Superb restaurant in every respect. Handled requests for vegetarian meals made only a day before without a problem.

I'm pretty sure I'm too poor to stay at this hotel normally, but we got a GREAT deal on a room. Then the woman at the front desk was kind enough to upgrade us to a room with a view. It truly was a great view! Staying in different cities while visiting Belgium, it was a nice change of pace staying in the country. The hotel was a mix of old world charm with modern amenities. Nice and quiet and a short drive to Ghent. Truly a great hotel experience.

Wij hebben deelgenomen aan het lunch buffet zondagmiddag. Zeer uitgebreid buffet voor elks wat wils. Uiteenlopende keuze bij het eerste buffet (voorgerechten): oesters, rauwe vissen, vlees, kaasschotels en salades. Buffet voor het hoofdgerecht is beperkter (vlees of vis) maar het vlees was wel echt lekker. Het desserten buffet daarentegen was terug zeer uitgebreid en gevarieerd. Zowel de traditionele desserten waren aanwezig als speciale dessertjes.

Great terrace for a sunny summer evening.y Upper level restaurant, however steak was bit overcooked and lobster was nearly cold again. We waited 50min for the starter. Signs of weak organisation in the kitchen. Besides that it could be a great place outside Gent for diner. Only mediocre kitchen overall

Very nice place to stay. Even though the rooms are not spacious, they are very cosy with a comfortable bed, functional and beautiful bathroom and light that could be dimmed. Staff is always ready to help and provide for all of the guest needs (I even got an early breakfast so I could check out at about 7 in the morning). If you want to go for a walk around Deurle or to the Ooidonk Castle you could get a map from the cheerful ladies at the reception desk.
All in all an excellent experience :) I would recommend to everyone.

Went here for a seminar. Service was great, as were the view and the food.

Van 2 tot 5 februari hebben we verbleven in de Auberge du pecheur. We waren aangenaam verrast door de mooie kamer en de service. In de loop van de avonden hebben we gedineerd in de Brasserie. Het eten was er zeer goed met een supersnelle bediening. Het ontbijt is er overvloedig en uitgebreid.
Echt een aanrader om enkele dagen te verblijven.

Isn't cheap, unless you visit the brasserie. Almost the same food, but a lot cheaper.

Dit is een van die plaatsen in Latem waar iedereen wil of moet geweest zijn. We zijn frequente bezoekers (vooral van de brasserie in de zomer) en we vinden de bediening echt lamentabel vooral op drukke momenten. Dit is zo'n zaak die teert op z'n locatie maar verder weinig toegevoegde waarde heeft.
