This has generally been my go-to hotel when in the DC area, but I've noticed recently that their 90-minute happy hours (M, T, W) have gone downhill. They now have a guy who counts your drinks on a clipboard, cutting you off at two. I've not experienced that at a Marriott before. It does put a damper on that short social period. I may pass on this place next time.

Stayed here for a week long business trip. The rooms are awesome! They really try to make you feel at home here. The room was clean, breakfast was great and the overall service was very helpful and friendly. There is also a great walking area right outside the hotel with lots of shops. Overall, it was a great experience.

Over all the service was great. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Room very spacious. Bed we're very comfortable. Happy hour was awesome

Spent the last three days here for business. The room was well appointed and spotless. Every staff member was considerate, hospitable, friendly and helpful. Easy access to restaurants and metro. Lovely visit.

Management and staff are so helpful. We had to move in temporarily due to flooding damage and they were so helpful. Room was clean, pool is nice and the free drinks Mon through Wednesday made it a little more enjoyable

Great location. Great amenities. Breakfast is above average. Good but not great. Rooms are perfect size for singles or couples. Bathroom is average, but water pressure and heat are top notch. I would prefer the desk in a different location instead of being against the wall directly in front of the door as you walk in.

Not much of a view. I really cannot have the curtains open because there are high rise apartments 50 feet away across the street.

I am a regular guest at the residence inn Arlington courthouse and have never had a negative experience. The employees are all helpful and always friendly. Parking can be a bit difficult if you have a larger vehicle, or are not super comfortable with tight spaces. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, all having a kitchenette in them. Overall I look forward to my stays at the residence inn Arlington courthouse.

A very nice clean and modern location. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the area. They offer reception mingling and breakfast. The only down side is the pool, gym and laundry are on the ground floor next to the check in desk. That just makes the lead up feel very strange. Still very nice place with full kitchen and great bathrooms. The mattress needs work but there has been worse.

I'm here for Police Week this year. When I arrived at 3pm my room wasn't available. So I got a bite to eat. I came back at 5pm and was given a very nice corner room on the 6th floor with a great view from the bedroom. The hotel had a happy hour and gave me a $10 voucher to use at the food truck outside. Wow, a free catered dinner! Great room and service. I will be back again and again!

Great location in the heart of Arlington, VA. They have a paid parking facility underneath the hotel. Walking distance to plenty of restaurants in the area. Service was great! Hope to come back sometime.

I have stayed here twice, the last being this past Wednesday night. The suites are impressive, as I'm accustomed to the typical hotel room set-up. Also, the location is quite convenient, as our company has a location on Wilson Blvd. within walking distance. I realize there are many restaurants within a block or two (including Fire Works Pizza in the adjoining building), though I kind of expect a restaurant off the lobby or something. That is my laziness speaking more than anything, I think. I ended up getting a few frozen food items from the small market they have near the front desk. Speaking of the front desk, the people working there have always been very professional.

Great clean rooms. The rooms are really large. There is a nice kitchen area and nice seoffing area. Really friendly staff. The breakfast in the morning always has lots of choices and is good. The price can be a little steep at times here but seems to be worth it if your going to be staying a while.

The hotel accommodations were great. The rooms were very clean and well furnished. The recent renovation was noticeable and appreciated. However, the parking is a bit expensive at $18 a night. Would stay here again.

Great hotel! I especially like the evening reception. They have an excellent choice of beers, wine and small plate food. Within walking distance to restaurants, pubs and even a movie theater. The only negative thing i can say is that, after i checked out, received an email from corporate stating to extend two more days. I went back to reception to see if they could check me back in and the receptionist in turn told me that she couldnt check me in and to make the reservation online. So I guess walk-ins are not recommended. Needless to say, i booked somewhere else. Maybe the receptionist was just having a bad morning. Again, great hotel and excellent location!

Great staff and outstanding location, especially if you have children. Close to lots of restaurants and parks, plus the metro is not far. The rooms are clean and spacious and the included breakfast is nice.

Our favorite hotel to stay in around DC. A literal 2 minute walk to the Metro, and the wood-fired pizza restaurant that is attached tot he hotel is AMAZING. Parking is secure under the hotel, so I don't mind paying the fee for it. Rooms are very modern and updated. Added bonus - it's very easy to get to from 66.

Wonderful room, comfortable beds. Pool and hot tub were being repainted and were closed, room was booked 2 months in advance, would have appreciated advanced notice of this planned event as the pool was one of the main reasons we chose to stay here.

Great place to stay...clean and helpful staff. The room was perfect...basically an apartment (with kitchen, refrigerator, appliances etc), king size bed and small dining table a few steps from the kitchen. I think a fantastic place to stay if you have kids. The location is perfect. Close to the train station and only a few quick stops from D.C. museum areas. The Residence Inn is near an AMC and a small plaza like area with places to eat.

Did not spend much time there but the hotel appeared new and in good shape. The rooms were spacious and comfy. Did not interact with the staff much.

Rooms were clean. Service was nice. Only problem was a lamp had to be fixed, the living room TV wasn't working and the food was pretty plain.

The location was incredibly convenient to visit DC via the Court House Metro Station and with many restaurants within easy walking distance too!

