Contrary to the description, this is not a luxury hotel. It’s a decent place to stay for a couple of nights and it’s very close to the beach. Be prepared for breakfast though— there’s only an hour and a half for all of the guests in the hotel to have breakfast, and there’s only ONE waffle machine. The breakfast area looks like a laundry closet, and you can imagine that only a few people at a time can fit in there. There aren’t many tables and chairs for everyone either.

Generally speaking, the staff is friendly.

Very happy with my 2 night stay. Chris at front desk was amazing, made sure I had my ocean view. First time leaving Michigan I wouldn't of wanted to stay anywhere else. So close to beach and room was super cold which was awesome. Thank you for a great stay. 😎

This hotel is very close to the beach. That's about the only good thing I have to say. It was just a low quality beach hotel, not very clear or pleasant. The staff was not helpful and didn't seem to really know what was going on. The pictures online are misleading, our room was not nice. The sheets didn't fit on the bed and were poor quality, very scratchy and bumpy. The towels were also very low quality, as was pretty much everything about this hotel. I think calling it no frills would be putting it a little too nicely. It was nice that the room had cups and plates and silverware.

It was a good place very convenient where u wanna get too and ur right behind the beach they give umbrellas and chairs for the beach . breakfast was horrible taste very bad.... rooms where decent but I guess from what am use too over all I have it a 3 star cause when I try to get a copy of my plane tickets the guy mite have thought I was drunk or something witch I was not that when I asked for Introductions how to print them out the second time gave me some attitude i was just reassuring my self just incase I do something wrong but he mite have had bad day not sure ... so if u want to stay somewhere convenient to get to places it would be here but if u want comfortable and still be convenient not the place and they throw out ur food so make sure u put a note that’s not garbage lol

Decent place to laid down after partying all day and night. Beware: get your daily bath towels as soon as possible. Staff are a little stingy with giving clean towels.

Amazing hotel! Was here for a destination wedding. Super friendly staff who gave us beach chairs and umbrellas for the beach. Breakfast is pretty basic but the common area is great with a patio outside as well.

This place is a little old but it was clean and in a great location. Staff was very helpful and friendly! I would stay here again for sure!

Appears to be recently upgraded. Affordable! So clean and centrally located in South Beach in Miami. Restaurants, shopping, people watching galore. Will always try here first when going to Miami are.

Doesn't look like the pictures, not even close. Central AC that you can't control. The ONLY good thing that it is close to the beach and the main streets.

Wonderful staff! You can't beat the location for the price. Everyone was very nice and very accommodating, we really enjoyed our stay. When we come back to Miami we will stay here!

Very spacious room and good bed. However the elevator and some hotel areas look very old.

Exceptionally friendly staff, Breakfast included, beach is less than a block away.

As mentioned just a walk to the beach (not even 4 mins but less). They helped us check in an hour earlier. Our rooms were really nice with some cutlery ready for use too. We also had a small balcony with seats n table. The breakfast was lovely with a number of options. They provide beach towels complimentary and beach chairs and umbrella are also provided for a deposit which was returned. There is also a cafe downstairs that has good food for reasonable price. We didn't have to use our car once we reached here. Overall a perfect stay!

Good enough and not too expensive. The location is beautiful, quiet and very close to the beach. The staff is very helpful, always available and friendly. The view from our room was simply amazing. Could be cleaner and breakfast could have more variety

Both of the woman who work at the front desk are exceptional. Sweet and helpful. Hotel is super close to the beach. Nice deli market right next door. Hotel has free breakfast. It isn't fancy but location is good.

This hotel is certainly well used and the rooms were rather small with no frills but it was quiet and the location was very good. This hotel is only steps from the beach and is within quick walking distance to iconic ocean drive. The staff was all very friendly and there were no hassles with booking or checking out. If you want a $400 a night resort, go down the road and pay for one. If you want a $120 hotel in safe location with very good access to many things to do, this is a good place to start saving money. Pros: good location, quick and easy, cheap, good breakfast, and friendly staff. Cons: it's old and worn, the WiFi is very slow, very basic rooms (but there was a fridge, microwave, and flat screen with cable), no pool, no parking, AC is not adjustable so it may be lacking on hot days.
