I would have given 5 stars if not for one recurring problem (see below for details). Overall, this hotel is a VERY good value for the money.

I stayed here for 8 nights in an executive suite. The room is very clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The location is perfect for me... close to everything I need. I really appreciate the free below-ground parking (keeps the car cooler) and the fast, free WiFi.

The only problem I had was with the towels. The first night, there were two bath towels, two hand towels, and two wash cloths (the staff here calls them "face towels"), and a bath mat. This is perfect as we are two people staying here.

However, on the second night, there were no hand towels. I told the front desk about it, and they sent hand towels right away.

On the third night, there were no wash cloths (face towels). Again, they sent them right away.

On the fourth night, there was only one bath towel.

On the fifth night, no bath mat. And so-on. Each time, they sent someone right away with the missing towels. Finally, on my last night (8th night), they got it correct.

I just don't understand why the housekeeping staff can't get the towels right. There are two people staying in the room... so keep two sets of all towels in the room! It's pretty simple.

If google allowed me to give 4.5 stars instead of 4.0, I would give 4.5. But I can't give 5.0 stars due to the recurring mistakes with the towels.

Went on an office holiday with 14 colleagues. Nice spacious rooms, attentive staff.. The breakfast buffet was great with a lot of variety and good food. The one star less is for the flies that seem to be everywhere and spoil the experience.

Great experience staying with Holiday Inn Embassy District with a 150 pax group. Smooth check-in and checkout. Great breakfast with Indian menu. Great support from Banquets for the event. Highly recommended for groups from India. Special thanks to Emad and Rajat for making our stay comfortable.

The place is really good. We selected this spot to watch football finals nd it was energetic. The visit made it special to see France winning.

Apart from it the drinks are good food is nice specially spring rolls. The place is decent enough. Thou the food took long time we were happy that they have us extra spring rolls plate on house to make for the delay.

It is a great hotel to stay in Bur Dubai. Location is good. Busy roads with people around. Located close to several shopping malls.
Wheelchair accessible. Complimentary breakfast, dj, discotheque, club and restaurants in same building.

Rooms were spacious and washrooms were clean.
Located close to many indian restaurants.

Airport is not too far. About 35-40 mins in normal traffic.

This hotel is centrally located, easy access to Metro and Shops. For Indians its a blessing in disguise as its very close to Good Veg Restaurants , Service was good , Staff were friendly and security was also good.

Value for money, they have a bar inside the hotel. i loved it.
Special thanks to the duty manager who called me personally when i was in my room to check if everything was ok. Sadly i forgot his name.

Pluses:

Negatives:
- Depending on the plan of your trip, this hotel is at a busy part of town. Traffic gets really busy.
- Breakfast was average.

Good food and service but not during peak season. Hotel staff not able to handle heavy rush. Noticed flies in restaurant during breakfast for all 5 days of stay.

Nice hotel but the AC in our conference room is not working. They not even bothered to fixed it. Someone came just pressing the buttons and thats it. We are 400 in the event and everyone is sweating. Its not yet even start of summer. Not good in customer service.

Comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Neat n spacious bathrooms with all eminities like bath tub, speakers , running hot water all time ,etc.

In house restaurant caters continetal and Indian cuisine. Dance bar and club for live entertainment but some disturbance to rooms at night. Due to sound.

Very good hotel in bur Dubai. The best one infect I would say. Rooms are spacious, clean, food is awesome. Both disco good . However due to some maintenance work going on the swimming pool was closed. The fitness centre is having all necessary equipments. Would recommend the hotel to visitors.

The hotel is at a very good location. It is located opposite the Burjuman metro station. You need to come out of Exit 4 and walk across the car parking and you can see the green lights of the hotel. It is not more than 5 min s walking. In room service is very good. They have got good clubs for entertainment. Burjuman shopping mall is at stone throw distance.

Nice location. Very friendly stuff and helpful. Rooms need to get this days. Carpet not good. All room smells like old wet socks. U cant see out of windows. There is only local apartment about 3 meters away. Need to keep curtains close all the time. Swimmingpool been closed whole 12 days we have been here. There is photo what u never see. Stayed here for 3 nights. Pretty awesome place in Bur Dubai. Very near to Places like Dubai Creek, Dolphin Museum, Meena Bazaar, Burjumann Mall etc.
Parking is available. I got an free upgrade to suite. Very spacious room.
Wonderful people at reception, attentive staff and good service.
Breakfast was too good. Indians are definitely going to like what's offered in Breakfast Buffet.
Overall enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend everyone to stay here.

