Only went there for a meeting, but I can say very friendly staff, good inhouse parking, nice ambience and great meeting room on 3rd floor with beautiful views and deck!

Had a wonderful staycation at Element Hotel over the weekend. Our suite was modern, spacious, and had everything we needed. Great location and walking distance to the skytrain which made it easy to get around. The staff were professional and helpful - Cara Tsang, in particular was very friendly and even upgraded our room.
We had such a wonderful experience and would highly recommend it!

Room is clean and spacious. Great location, lots of shopping and eating options within walking distance.
Parking is limited and annoying. Need to take one elevator to get out of the parking lot and then head over to another elevator to get to your floor. There are only 2 elevators for 20 floors so there can sometimes be a bit of wait. The elevator stopped on almost every floor on the way down in the morning.
The fitness room is a complete joke. No universal equipment...dumbbells up to 50 pounds (which is enough).
Barely any space...no space to even stretch.
Gym next door for $25/visit. Element needs to work out a deal with the gym for its guests.

Stayed in this hotel for 10 days while visiting my girlfriends family in Burnaby/Vancouver. Absolutely perfect. The room was very spacious and clean, and the shower was amazing. The hotel was modern and aesthetically pleasing. The breakfast every morning was also great - and it changes daily in terms of what is offered, which is a nice touch. The staff was also friendly and accommodating. Definitely a great place to stay for an affordable price. Highly recommended.

You generally get to know a hotel quite well when you stay at a hotel for 2 weeks traveling alone for work. The hotel was always clean, food was always good and everyone was extremely accommodating. My favorite part was the staff. Every staff member in the last 2 weeks without exception made eye contact, greeted me and was helpful if required. They took pride in going above & beyond to make you feel comfortable. I truly believe this is a rare commodity in this current environment. Thank you for making my business travels very comfortable. I will see you again!

This has been our second visit to the element hotel. While the prices have gone up from a couple years ago, we still feel like the value is still there. The service is always friendly, rooms are clean, we always put the pool and fitness room to use. But for us, the biggest selling point is the kitchenette. When we make the trip up the Vancouver /Richmond /Burnaby it is to eat, eat, eat. Being able to bring back leftovers and heat them back up for a midnight snack is great. We will definitely be back as long as the prices don't continue to climb.

We choose a room with balcony, it’s very comfortable, kids have enough space to play hide-and-seek game, we can enjoy our coffee time with wonderful view on the balcony. Their kitchen is well equipped and clean!! Here has efficient service: we met a situation is a stranger go into our room(maybe one guest goes to wrong room), they responded quickly(manager, technician, receptionist...), the problem solved properly, we feel good. The parking lot has enough spaces,you just need pay some parking fee but safe.
Here is good for family, a big shopping mall, supermarket and many restaurants near by, location is very very good, very convenient. If you need by metro,the skytrain is very close.

I travel a lot and this is one of my favorite hotels. I stay there every time I go to Vancouver which is almost every 3 months. It's modern, beautiful, clean and perfectly maintained hotel. Rooms are big and clean. They serve a good breakfast which is very important for me.

A very pleasant surprise and we are happy we opted for this hotel. It’s owned by Westin and yes the amenities speak for itself. It’s a mid sized Hotel with facilities like Gym (way better than many), mid size pool and sauna. Grocery store, restaurants are nearby. The close parking is limited ($16 per night) and the extended one is on P3. Breakfast is standard limited option continental breakfast.

I was here for a training event with my company a few weeks back and I arrived early to help with check ins. I’d brought myself dinner from home in a Tupperware container and I asked one of the staff members if they had a microwave. They didn’t have a public one but the gentleman said he would take it into the kitchen and heat it up for me. Not only did he heat it up, he brought it out to me on a real plate with cutlery and some napkins - I was blown away! Such a small occurrence yet I thought it was so thoughtful and definitely way out of his job description.

