A large group of us stayed there for a week. We had 2 banglaows and 3 standard rooms.

Packed and ready for the week ahead with excitement we arrived at the hotel. We walked in to the reception and left the luggage outside with the rest of the family members to watch and hoping once we check in, one of the staff will take the luggage to our rooms.

We approach the reception, get ourselves checked in and the keys to the room. Receptionists asks a staff member to help us with our luggages as we had kids with us, the staff member comes tells 'you guys (us who are staying in the bangalow) go straight and turn right and go straight, your rooms are there' and tells the other family members to take the lift to the 3rd floor and their rooms will be there, then the staff just walks off! We're just standing there with a shock, what just happened? It's a 4 star hotel and you expect a little more than that, surely?

Anyways, as we didn't wanna ruin our holiday, we go on an adventure finding our rooms. Once we found the rooms, they were fairly decent room and the bangalow were nice - so complaints there.

We booked this hotel as part of a half board package and the great thing was we had the choice of either dinner or lunch and we can choose this every single day, what wasn't so great is that the selection of food. The half board didn't include any drinks or water which we had to buy in the hotel. We weren't allowed to bring in any drinks, water or food from outside, which baffled me. The cost of water inside the hotel was 25dirham, but you can pick up the same bottle from outside for 5 dirham. Coming back to the food - it was the worst thing by mile, the selection was so small and every day was literally the same thing apart one tagine dish. Breakfast was the same.

There were other restaurants in the hotel but they were closed permanently so we ended up eating out a lot. Bare in mind we had kids with us, so this was pain in the back side to say the least.

Going on to swimming, it was the filtihiest swimming I've ever been to. The water was mucky/cloudy with hair, leaves are other stuffs floating about. I only went in the first and never went back in.

So my overall take is, this hotel is a 2 star hotel. If you have a young family, definitely not the place to go to as the food selection is bad and the swimming pool is filthy. And it's not exactly cheap.

It was a great experience all staff are so kind nice and helpful... the swimming pool such a cool place.... It's where you can drag your beer and relax love it ♥️

the staff are helpful the location are near all restaurant and night clubs no need to have car for going to (jamae fnaa) (koutoubia) (menara mall) the room is perfect enouth spacious with all facilities the pool is perfect....

Staff were on the whole very friendly. Air con didnt work and I had to move 3 times to get a room that was cool enough to stay in. Initially i was told there was no air con being used in the building for the duration of my stay because it was too cold outside. It was 33 degrees C!! Good location. 20 minute walk to the Medina. Rooms were ok nothing special.

The hotel resort farah is wonderful place to stay during your holidays very relaxing garden and swimming pool. I recomend it

The balcony could do with a kick of paint but the staff were wonderful

I stayed in this hotel, it’s sitauted on ideal location few minutes walk for menara mall and bus station.
Hotel receptionist girl named kaoutar was really a professional and decent , she has been very helpful and friendly
Breakfast and room maintenance was also excellent.
I would like to stay in this hotel again .

I intend to be a go to good health club and hotel it was a great place but as I speak Arabic it helped.

Ok hotel, nice pool and gardens around, the rooms are connected with internal doors between so you can hear every sentence of the guest of the next room...

Great front of house staff and mgmt in the back offices. Lovely cleaners too!

Very huge hotel. We had a suite with 2 bathrooms and a living room. The interior of the room was kinda old, the TVs weren't flat. The room was clean and it was calm. The pool is nice and huge, and there also is a lawn area where you can lay down and relax. It's around 30 minutes to the center of Marrakech by foot, and 10 minutes by car or hackney cab.

Amazing, staff are very welcoming, of course it would help to know a little French or Arabic outside the hotel but apart from that the hotel itself is superb.

Cannot complain at all, hotel clean, room cleaned daily and fresh towels each day. Staff extremely friendly and helpful, food bloody amazing with different menu each day, breakfast and dinner included in the price so was expecting really shitty buffet, but was blown away at the quality. The gift shops within the hotel are so reasonably prices compared to the souks, I wish I'd purchased all my souvenirs here, plus the shop owner and his sister are lovely. Enjoy Marrakech!

I was at the Golden Tulip last week for a long weekend with friends. I enjoyed the place itself, with the massive swimming pool a surrounded by trees and a nice peaceful area to chill. We could even had our breakfast there which made it simply perfect. It was continental and very yummy. The room was always very tidy and, the staff was multilingual and always very helpful.
I also left some stuff in the room and the room lady took it to the reception. I could not leave a large tip!

I would definitely recommend it.

As a moroccoan I decided to bring my mom on holiday over here - Rude staff - different treatment with different people. on my first day - the room was not made until 4 pm, remote control was not working - After asking for it about 5 times before they decided to put batteries in it. Lots of food but no variety, Expensive prices for water etc even if you are full board, they do not even offer tap water. If you come down to eat during the last half an hour they rush you and do not treat you well. It is unfortunate the hotel has potential to be a great hotel, but they need to improve their service, their prices are high and their service is terrible. Beautiful rooms, beautiful swimming pool. We were extremely disappointed, They act as if everyone is a thief, and count the spoons and are in fear of loosing their cutlery -
