Great location, excellent service!

Very nice hotel quite close to the train station and to the city center.
My room was big and clean.

This is one of those rare hotels in Switzerland that combines good value for money with an excellent room (great shower!), friendly service, and a superb location. Top it off with a nice breakfast buffet and you have the perfect place in Lausanne. Forget the Beau Rivage, come here, you'll love it, as will your wallet!!!

Walking distance to the main train station(Laussane Gare).You have to walk up a steep hill though from the station. McDonald's and Starbucks are nearby. The rooms are nice, the one on the top floor have views of the snowy mountains across Lake Geneva. I recommend that you ask for top floor facing lake Geneva. it is worth it.

Only stayed for breakfast buffet, but it was delicious. Hotel looks nice too, will stay there next time. The staff is very dedicated and friendly.

Stayed in the old building. The room was fine but it has this old carpet smell. The air con did not work

Good hostel in really calming place. 20-25 mins away from Oxford street/ station. The garden was really good. Bathroom were clean.Dorm beds were comfortable. Breakfast was fine.

Why would one want to stay anywhere else in Lausanne? Alpha-Palmiers is well-positioned, clean, quiet, airy, unpretentious with a unfailingly positive and pleasant staff, and a good restaurant. If only all hotels were like this!

Good place for holding conferences and meetings. Well-maintained and good use of natural lighting. Very close to the train station. Food options are good but a bit more oil than needed.

Ok hotel located a stone’s throw from the train station of Lausanne. Although it tries hard to be an “upscale” designer hotel, really, it isn’t. It’s more of a business friendly hotel, good for the corporate crowd and small to medium conferences. It’s basically a more stylish modern version of a Hyatt or Marriott. The major positive of this hotel is they have a really nice outdoor terrace nestled in a nice Asian themed garden complete with zen like river. It’s a slice of heaven in the middle of an otherwise busy city

It's a very nice hotel, spacious room with comprehensive hotel amenities and very close to the train station. It's also very affordable, cheaper than most of the other hotels I stayed in Switzerland. Only downside is you need to climb a steep slope from the train station to get to the hotel. Dragging a heavy luggage is not the easiest thing to do. Still, it's highly recommended and I would stay at this hotel again.

Nice location near train station. Hotel restaurant was great. Service was really good. Room was spacious, but some furnishings were worn.

(Only reviewing the bar area) Went for a drink, it's not cheap and the atmosphere is a little lacking but was fine for one or two.

Located near the railway station, has a great service, nice calm ambience, a terrace in summer. Food is well presented but not remarkable. A bit on the expensive side, unless you have lunch menu.

Ideal for business meetings in the lounge and lunch.
Just 3 mins from Lausanne mainstays on the way to the old town.
I met with a business partner to discuss opportunities. It was quite busy but still discrete on the comfortable Diwans.
We had a Thai food lunch afterwards.
Will definitely choose this place again next time.

Nice hotel, altough this time I had a bit strange small single room without a view, the previous time I had a double room looking out at the interior of the hotel.

The hotel is well situated in the center of Lausanne. Just about 100meters from the railway station. It has a nice oriental restaurant. Excellent for professional meetings,since it has different conference rooms.

Nice hotel. The rooms are spacious and modern with many amenities. The bed was very warm and confortable, the minibar had a lot of variety and there was also an ironing station. It is located very close to the train station in a very nice street. The breakfast is a small but delicious buffet.

Very conveniently located near Lausanne train station. Decent bar, good breakfast, interesting restaurant with Asian influences. The staff was very helpful.

I've now stayed at this hotel twice. The first time was great, big quiet room, lovely service, but this last time was subpar. Someone booked on my behalf, and mistakenly booked a single room, which was tiny and facing the street, so while this was obviously my mistake for not catching the error, I was surprised that such terrible rooms existed in this hotel! The real problem was how dirty it was, a gigantic stain in the carpet that looked like someone had either thrown up or been murdered here, absolutely disgusting. And because it was street facing it was very noisy, as in you need earplugs. Since it was indeed my error for not checking the room before check-in I can't really complain about that, but what was most shocking was when I passed on the feedback about the dirty room and gigantic carpet stain at check-out the next morning and they obviously could care less. In fact, the woman was quite rude about it. As a potential loyal customer you would assume they would at least pretend to care. I travel to Lausanne frequently for work so will now look at other options.

Centrally located to Lausanne City center. Breakfast is not bad and neither are the rooms. My only complaint would be the fitness is really small and not well equipped and the rooms them selves are really small and the layout is not great.

Great breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. Clean, large rooms with comfortable beds. Great water pressure in the shower. Ask for an inside courtyard room and it will be quiet.

Great location close to railway station. Modern rooms, although some have very long and quirky access. Breakfast is too expensive if purchased separately.

Very expensive Thai restaurant. tasty but the 3 chillies mention in the menu is something not spycy at all (very European way of food and taste). Go to eat in a real Thailand restaurant next to this one ; the taste will be the same and the price.... 4x less expensive (it s not a joke). The quantity of food is very small as well I would say it is 8x more expensive as everything is very small.

I stayed at this hotel on a business trip. The hotel is very well situated, within walking distance from the train station and the town center. The service is very amicable and the rooms are comfortable and well furnished.

A triumph of modern design - at tbe expense of practicality. Multiple disconnected levels with a mixture of swish moden glass lifts and creaky shuddering old ones. Steps and ramps everywhere to complicate connectivity. Looks like a James Bond villain's lair - and explains why they are so cranky!

Service and food always on top for years now. The standards are really high in this classy Thaï restaurant and the deco is amazing and romantic. Prices are reasonable...
I strongly advice a fried rice as meal and the Mango as desert.

It is close to the train station and that's the best thing. The rooms are big but they have a glass panel to the bathroom (not to much privacy). The wifi is not the best one but works. It's still a good place to stay in Lausanne
