our room ) and kept things super tidy and our room stocked with clean towels, bottled water, and single-serve coffee packets. The concierge, front desk staff, and valet staff were always friendly and very helpful. Lastly, the facilities and grounds were maintained spectacularly and the flowers in the lobby and lounge areas were just BEAUTIFUL! We will definitely visit again anytime we are in the Orlando area.

Booked a night here for my birthday this past weekend.. I had never stayed at a hotel higher than four-stars, so this was a pleasant surprise. First off, let me say that this hotel chain is not going to wow you with lavish rooms or spectacular amenities; the property is up to par for what they charge. The reason The Ritz-Carlton rises above all other hotels, in my opinion, is customer service excellence. For example, upon check-in, my girlfriend went to the front desk while I parked the car. She was told to come back for a glass of celebratory champagne when it was convenient for us. We placed out items in the room and promptly went back downstairs to the lobby. We were told by the staff that no more champagne was available, but she immediately recognized (without us getting even a little bit visibly disappointed) that it was an issue that she needed to resolve. Fast-forward forty minutes, and we receive a full bottle of champagne on the house. The gentleman who delivered it, George, was incredibly friendly and helped us begin our night with happy and heartfelt conversation. We will return to The Ritz in the future, solely due to the hospitality and above-and-beyond customer service we received. Side note: the restaurants on this property are fantastic and the customer service excellence is continued there as well. Thank you for a great stay!

Everything was great about the hotel. The golf course is nice for a Greg Norman design. The let the public on the course and also have members so I can get crowded or totally booked which is a big negative for me. They were completely booked and could not get me on the course so I told them I would have to cancel my four rooms if I couldn't get on and they squeezed me in. They must have done it for other groups too because the course was definitely over crowded though the pace was ok. 430 pace of play but for a 740 tee time you'd think you be able to zoom though it. On ten there were three groups on it. I was happy they got us on though. The hotel looks great and service is great. Pool is a little small so it can get crowded. The only reason my wife and I said we won't return is because the restaurants are just ok. you can't even get a filet in the restaurants, and the New York strip was bland. Seems a bit odd. I asked for some sauces for the strip and they only had bernaise but I never got it. Also with two young kids at the 1.5 hour mark they still had not got their dinners. I had to tell the server everyone's dinner needs to come out or they are going to have to bring some more appetizers.
