Again, it’s a Hotel 39 now, and it’s under new management. Free FAST WiFi (just a bit annoying to connect), extremely clean rooms, and management was super friendly and accommodating. Stayed for one night and then changed to 3 days with no issues whatsoever.

It's now Hotel 39 and my stay was great. The breakfast is much much better then the crappy continental breakfast offered by Super 8. Rooms are very nice and staff was great. I like things really clean so obviously I would like it cleaner here. Fridge and microwave. That's nice. Lots of outlets to plug in your devices. The pool could be open for more hours... I mean what's the point if the pool isn't open during the hours most people would probably like to enjoy it. Overall I'll be back.

Great value for the money.

This was my second time staying at this hotel. The room was excellent very clean etc... I will stay there every time i.m in this area.

It was a very modern very updated Hotel I'm absolutely happy I stayed there plus it's a straight shot to the beach 15 minutes away

The experience was okay nothing too great or too bad.

Nice motel to stay by for a day or two

From the outside, the are is pretty sketchy. Liquor store, sketchy bar and pawn shop right next door. The front desk room closes at a certain time and has an after hours bulletproof window to talk to the receptionist. Inside, the rooms were surprisingly nice for a super 8, especially in a sketchy area. Refrigerator, microwave, coffee, TV. Is 4 stories tall, but there is an elevator. Beds were average.

A little small but really nice rooms for the price.

Me and some coworkers started here for a night. Every room reeked cigarette smoke. Other than that everything was pretty clean and comfortable. Probably won't stay again, but good if your in a pinch.

Other than the lack of parking, the room was modern, neat and clean. Very satisfied. And Continental breakfast was a plus.

Location is the sketchy part. Thats the only reason why i didnt give it a 5. Next to a major freeway, liquor store next door and a bar as well. Lots of weird people hanging around there.

Staff was friendly. Room was clean , fresh towels daily and does NOT smell like smoke. Great value, I would stay here again.

Room was so loud, cars racing ouside on Beach Blvd all night long. The walls are paper thin, kids screaming, huge families filling rooms (living there?) Supposedly non smoking but room reeks of smoke and burn holes on furniture. Bedspread and blanket smelled funky. It was really hard to feel safe tgere. Liquor store and girly bar next door with weirdos walking around. Piles and piles of trash with outdoor trash bins overflowing and never emptied. Disgusting. You get what you pay for. Stay at a 5 star Ayres Hotel instead for $40 more!!

Location was excellent-easy access toto all the major LA Area attractions. Rooms were clean but nothing special. Provided continental breakfast which was ok, nothing over the top but good enough. Staff was also just ok. Not over the top friendly but also not rude. I felt like this super 8 pretty much marched exactly what you would expect for the price. Did not underperform or exceed any expectations.

Planned a family beach trip to Huntington beach this hotel was 10 minutes away hotel staff were friendly the room was good for our one night stay close to stores and food places would stay again only con was breakfast it was okay. We give it 8 out of 10
