Simple, well-located, great for swim and sport.

Instead of looking for a hotel with pool and fitness, why not stay in the hotel of a sports complex? This is a straightforward hotel, and reasonably modern, although it has a few scuff marks showing. It's just next to the rear exit of the central station, so easy to reach in loads of ways. The rates are accessible and the staff are friendly and down-to-earth.

Just ask in reception for vouchers to access the pool, sauna, fitness and bowling in the adjacent complex. There are various courts and ping pong tables around but I did not try these. Instead of a cramped pool that fills with a handful of folk and you have to flip every ten metres, you get a pool that never ends! This is a 100m circular pool where you keep on going round and round as long as you like, or at least as long as you can.

My room had no air conditioning (nice change in a way, big opening windows) nor minibar (not that I ever use it) but there was a kettle and in reception you help your to cups, tea and coffee, and you can buy cold drinks. The shower was ok and the bathroom spacious, although mirror and shelf heights might not suit shorter adults or children. The bed was comfortable, and seating options were varied.

The breakfast buffet options in 'vestauranten' across the courtyard were good quality, and a reasonable choice, although you may be used to a wider range of options. The choices for places to eat and drink later, though are very extensive, as you are on the doorstep of the meat packing district's range of bars and eateries. The location around this side of the station has has quite a number of individuals who look like vagrants, but in all the times I've visited there I have never been bothered at all by anyone.

Solid three star hotel with pros and cons. There's noise from the railways and the room could have been cooler. As for pros, free pool and bowling, breakfast was good and staff was super friendly.

Good location, great services, friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Down to earth, simple, but enough. No air conditioning, so we had to keep the window open and the noise from the nearby road and the tracks kept us awake.

It's a sport center with very simple clean hotel rooms that has a lot to offer. The breakfast is sufficient with egg and ham, cheese, different cereal, porridge ,yogurt, fruit salad, Danish pastries ,a variety of Scandinavian bread.
The hotel offers free coffee and tea. Free gym ,free spa jacuzzi,free sauna, free pool. Has bowling facilities and cafe inside . I m very impressed with the amount of services that this place has to offer and it's around five minutes walk to central train station.

The room was clean and confortably. The staff was very friendly. The pool was awesome. The breakfast was delicious.

Great value for money. The location is top notch and within walking distance to lots of sights and restaurants. Room is simple but good sized. Heading for breakfast bring your coat in wintertime as you have to cross the street. Receptionists are very helpful 😊

Simply perfect!!!! Nice rooms, fabulous breakfast, and if you desire some snack you can have it anytime for free in the lounge... The people who work there were very kind and helpful!

Good! Specially swimming pool..

Good location a few minutes walk from Central Station, clean and functional rooms with excellent swimming pool facilities.

This is more like a hostel, the bed is too low, too small, cover sheet is too small, no fridge, no safe lock, no microwave, room is cold, no irons. But it locates a few minutes from the central train station, it has a beautiful pool or bowling alley, its around a lot stuff and its free breakfast. I love the hotel but the room very sucks. So its a no for me next time

Located in the centre near the central station. An old building with rooms not very well designed. No air conditioning in the room. Becomes very noisy if you open the window.

Great service. Basic rooms, clean and the pool and gym were fantastic. Breakfast is nice and traditional.

Helt ok. Greie rom. Kjekt med badeland tilknyttet hotellet.

Store og luftige rom, litt slitt parkett på gulvene, og ellers litt slitt, men det er så super-nice at man har tilgang til et fantastisk svømmeanlegg at det overskygger det negative. Frokosten er enkel, men god og serveres i et restaurantlokale utenfor hotellbygget, rett over tunet.

We booked our stay at DGI-byens hotel a couple of days before arrival. The factor that made us choose DGI-byens is that it was one of few wich had a pool, everything looked really great on the Pictures - looked like a high class hotel in centre of Copenhagen. For one night stay we payed about 3000sek
The location of the hotel is actually really bad, the railwaystation is right next to it witch means a lot of noise from trains, we expected some restaurants close nearby but for some reason this piece of central copenhagen is only backyard.
The room was sadly a real dissapointment too, it smelled strongly of perfume, obviously to hide a funky smell from the bathroom. There seemed to be no ventilation in the room so we had to have the balchony door open (remember the train traffic right outside) as much as possible to get some fresh air in the room and get rid of the perfume + funky smell. Further the bathroom was not properly cleaned, the shower area grouts were misscoloured and could "easily" be properly cleaned. Chairs in the room had a cloth seat witch seemed to have never been cleaned from spilling of earlier guests. Wooden floor in the room was really worn + nothing hanging on the walls. Beds were alright tough.
At the night of our stay there was a electro music festival right next door, the base was madly high from time to time witch made the whole building litteraly shake, sadly the hotel didnt inform about the festival at all - it came as a suprise Reading a poster in the elevator - Music was played at same high volume til about 1:30 am.

Sengen var knapt så god - gik konstant fra hinanden på midten.
3 overnatninger med et TV som frøs konstant. Ikke helt rigtigt - vi valgte at tjekke ud sent om aftenen inden den 3. overnatning.
Gratis svømning og Bowling er et stort plus.
Minder mere om et vandrehjem eller en Efterskole. Ingen hotel-stemning.
Ingen klager, men ikke et sted vi vil vælge igen.

Ok hotel with great location, just few minutes from central railway station and Tivoli.

Room cleaning was remarkably good. Rooms have bare minimum amenities. No minibar/fridge. Coffee/tea (set) has to be purchased from the reception. No airconditioning, just a table fan. Windows can be opened. Swimming and other opportunities either free or with discount for hotel quests (depending on the service). Breakfast is bread slices with smoked salmon, pork or turkey and yogurt and fruits (which usually run out before breakfast is over) - personally found this breakfast style much more satisfactory than the standard found everywhere else. Location was both convenient (close to center) as well as inconvenient as there were noisy summer festivities near the hotel. Surprisingly, rail traffic was hardly audiable. Would choose again.

Buon hotel, ubicato strategicamente vicino alla stazione centrale e ha vari servizi inclusi (piscina, bowling. Ping pong) il prezzo, anche se non è economico, è accettabile considerando i costi di Copenhagen. Consigliato per vacanza anche con bambini. La colazione non ci ha soddisfatto perché non è in linea con quanto noi italiani vorremmo mangiare (no marmellata, no cioccolata e il latte era solo freddo)
