Stayed here for 4-night during end of August, will give a 4-star minus on the hotel. It's convenient, quiet, room quality (comfort room, 1 king bed) is good with comfort bed. Everything works as expected, front desk is very helpful in sending in a microwave when I requested it in 7am in the morning. Two problems: room cleaning is not very thorough, they left a hand towel on top of the shower curtain from previous occupant; WIFI is so-so.

The hotel is clean and beautiful. So nice being surrounded by the mountains on all sides and close enough to downtown that you can leave your vehicle and walk on down and around. The restaurant is also very good.

Excellent service, clean rooms, beds and AC is great. Just outside in the hallway there are fruit waters for guests. For $370 a night on a long weekend I feel like a continental breakfast should probably be included because that is the case at The Fox Hotel & Suites. Which is also a 3 star hotel!

Great views and access to the city. Prompt customer service and friendly staff. Delicious breakfast buffet and allowed an early check in with a call ahead. Would stay there again.

Attended a wedding here. Beautiful venue, nice after snacks (poutine), professional and courteous staff. One thing not good, plating of dinner seemed off. The timing seemed long between tables. First table to last table served seemed to be about an hour or 45 minutes. So some tables were well done their dinner and had their plates taken away while others had not received dinner yet.

I attended a wedding at the Coast. The staff, for the most part, were accommodating and kind. The food was good, considering mass preparation. However, I was not a fan of minced olives in my mashed pots. The banquet room was spacious and good for large events. I would consider hosting an event at this venue in the future.

Clean rooms, good size. Hotel is in a great location easy to find. Restaurant has good friendly service, the Breakfast buffet was a big hit. Accommodate large family and patient with kids. A good place to stay.

A very nice hotel. Not the fanciest or the nicest but a nice hotel that executes really well. I was there for a conference. The room we were in had round tables and felt fairly spacious with 4 people at a table. Chairs are not uncomfortable. They served food during so space along two walls was taken up by tables too. Food was served in the conference rooms for breakfast and lunch. For dinner it was in the restaurant in the hotel. Service was good in there. The bed was comfortable and sheets and linens were all clean. Bathroom was well stocked except for only a single roll of toilet paper. Again, the bathroom was very clean. Lots of towels and big towels for drying off. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash as well as a cleaner bar were provided. I had no complaints, I wouldn't hesitate to send someone here either to stay or to hold a small conference.

Convenient transfers to airport and short walk to Town Centre. Spacious rooms and well designed to be warm enough without the heater in late spring and also soundproof walls for a quiet peaceful night. Great service!

Enjoyed our stay very much, visiting from the U.K., restaurant modern appeal with a lounge area adjacent staff very helpful and polite good customer service. Room service daily with the option to go green.
We would not hesitate to stay here again if we return to Canmore. Ideal if you intend to go skiing to either of the Big 3 resorts as the ski bus stop outside the hotel, so no lugging skis etc to far. There is also the Roam transit bus stop very close to the hotel. Easy walk into the town with plenty of restaurants to chose from. Car rental opposite so ideal. Bonus Grizzly Paw brewery worth a visit next to the hotel

Fantastic stay at Coast Canmore. The staff are AMAZING and so helpful. I had made a mistake on my booking (completely my fault) and Melissa handled everything beautifully. What could have been a stressful and frustrating situation was turned into a wonderful stay! Love the modern decor in the rooms, and everything is super clean. Will be back and will recommend to friends.

The concierge staff were wonderful. The rooms were comfortable and the beds were fantastic. Slept better than I normally do in hotels. I loved their green initiatives, especially with their housekeeping. I would certainly stay there again!

The catering was lovely, and the bar made some wicked good drinks.

Lovely hotel with modern, luxurious rooms. We stayed for a very reasonably price. Has a pool and hot tub. No continental breakfast, but we heard the restaurant offers great breakfast food.

The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were very welcoming. The rooms also seemed to have been recently renovated, which is a big plus. The only complaint is that you have to walk outside a short distance to get to the pool/fitness center.