Location is good. However services in the night is very poor. Should take more care for room cleaning. Lobby needs total renovation. It doesn't not look like a 4star hotel lobby.

Great hotel, Great location. Only 3-4 min easy walk to Metro and mall. Highly recommended for first time visitors. Staff is professional and helpful.

It’s a great place to conduct conferences n staying as well. People love changes, they improve the experience over a period of time. And it was a good response from candidates from the conference. The service is also appreciated, they are giving the best from their end. Loved it.

Great service and comfortable rooms. All staff were very helpful and humble. On our request, kitchen staff prepared separate food for our 2 years old kid, we really appreciate their efforts. Only problem we faced was noise coming from club at ground floor. Food is average here, not as per our expectance.

Hotel is just beside the burjuman metro station.i was there for a conference two days ago.the thing is that hotel is located in a street . If you want to take a tour of Dubai it will be difficult to find a taxi or you have to wait long.hotel ambience is good.staff is good.stay is comfortable . There is a club 119 is on roof top you must visit if you are Indian because as i seen the crowd was full of Indian except some foreigners. Hotel rates are not to high. An exotic hotel in the middle of the city. Large. Lobby reception and 3 elevators in operation. Basement car park and can board elevator from the car park. Ground floor having a beautiful restaurant. Rooms are nicely furnished. I visited room number 254 and the guest booked the room through an agent in Mumbai and priced at RS. 5000/ - for twin bed though with single occupancy. Nice view of exterior traffic from the room. Good clean bathrooms and working table 24 hrs live channels. Excellent.

Good for a short stay, Budget trip or a business trip as its near to a Metro Station, a bus stop and it's located in Embassy District. Busy streets.

Very polite and attentive staff. Breakfast is worthwhile when bought as room package. Proximity to the foreign consulates and Embassies, if you need to visit them, is excellent.

Conducted a Party. Some of the food items were missing which we mentioned. The main reason was communication gap between us and the event manager. They should spend more time with the customers over phone or directly rather than communicating only through mails. Since we r hosting for the first time a proper explanation should have been given regarding selection of menu.
After such incident no apology from their side.

However the food provided was good.
But myself n friends will never opt for holiday inn hereafter.

Typical 4 star hotel... the Al Maha Ballroom is large and accommodating. They host a lot of Indian Musical programmes.

Great place fair price. Only 100 meters from the metro and 5 story mall. Safe area. Food was great. No international power outlets and could improve TV channels.

Good hotel. Not too expensive and the breakfast is really good. My only complaint is that if you have a room towards the center of the hotel near the elevators, it gets loud at night. Everything is clean, the rooftop pool is very nice and the staff are very accommodating.

Had a great vacation with family at Dubai over the last week end. The stay at Holiday Inn, Bur Dubai was very nice. We got one of the few inter connected rooms and hence could stay connected with the children. The staff ( a few I remember Duty Manager Mr Narayan, At the Reception Mr Nasarudhin, Ms Angelina, Travel Desk Mr Harish, Imran Bhai supported by Faris Bhai and Ameen Bhai ) were very nice and very supportive that we felt so much at home. The breakfast spread is very good. If we were to come back to Dubai, we are sure to stay here only..

I stayed for 6 days and 5 night for official purpose and stayed in hotel most of the time.
This hotel is amazing in all the possible ways. The staff is a big assert of the Hotel. The food is really very nice. Metro station is close by, one can easily reach to the length & breath of the city.

But, finding a cab is trouble sometime..

I had a good stay. The rooms are very vibtage in style. Had a fee issues with house keeping. Honestly not a bad place for what i paid. Gym is good and i heard the night clubs are good , but never went myself. Youncan hear the club at might from the rooms

some of the staff was nice and courteous; I'm from the US and opted not to use my mobile service provider. One of the bellhop men was nice enough to let us use the phone to place a call for pizza.

the wifi is not the best by any means, try to use to make calls over internet is out of the question here. so if your service provider is not located with the immediate region then I would advise looking elsewhere for another hotel.

the night is still young and I'm still here as I write this review... the juror is still out on the remainder of the stay and the morning breakfast!!!

one other note to mention, is they didn't have an issue extending the checkout by additional 2hrs... this is the third hotel of my visit and I'm guessing it's probably customery to extend by up to 2 hours upon request as we didn't have any issues at the others either.

fantastic and affordable hotel in the embassy district. half a block away from the metro junction. walking distance from many sites. the staff need far better training in some areas, and need to better understand their responsibilities...but they try 100% with nothing but a positive attitude. the elegance of the hotel will confuse you as it is a holiday inn, but higher end then most holiday inns. this our the hyatt are solid affordable hotels.