From Toronto room 1610 Element Hotel. We were visiting for our niece wedding. My family and I really enjoyed the stay at the hotel. The staff was super friendly and the food was delicious and fresh. Rooms were clean on daily basis and well stocked with towels etc... Front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. Overall the stay was good with excellent service. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone, and would like to thank all the staff for making our stay a wonderful experience.

Satveer CHEEMA room 1601: I had booked the hotel for my wedding. The room that I had was great with a beautiful balcony which we used for our photo shoot. I really would like to thank all the staff members for providing top notch customer service and a special thank you to house keeping staff for making sure rooms were sparkling clean and smelling fresh. Very nice hotel with excellent staff. Clean and spacious rooms. I really enjoyed the breakfast at this hotel albeit the food was quite blend but they had a number of variety of options to choose from. The kitchen in the room was a great add on albeit I was not able to use it, it was good to know that I had the option. Very convenient to get to and surrounded within walking distance to tons of restaurants and malls.

Absolutely the best service I've ever had. I even have my dog with me and she's a golden lab over 80 pounds and there's no pet fee at all. Great staff and room cleaners. The room cleaners even gave my dog water in her kennel when her water dish was empty. 100% 5 stars. They go above and beyond.

Rooms have a mini kitchen with microwave, toaster, knifes, forks, glasses, fridge and plates. Modern clean rooms. No cafe or restaurant in the hotel but some nearby. Pool and hot tub available.
Bed was comfortable.

Good hotel with comfortable beds. Good for proximity to Metrotown mall and office towers. Kitchenette is a nice touch for those planning longer stays and want to manage their meal costs. Limited amenities on site but only a short walk for most. Do your research.

Rooms were very nice - clean and had all amenities needed. Location was nice, short 5-10 minute walk to Metropolis at Metrotown. Service was also excellent. Was checked in quickly and the appetizers and breakfast that were included were delightful.

A bit hit and miss on the food front, I've had very good as well as poor. Service is generally prompt and attentive. Overall a good selection of pasta and Italian entrees. Children welcome.

Great area. Some really good restaurants within walking distance (like the one in the building and the dumpling place right outside). The room was super nice and the waterfall shower was amazing! You do have to pay to park at the hotel though.

Loved it! Everything was clean. Water pressure great. Kitchenette was complete. Breakfast was exceptional for hotel breakfast; they even had smoothies! Indoor pool was really nice. Small but really warm without being too warm. Would stay here again.

Attended a work Christmas party using the banquet room on the 3rd floor. Limited spacing inside, so the hallway is also used to have the buffet food. We're allowed access outside patio for fresh air or for the smokers, which is convenient since we don't have to go outside for that down on the main floor.

This is a great hotel. Rooms are modern, clean, and new. Great views from the upper floor rooms and balcony. Parking is paid, at check in, but reasonable. Very cool place to stay in this area!

Beautiful modern hotel, few minutes from Metropolis @ Metrotown. Friendly staff, large comfortable rooms with beautiful views, and a full kitchen! Everything was on point except for one thing. Finding something to watch on the TV in our room was nearly impossible because they do not have an interactive guide as apart of the Shaw cable package they subscribed to. This made watching anything on TV tedious and difficult. Please fix ASAP :) Other than that, outstanding stay! Would highly reccomend.

One of my favourite places to stay when travelling. The hotel is new, & the rooms are very nice. The location is great with very many shops & restaurants in walking distance.

Great location, close to transit, food, shopping. Very clean and well maintained. Friendly service by front desk staff and house keeping (Harji was so wonderful and helpful). It was great having a pool and laundry facilities on site as well. We would definitely recommend this hotel to singles or families traveling to the Vancouver area!

A very modern looking hotel. I spent the majority of my time at the conference room which was nice and spacious. Very nice mountain views that I was not expecting.