Nice rooms, nothing special. The buffet breakfast was only average but decently priced. The hot tub wasn't very clean or hot. One morning there wasn't any hot water for the shower in either of our rooms. Overall, a decent place to stay but nothing great, but it's close to downtown Canmore and the mountains.

Lovely hotel! Great location, friendly staff and clean. The only draw back was having to walk outside to get to the pool. Nice pool once we did get there though. Will for sure stay here again. Thanks!

The hotel atmosphere, staff and facilities were a great experience for a night out out the city! Staff was friendly and attentive, the rooms were clean and felt freshly renovated with nice fixtures and style. Location is excellent and within walking distance to the places I was attending.

Washroom was pretty stinky. Room was not cleaned properly: paper left under blankets, dirty coffee mug and dusty room. Staff was friendly.

I visited this hotel for one night while doing some work in the area. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The decor, while somewhat dated in the common areas, can be considered "appropriate" for a mountain village. The rooms, on the other hand, have recently been renovated in a more modern style. This creates a bit of a thematic "mash-up", but suggests they are working toward a total renovation.

The on-site restaurant serves excellent food but be forewarned that it can be a little on the "fancy" side, and this is reflected in the price. We had a dinner for 2, no alcohol, and the bill came to just under $90CAD.

There is a pool, hot tub, and fitness area at the hotel, but they are all accessed by a short walk outside, which can be quite chilly in the winter.

Unfortunately, a number of the guest room doors at this property are in need of repair and do not seal properly. This means that noise and light from the hallways can easily penetrate the rooms. I was awakened at 2:30 in the morning by a door closing... It sounded like it was mine!

Rooms are homey and conformable, exceptional room service and restaurant staff. Fantastic food!

This place is really nice, but there's just so many little things that make it strange. The staff here is amazing and helpful and friendly. But what was weird was a total lack of electrical sockets in our room (we had to unplug a light to plug in the coffee maker - nowhere except really awkward places to plug in the laptop and phones) the toilet paper was kind of in an awkward and inexplicable location and the stuff in the vending machines was weird. The room is long and skinny, so nowhere comfy to sit except on the bed. The beds tipped over if you sat at the foot of the bed, though, so i sat on the floor a lot.. The price and the staff will make me consider coming back, but not if I plan to get work done in my room.

We were greeted so well when we arrived and felt like they took care of us as guests! We stayed overnight for a retreat for 2 nights and were served from the hotel. The food was delicious and servers helpful and friendly! The soundproofing is not the best I've experienced (hear walking in the hallway, more than usual, and some noise from rooms) but it was minimal and not too disturbing. Overall a great experience!

Staff were great. Quick and easy check in and check out. Close to great food and coffee and not too far of a walk to downtown.

Conveniently located near the highway exit. Spacious, clean, fast free wifi. Comfortable beds. No free breakfast though. Nice and generous environmentally friendly shampoo. Restaurant is very good but pricey. Nice pool and exercise room.

Very friendly reception by the front desk staff. Excellent menu and room service. Great pool and hot tub. The room was very comfortable and well appointed. The location was a quick 10 min walk to the downtown and lots of amenities nearby. We had a great stay!

Nice location close to downtown Canmore. Hallway seemed loud and walls a little thin. But otherwise a nice clean hotel. Pet friendly too and they will give a little treat for your dog when checking in.

Loved the room, very spacious and had a good color scheme. Food was quite expensive, but nearby restaurants and fast food joints made up for that. I did get bug bites after staying the night though.

Great hotel - feels like new from very recent renos and staff is very pleasant and sharp! Perfect for a family, friends or intimate get away. Try the restaurant as well - great menus and impressive food! I would visit just for the food which was not typical of Canmore hotels. This is upscale dining in the Rockies!

Great service, hotel was very nice, and our room was good. When we checked out, we were told that the wing we stayed in is scheduled to be​totally renovated in a couple of weeks, so I'm sure it will be even better soon!!

