Nice hotel with nice rooms and affordable prizes

We attended an event. The location is really beautiful. Can't say anything about the rooms, service or hotel.

I was visiting the hotel on a business trip with some colleagues and the interior is not really modern but also not really old style which would be nice as well, so it was between in my room. One of my colleagues had a room which really looked like it wasn't changed for 30+ years and was fully outdated. So it really depends what kind of room you have. What I definitely don't like is the thick carpet everywhere. Service and breakfast were nice and friendly. So it was a pleasant stay but the hotel definitely needs some updates.

It was a quite, good place. Enough parking space.

Do not let yourself fooled by the pictures on their website. You will not sleep in the castle, but in a former stable. Friendly but basic service.

Everything neat. Great and easy to reach location. Rooms were cleaned when we were away and polite staff. Breakfast was also good and broad. Only thing was that it looked a bit old.

An hotel in a farm from 1713. The rooms are a bit basic at times but sitting in the courtyard with a beer or wine is just amazing. And the service is so good! Personal and friendly. Worst bit? Breakfast. Better get there early cos once it's gone, it's gone!

The hotel looks beautiful and the area is great for hiking. The rooms are clean and big. The staff is nice and helps in any way they can.

Romantic location

The castle was built in 1713. Then it is renovated as Hotel. The rooms are very comfortable, and staffs are very helpful. Although the place is little dull for young people. It is a good place to stay and travel to Maastricht, Vaals, Aachen.

Nice located hotel. But sadly the room was outdated. Not what you expect from a 4-star hotel.

Das Hotel befindet sich in einem mehrere hundert Jahre alten Gemäuer und ist sehr rustikal ausgestattet in der Lobby und dem Aufenthaltsraum. Wer mit dem Navi hinfährt, wird evtl. zum schräg gegenüber liegenden Restaurant Kasteel geführt. Die Hotelzufahrt ist etwas versteckt, man kann sie übersehen, wenn man das Hinweisschild während der Fahrt nicht sieht.

Der Empfang ist freundlich, mehrsprachig. Die Zimmer sind für diese Preisklasse eher großzügig. Das Frühstück ist gut und angemessen. Der Stellplatz für das Auto kostet nichts extra. Es stehen Leihfahrräder zur Verfügung, das habe ich allerdings nicht genutzt.

Service was goed, alleen de kamer en badkamer roken muf. Wij zaten in kamer 55.

Ze zijn er erg goed in om op de site een totaal ander beeld te schetsen dan de werkelijkheid is. Wanneer je denkt dat je romantisch met je partner in een kasteel zult slapen...vergeet het maar. Je komt terecht in een hotel dat de 4 sterren echt niet verdient. Wat beschreven wordt als een luxe hotelkamer is de werkelijkheid een standaard kamer waar van enige luxe geen sprake is. Het hele hotel ademt een sfeer uit van simpel. goedkoop en alles 'net niet' en de bedden zijn ronduit slecht. Wat mij echter het meest stoort en er voor gezorgd heeft dat ik mijn recensie op internet plaats is de klachtenafhandeling. Er wordt gevraagd 'heeft u klachten vertel het ons, bent u tevreden vertel het anderen.' Ik heb mijn klachten geuit en tijdens ons verblijf is daar verder geen enkele reactie op gekomen. Bij het uitchecken gevraagd om een enquêteformulier (lag niet op de kamer in tegenstelling tot wat in de map werd vermeld), weer mijn klachten en teleurstelling kenbaar gemaakt. En .......een week later nog geen enkele reactie. Erenstein (laat het woord kasteel er s.v.p. voor weg)voor mij nooit weer!!
