The location was a little removed from the main attractions in the area (Hershey, Dutch wonderland, etc), but was conveniently located off the highway and near a well stocked gas station. I was also thoroughly impressed with the dining options in the area (decent Thai and Korean!). The hotel itself was clean, well kept, and managed by friendly staff. Breakfast was great!

The location is kept nice and clean. The service is excellent. They did a great job making our group feel welcome.

I can't say enough great things about this hotel. My family and I stayed at the hotel this passed weekend 8/3/18-8/6/18. I am all about customer service and the staff went above and beyond my expectations. From the first person at the desk (I didn't get his name but I believe he was the assistant manager) he was very welcoming. The woman that worked the evening shift was wonderful also. The ladies that worked the breakfast were amazing. The room was very clean and modern. Again I can't say enough about the place.

The staff was very accommodating and helped our family with so many logistical things during our stay for my sister’s wedding. Thank you for making it a great stay.

The room was clean and well laid-out, and the staff was extremely friendly. The hotel was extremely busy due to several youth sports teams staying, but the staff took it all in stride and didn't allow themselves to be overwhelmed. The hot-breakfast was quite good as well. Great visit

This was my first stay at a Homewood but I loved it. We had a king suite and the room was really nice. I'll definitely stay here again any time I have to come to the York area.

Great hotel! We booked the banquet room for my moms 70th surprise party. The staff was amazing! They were very polite and helpful! We had some out of town guests who stayed at the hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet.

While visiting York, there was no question we were staying at the Homewood. The hotel has well kept facilities, clean rooms, and lots of nice features like Free Internet and Breakfast. Homewood just does a great job.

The fact that the front desk receptionist who came in about 7 pm who brought her own rockweiler dog and allowed him to walk around the front of the hotel lobby in and out outside hanging in the kitchen area no dog leech.. NOT GOOD! and the place is dog friendly which is fine it still took points away other than that it's a nice place

Seriously by far the best hotel we have ever stayed at! I LOVE the fact we have the option of picking a separate room for the boys! We had a king bed with its own bathroom, kitchen with stove, dishwasher, microwave, large fridge, living room, tv in ALL rooms and they boys have 2 queen beds and their own bathroom! To top it off, the staff is amazing! The ladies in the dining room are amazing! They helped us find some local attractions and have been over the top helpful! I don’t ever want to stay in another place besides this for a family trip!

We stay here when we go to visit family in the area and USUALLY it is a great place. While staying there over Christmas we experienced a few issues that would have never happened before.
1. There was a used soda can sitting right next to the sofa when we got in the room, making me wonder how clean the room was that we got.
2. The doors on the closet were broken and could barely be moved.
3. Spending a lot of late nights out we used the privacy door hanger. One of the days our six year old ran in and said, "someone is knocking on the door!" By the time we got out of bed, the knocking stopped all this to say it was housekeeping completely ignoring our privacy request.

I am considering not staying here next time because it just seems like things are slipping.

I was at the York, PA location. Everything was very clean. I was there for a business meeting. Staff was great.

Rooms are updated enough. Yummy local snack for diamond members. Breakfast was good with great service. Plenty of parking. Didn't see the gym. Check in was quick and easy.

Friendly, polite and helpful staff any time of my stay. Breakfast offerings were fresh, varied and delicious. All areas were neat and clean. Brewed coffee service available 24 hours.

Feels like home. Room clean and spacious. Staff pleasant and greets you ever time you walk through the door. Quiet....could not hear my neighbors. Would definitely stay here again.

The facility was very nice, the breakfast was lightyears ahead of what I've had at most other hotels. The only downfall was that the lady who was working when we arrived messed up our bill twice, and couldn't get us working key cards until after we were already sleeping.

Staff is very friendly and very helpful! We arrived on a Thursday, they mentioned that the evening social came with a complimentary dinner. I declined due to food allergies, and they went out of their way to pack a bag of gluten free items for my kids and delivered it to me. I was beyond impressed by this kind, thoughtful gesture. Our stay was comfortable and quiet, and our room was very clean. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We have loved our stay here so far! Very good service! We requested one of the multiple room suites since we have a one year old, and it has worked out perfectly to have her sleep in the sitting room in her pack n play (which they readily and quickly provided for us). Very clean and spacious suite. We love the well-lit mirror in the bathroom :) The only thing I don't really like about this specific location (not sure if all of them are like this) is the layout of the hotel... From our room, it's a very long walk to the lobby and breakfast area. The breakfast buffet has a lot of good and healthy options, and the people have been very friendly and helpful. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and had great amenities. We went to the pool and it was clean and relaxing. My family had a great stay.