The room we got was great. It had an amazing view of the Rockies, the king size bed was incredibly comfortable, and the housekeepers kept the room looking clean throughout our stay

Modern and comfortable. Nothing particularly special but nothing bad about the experience. Staff was warm and welcoming. Pool was warmed which was nice. Excellent location just on the edge of Canmoore

The location and room was fine. I was a little disappointed that the room wasn't as nice looking as the photo provided when we booked online. Also hated that the pool was located outside the main building and had to run through the cold to the pool.

The rooms, staff and restaurant were all great. The bed was comfortable and the room clean and well taken care of. Our room was situated on the furthest south side, and did notice we had train noise from nearby tracks, but not too loud. Might be a consideration of you are a light sleeper. Be forewarned, the pool, hottub and gym are indoors, but you must go outside of the building to get to the area they are in. This isn't great in the winter if you're not prepared for it!

The staff was excellent and very accommodating. The bathroom floor was freezing but otherwise the room was comfortable. Great location.

I thought it was a very nice place and the staff was very pleasant. My only con about was when I got the premium king suite I thought it would have been a little bigger and a little nicer.

The walls of the Rooms were thin enough that we could hear people talking next door.
In room dinner was $58 for an appetizer, burger and piece of cheese cake. Appy was not even good enough to finish. Expected better.

Food was great, room was nice. Modern feel and decor. Air condition unit a little noisy but not serious. Only minor complaint is needing to walk outside to reach the pool/hot tub building.

I enjoyed my stay there for one night. Room was clean and staff were very helpful. The in-house Table restaurant breakfast buffet was very good and thanked the server for recommending it. It was a great way to start the day. I would definitely stay there again. It was in walking distance of downtown and enjoyed the chance to walk downtown both the evening I arrived and the next morning before I had to check out at noon. The staff were nice enough to call me a cab and call another hotel on my behalf, due to my hearing loss, and also explained to the other hotel I needed to check in earlier than their 4:00 check in-time due a wedding I had to attend at 3:45. I was able to check in when I arrived at the other hotel at 12:30.

Professional setup for the wedding. Kind and helpful staff. Views of the mountains are lovley. As a DJ this is a fantastic setting.

Was great. It was our anniversary and they provided complimentary champagne. Room was good size and surprisingly quiet for Easter weekend. Beautiful views and good service from the desk.

Good clean Hotel. Location is awesome right downtown, easy walk to drinks and food. Nothing special and nothing terrible about the hotel. It is dated, but clean. The gym is almost non existent and the WIFI is terrible. There is a brewery almost in the parking lot, they are awesome there and the beer is very good.

My boyfriend and I stayed here over the past weekend, and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment at this hotel. From the moment we entered the establishment, we were greeted by amazingly helpful, attentive & kind front desk staff, which was a positive way to begin what was a fabulous weekend.

The restaurant - AMAZING food...I had the Vegetarian Curry & would definitely recommend! Room service was super fast and there are really good selections.

There were renovations happening during the time we stayed there, but one would never know otherwise, had we not spotted the materials and the closures of part of the lobby...there was never any noise or disturbances. Regular access to the pool was blocked, but there was a detour, so fortunately, we were still able to use the pool. The pool & hot tub area are right outside of the fitness (work-out) area, which I thought was awesome! The pool is a great size and is open till midnight!

The room itself was very clean and cozy. Comfortable bed...loved that there was a sliding door that opened to a railing (no balcony) to bask in the fresh mountain air while enjoying the stunning views of the mountains from our room.

I would also like to mention that after leaving, I realized that I had left some jewelry behind in our room, and the cleaning staff, along with the front desk staff, all worked to get it back to me within half an hour of me realizing that I had neglected to bring it with us. Words cannot express how thankful I was for that, as the necklace I had left behind, holds sentimental value. I really feel as if the staff here deserve applause for this...I would also like to mention that I tried to give the staff a $ reward, but they did not take it and simply stated: "it's our job". I was so blown away by the level of professionalism, kindness and compassion I rec'd. The staff at this hotel know what the hospitality industry is all about. I would definitely stay again.