Rooms are clean with modern lines. Complementary breakfast is standard fare but still delicious. Easy commute to work in Burnaby

I went to the Element for a professional work seminar. The parking was paid for by the company, and was as easy as registering my car license plate at the front reception desk. The meeting room the seminar was held in was clean and the washrooms/facilities were also very well maintained. The catered food provided by the hotel was delicious and the one server the room had provided great service to all of us, and made sure all the food and refreshments were always topped up and kept full. Great venue for hosting professional work seminars!

clean and bright. the view is good. we can see mountains from our room. I love the fridge. I can put all my desserts, fruits and snacks in. the location also is good. walk distance to crystal mall and metropolis. And, the most important is the simmer huang is on their 1st floor LOL

Love this hotel! The rooms are very modern with floor to cieling glass offering great views of the entire region. My one bedroom suite had a walk out balcony. Amazing deal close to the heart of the city.

Great, modern, and clean studio apartment style hotel rooms! The floors are laminate, which is nice to have instead of worn, ugly carpet. The room we stayed in had a sink, stovetop, refrigerator, and dishwasher. All in all, a pretty nice place to stay if you don't need to stay within the main city.

My 5 or 6th visit? Love, love coming here and pretending I live in the Big City. Clean, still new, staff very welcoming to my family who live nearby. Shopping, food, cinemas, sky train, buses, all very accessible on foot. Already looking forward to my next visit. :)

The rooms are element and modern. They have all of the amenities that we required during our stay. The complimentary breakfast was a great perk and actually tasted good. We would recommend families or those on business to stay here!

Clean, modern, and comfortable. We stayed in a studio suite. It had a well equipped mini kitchen (full fridge with freezer, microwave, and dishwasher, etc.), comfortable king size bed, awesome view, nice chair, spacious desk, good size TV (although no cable channels), free high speed WiFi, and good size bathroom with nice shower head. The pool, sauna, and hot tub were nice. Breakfast is included (from 6am to 10am), and it is also nice - good coffee :)

One of my favourite places to stay while working. Hotel is amazing in all ways. Make sure you get up for breakfast and enjoy an egg sandwich overlooking the mountains while sitting on an outdoor patio. I love this place:)

I had brunch at Element for a business event. There was ample parking space which was provided in conjunction with the event. The space was large with a nice view of the surrounding area. Service staff were courteous and helpful in directing guests to the correct floor and room. Brunch food was provided and was ok. The sausage and bacon was soggy. This may be because of the buffet style service.

This place is amazing. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the breakfast is great - lots of options. Service is #1. Will definitely come again.

It's been said already, but I'll pile on: incredible place. Modern, stylish and clean. I don't stay in hotels much, so when I saw my king size suite, I was completely floored. I swear, I'd happily live in that room.

Of course, there's also a huge mall within walking distance with the Skytrain attached, so an easy trip to Vancouver proper.

Good location if you like being next to a large mall. It is a bonus in that there is good rapid transit nearby if you want to go into Vancouver inexpensively. The rooms are modern and well-appointed. Pleasant staff. Minimal but adequate breakfast. Comfy beds. Lots of restaurants nearby.

The room was very nice and clean. The small kitchen has everything my own kitchen has: fridge, dishwasher, sink, stove, dishes, etc. The pool was good, though a bit cold. The breakfast was pretty standard and well stocked. We had a beautiful view. We could even see Burnaby Village from our window.

The location is fantastic, with amazing food and amenities nearby. The full kitchen is a blessing. The breakfast buffet does leave something to be desired; no bacon or waffle station.

The suite I stayed in was beautiful and excellently maintained. The kitchenette is well-equipped and very functional. The provided breakfast is acceptable, with some decent protein options. The included internet option, while not blazing fast, is adequate for most uses.

The Element is within walking distance to Metrotown and other shopping. There is a great Italian restaurant on the ground floor and a little coffee shop in the lobby also. You can also go across the street to pick up groceries if you prefer. The swimming pool and whirlpool are relaxing and located in a bright room with large windows. The suite was also bright and comfortable.