Location is great, just a couple blocks from the strip on Clarendon. Rooms are clean and the common areas are modern. Parking is ample.

Room was nice, security was surprisingly tight for a hotel which is reassuring that hooligans won't be causing any trouble before visiting the bar scene here. Breakfast was way better than expected, seemed to be real eggs

The front desk personnel were very nice and professional. The food from Fire Works Pizza was really good also.

One of the best hotels in this area probably. I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is located in a very upscale and safe location. The Washington Metro line is just close by so it's great in terms of connectivity as well. The rooms are very clean, furnished very well. They also refill coffee, popcorn daily which is great! The breakfast was also very good. The place has many restaurants nearby and you wouldn't have to worry too much about getting food around here.

This hotel must be very new. Great amenities, perfect room with zero complaints. Room size is large with a full size fridge, stove, sink, etc. The breakfast is fully stocked with lots of great hot and cold options. Fresh fruit every day. Happy hour is only Monday-Wednesday. They had a food truck one night with fresh chicken!

Upon check-in the staff was very friendly and provided prompt, corteous service. Checked me in very quickly and assisted me in determining whether the vehicle I was driving would fit in their garage. The garage is very narrow to get in, consistent with most garages in the district.

I stopped to talk to sales about a block of rooms for the Marine Corp Marathon in October. Oscar Lazarte was amazing and answered all my questions and put together a package super quickly.

We stopped here after seeing so many reviews. The line was out the door. All they serve is Rotisserie Chicken ,french fries, rice and cole slaw. They also have a few desserts. Simple and super. Tasty seasoned rotisserie chicken cooked to perfection. We were six in our party and all ate with leftovers for $40. Great place

The cleanliness of my room (studio) & friendliness of the staff (front desk, housekeeping, and food service).

My husband and I loved staying here. Some of the morning and evening staff are friendly and hospitable. Mostly all the housekeepees were extremely kind and sincerely wanted to be of service to us. The Hispanic morning shift front desk staff was always smiling and hospitable.
However, a few black staff, one afternoon/evening Hispanic staff and one kitchen Hispanic worker stared us down or pretend to want to assist us which showed on their facial and body language. We got very bad vibes and erked whenever we wanted to go to them for assistance. It'll be nice if they got training from that very sweet Hispanic staff because she really maked us welcomed and our stay worth every penny despite the other rude staff who made us feel very uncomfortable. Would have rated this a 5 had it not been for the few untrained staff at the front desk and one kitchen staff. If they don't like their jobs and don't like to smile nor make their customers feel welcomed, especially because we pay a lot to have good service and stay; Then, they should really find another job.
On the side note, this was one of the cleanest hotels we've stayed at from many years of traveling.

Parking situation is very iffy. Breakfast area isn't entirely accommodating. Staff is friendly. Rooms are nice and clean. Accommodations are just weak compared to other hotels I've been.

This hotel is very well furnished. The bedroom suites are comfortable and spacious. The hotel is 3 minutes walk from the DC Metro and has a ton of restaurants that are open late within a 5 minute walk radius. The parking here is expensive at $17/night so you're better off parking in an adjacent building @ $12/day or $6/overnight. The breakfast buffet at this Residence Inn is amongst the best I've ever experienced that includes Nutella shade spread, Greek yogurt, camembert cheese, iced coffee and other standard family-friendly assortment of items.

Staff is really nice and helpful. Dog friendly. Rooms are nice and clean. Happy hour every week with a different theme. Free breakfast is nice and a great way to get your day started.

I stayed a week, with the first 3 day having problem lock doors but when I reported they fixed it. Every day sometimes they give shampoo, but not body lotion. I need to hide and they will give it in the next day cleaning. Overall I like it because they have all, like refrigerator, microwave, iron, little gym, swimming pool, and laundry it's okay

This hotel has a great location that is walkable to many local resources. I stay here on business trips. The breakfast has a nice selection and the happy hour events are fun in the evening.

This hotel is one of the best. They accommodate four legged family members. Provide a treat bag for the pups too.

Complained about the dog barking constantly in the room next to us and the front desk didn't really seem to care all that much, although they did legitimately attempt to contact the owner. HVAC in the room was noisy as hell and kept waking me up in the middle of the night. Other than that, rooms are clean and nice, and the hot tub/pool area is good too.

New, clean, great location by shopping and business center of town. Also near a metro stop. In house restaurant isn't actually affiliated with the hotel and strangely only provides room service at random times. Underground parking available for a fee.

Our 4-person family is ending a 3-month stay here, and we don't want to leave. The general manager personally and entire staff top to bottom has provided tremendous, courteous customer service, going out of their way to promptly handle any inquiry and offer coupons and recommendations for neighborhood eateries. It's great for kids - our 4-year-old has enjoyed playing in the pool and the large courtyard riverwalk fountain. The hotel is clean, suites well-designed and equipped, and the neighborhood quite walkable and lively. Included meals are generally good, though they do get repetitive. I have traveled and lived in 20 countries, staying in "luxury," residential, and other types of accommodations, and this has been our best hotel experience hands down. We'll be back.