She called our room after we checked in and made sure we were settling in okay. We asked for extra toiletries and they sent us up a little bag full! Our room was so spacious!
We had a kitchenette, table, living room area, and separate room with two queen beds that were just a dream to sleep on!
The bathroom was spacious and clean and perfect for taking a relaxing bath! There was great lighting and the separate living area was huge. The facilities were clean and great! Swimming Pool! Breakfast in the morning was easy, accessible and had a lot of variety! They had someone on staff to cook waffles and there were plenty of open seats to sit and enjoy my food.

The main lobby desk associates were always nice. Rooms were much bigger than I exspected. My room had a kitchen and dining area living room that closed off from the bed room sink area and bathroom. All of which were very clean. More room that I needed.

Homewood Suites was wonderful. We were able to check in early and our room was spacious, clean and comfortable for my family of 6. We have stayed here the last 3 years for swim meets and I would recommend it to anyone needing a room in the area.

Stayed the night while traveling for work. Great place with friendly and helpful staff. The room felt more like an appartment than a hotel room.

We booked this hotel very last minute as we decided to head up to Hershey Park for the day. I was tentative booking it as Hershey is about 30 minutes away, but several if the hotel sites listed this one as a great place at an even better price. To put that into perspective Hershey hotels were running $250 to $300 per night and this one had better reviews for $160 per night. Oh and did I say the breakfast here was great. Well it was.

So all said and done this is Homewood Suites is a gem. Great service, super clean and an all around great value.

Everyone at the hotel was so kind. It was clean, neat, and nice. When we forgot toothpaste, the front desk person gave us a travel size at no charge. Only negative...breakfast was over early for us, but we're used to a Pittsburgh "brunch" schedule on the weekends, so I guess it's just a personal preference.

The overall hotel is great. If I had a complaint (big if) it would be the light from the parking lot at night. But that's what curtains are for.

Homewood Suites in Emigsville PA hosted our wedding party and the hotel and staff were nothing but nice, clean, comfortable and helpful, despite our raucous group of guests.

This is by far my favorite place to stay and i travel 7 times a summer for work. We never have issues and we love the staff. This year scott hooked up a hose so we could wash our show car! Highly recommended!

My family and I stayed here over the weekend (apr 8-10) visiting relatives in the area, and we thought it was wonderful. The room was the 2 bedroom suite and it was very clean, lots of space, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast each morning was great. We would stay here again in the future. We recently stayed while going to Hershey and Lancaster. It was 35-40 minutes away from both. We had a 1 bedroom suite which was perfect for our family of five. The full size fridge and 2 burner stove was unexpected for this suite but much appreciated.
My sons LOVED the pool which was up to 4 feet deep; perfect for 4 and 5 year olds. The breakfast was great. I am very picky when it comes to beds and this bed was actually comfortable and I had a good night's sleep.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again and would definitely look for these chains elsewhere.

I would choose this hotel again gladly, even for a longer stay. Even though there is carpeting, the air quality in our studio suite on the 4th floor was the best I have encountered in any hotel or rental. I did request "green" cleaning (they wipe everything down with baking soda after cleaning to remove irritants). The only irritant in the room was the bar soap (I used my own soap, but if management would provide an unscented soap option, that would be helpful--I did not try the Neutragena shampoos, etc). Staff was exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Amenities and space in the room were exceptional. Breakfast was a notch above the usual continental, including fruits, yogurts, self-serve fresh waffles, and a hot egg dish. The price was very reasonable. Congratulations, Homewood Suites! Please design more like this one and keep working hard to keep them clean and chemical free.
Only 2 other comments for those who are chemically sensitive or have asthma/allergies: 1) Don't attempt to use the pool or exercise room--they are wisely located in a separate building but the air is very moldy and 2) You may wish to remind staff not to smoke or wear perfume or aftershave if entering your room.

I stayed a week at this brand new Homewood Suites and loved every minute. The hotel is brand new and they take great care of it. The rooms are beautifully furnished and spotless. My room had two 32" Samsung LCD tv's with digital cable and actual HD channels. There were over 70 channels available and not one of them was Hiltons stupid pay per view and information junk! Cute little kitchen, stocked with popcorn and coffee and tea. The spacious bathroom was great as well. I will stay here every time I am in the area. The breakfast was ok, service has been better at other Homewoods I have visited. One night they had some delicious looking rotisserie chicken for dinner, all included in your room rate. They also had Yuengling Beer on tap for the complimentary drinks during dinner. Yum!
