Friendly and professional staff. Well located with a stunning view. Perfect for a weekend getaway, especially for couples. The spa itself is not out of this world, but the massage service is definitely worth it. Late spring and summer are the best periods to stay. Ask for a room with a river view.

The title could be...a teen hotel on the way to become an adult!! One of the most full of potential places I have seen in the last years! With an amazing location that provide breathtaking views, this hotel offers a mix between confort and relaxation at a very good level. Why still not and adult hotel alreay? The staff altough very kind and available reveals to be imature in some situations, like the management of comunication with clients, a mire robust training and on the job follow up should be invested. The food is in general amazing but they should really invest in offering some kind of rotation in some of the plates in the menu. If you stay on week you will start feeling lack of options...what about having a fixed menu but one rotation special plate at dinner? Altough it is a 4 star hotel if some special attention to this details is taken care it can easily upscale to a 5 star space! Keep the good work and remember...it is all about the details!

The setting here is stunningly beautiful. The hotel is clean and nice. The staff were friendly and the food was good!

The prices on site were reasonable and overall I was a happy customer.

On the less positive side, this spa hotel period isn't used to having so many guests there, and service in all areas except directly from reception was slow. Dinner, bar, room service etc.

The outside pool was pretty busy throughout daylight hours and calmed down around Sunset.

A good experience I'd be willing to repeat, but not as a family holiday and not of I wasn't going to repeat my habit of jumping in the car and exploring the region. (No public transport links at all!)

Excellent stay and experience. We enjoyed the contact, design, food and our jump into the river. Our BMW navigation found the hotel without any problems and we will be back for sure.

The highligh are the pools. The hotel is in completely harmony with Douro river. Once there, peacefull moments just happen.
The rooms also have an outstanding view above douro river.
The restaurant service follows global high level of the hotel.
Staff is friendly.

Os quartos com vista para o rio são espectaculares. O restaurante é muito bom mas um pouco caro, aliás os preços são elevados no hotel mas a qualidade é também muito alta. Pessoal muito simpático. O SPA está muito bem equipado e a piscina interior tem vista para o rio. 5 estrelas