We loved everything about our stay. Friendly and helpful front desk, clean modern room, magnificent view, comfy bed and pillows and an exceptionally healthy breakfast. We used the indoor pool, hot tub and sauna to relax in the evenings and the workout room in the mornings. The hotel is also a walking distance from good restaurants and the sky train. We will certainly stay here again.

The service was very good. The roomitself was a little small for the price i thought but was still very nice good shower, amazing bed. And a very clean room.

Great location, unfortunately the hotel amenities themselves are rather spartan for the rate. Breakfast was disappointing.

Excellent modern hotel with great rooms and a complimentary continental breakfast worth waking up early for. The beds are comfy, the kitchenettes are nice and the bathroom is really nice. I've stayed at the Element a few times and it's always met my standards. They are also very pet-friendly!

The Element has been a nice to start to my stay in Vancouver. The service has so far been great and the front desk was helpful withing recommending areas to visit and eat. The room was clean and had all the amenities I needed. They have a fridge and freeze and a stove. They also provide cooking ware and utensils. The location is solid with about a twenty min drive from the airport. They also provide breakfast in the morning.

We're staying here for 3 days until our new home is ready. For someone who doesn't impress easily, I'm giving the hotel 5 stars! From the smooth and friendly check in to a great shower and beautiful bedding I can't think of anything to complain about. The location is great and our corner king suite is surprisingly quiet. I also love the fact everything in the room is Eco friendly from paint to carpet. The Pet friendly room is incredibly clean and fresh. Highly recommend!

Great food, great service, great access to transit, bed was superb and clean. Really loved the apartment style hotel concept. Felt modern and unobtrusive.

Beautiful and cosy very modern room which is actually a mini apartment with a fridge and oven. Less than 10mins walk from Metrotown station. Reception staff super helpful and seem to care about running a quality operation. Awesome to have a 24 hour launderette which only costs $2.25 to wash and dry (felt like a student again :) Free underground parking for guests. WiFi was good enough but at times crawled. The breakfast was included which was nice, a pretty simple continental style - but on a couple of days the egg-filled crossings (the main food item) were quite bad. I told the staff and they promised to pass this on.

Excellent hotel to stay in (I recommend it, having stayed here twice). Clean rooms with good amenities, including platewares, a fridge and a microwave. Great breakfast, and a well-equipped business centre. I will stay here again, when I am in the lower mainland.

Great hotel! very modern rooms with absolutely everything you would need including a bathroom scale! Bed and pillows were very comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was healthy and fresh.

The hotel is new, very clean, well lit, and a great value. My girlfriend and I spent a weekend in Vancouver in early October and stayed at the Element. The room had a small kitchen area, a large bathroom, and was quiet and clean. Our only gripe was that the pillows weren't all that comfortable. The desk staff was friendly. There is a bar in the lobby although we did not stop in. Breakfast was offered and it was ok, about what would be expected for a free continental meal. The hotel location is excellent. There's a grocery store next door and a large mall down the street. The metro train is a 5 minute walk. The train ride is about 20 minutes to Gas Town/Downtown Vancouver. There is parking at the hotel although there are not a ton of spaces. The price was competitive and much cheaper than even the lesser quality hotel brands downtown. I will definitely stat here again.

It was a great experience. The room and amenities were much better than I expected them to be. I'm curious to see if the service and feel will be maintained when the Marriott takes control of the building.

Best hospitality, super comfy bed with beautifully modern decor. Only thing missing is room service. Rooms have a kitchenette that makes long business trips bareable so you're not obligated to eat out nightly. Lots of close by restaurants and shopping. I completely recommend The Element.

Modern style, extremely clean, with fantastic staff! My family and friends booked in to the Element for our wedding week. We all had a great experience - right from booking through to check out! Ken Boyd, Director of Sales and Marketing, made sure our experience was fantastic. He accommodated all of our guests schedules and requests. We would highly recommend this hotel!!!!
