Good Hotel. With welcoming staff and clean rooms. Good breakfast selection as well. And easy connections to all sights.

The bed was comfy and I never wanted to get up. Room was a little tight but it was manageable. I loved the marble bathroom. The toilet and shower are in separate rooms. If you need an iron, call ahead to use it or iron the night before because they have several that are shared with all the customers.

I was expecting better service from holiday in Paris care we Lyon.

All the rooms have been renovated, very modern and sleek bathrooms. We booked two rooms, one executive (very spacious) and one for 4 people and we had a great experience. The one under the roof had fantastic views over Paris. The service was flawless too! Highly recommended! Great location..

After a long day of travelling the welcome at reception was everything one could ask for. It looks like some re-decorating is in process, but it proves they care about high standards, which include the decor. The room was clean and welcoming, the bed looks inviting. If what we have seen so far is anything to go by, then we are looking forward to breakfast in the morning!

I booked a deluxe room as they were cheaper than the standard at the time. The room was very nice, clean, and spacious. The location is convenient as it is a 5 minute walk to the Gare de Lyon train/metro station. Lots of good restaurants and cafes are within 10 minutes walk. Overall a very convenient location and nice hotel.

I was totally shocked when I went into the room, it was the nicest of our stay. Small like most European hotels but very efficient, clean and great ambience. Also had an awesome view back onto the street. Very convenient before taking the train to the airport.

Great location - 2 mins walk from Gare de Lyon - with plenty of restaurants and a convenient store in walking distance. The room was good for its price, and the staff was nice. Would recommend for people who need to stay close to the station, and can use some late night food in the neighborhood.

We had a suite with a balcony with a view to the city. Good service. Good location, walking distance to everything in the city. A lot little pastry shops everywhere. Felt safe walking at all hours of the day. The room was equipped with Nespresso coffee machine. It was the cherry on top of a very nice room. The room was on the bigger size, making it very comfortable to move around. I would come back to this location.

All the team were pleasant and made the start of my stay, a very good one.

The Suite was nice, a lovely bathroom , A good King size bed and I personally love that in true IHG tradition there is a pillow menu where you can select one of your favorite types from soft, medium to firm to suit you. The decor is Modern and the room was bright and airy with quite high ceilings, With French doors opening out onto a balcony overlooking the main road, but it isn't noisy at night. Theres a mini bar, lovely to see with a small selection.  

The breakfast room is on the ground floor it has a good selection. Hot foods bacon, sausages eggs tomatoes and mushrooms. Cold hams, cheeses yogurts, fruits and good variety of juices and teas and coffees.

So if you need to catch an early train from Gare Lyon, or seeing a show at the Bercy Arena,( can't mention name of the arena as the IHG auto algorithm rejects reviews when you mention another hotel brand) then sure this hotel is handy. There's also direct bus connection at the near by station to Charles de Gaulle airport which is faster than metro and train. I recommend that if your not a member you join the IHG rewards program for free, so you can book the room at the cheapest rate possible and put your preferences in your profile.

A hotel of a traditional building. The room is also functional and comfortable. It is conveniently near from Gare de Lyon. There is a supermarket in front of me.

I just loved the place.. excellent services, helpful staff, clean and hygienic rooms and washrooms. The best part is location .. Gare de Lyon , a major metro station is just few metres apart.. so totally recommendable from our side.

For Paris, the rooms are spacious and with a nice design. The bathroom is luxurious. Good choices for breakfast. The hotel is just a few minutes from the train & metro station Gare de Lyon.

Good breakfast, that come with 4 type of hot food, but it same everyday. Just 1 down side, second floor was having some renovation and it make some drilling sound. Other then that is it very nice hotel.

Absolutely ok given the rates. Unfortunately, they didn‘t have the same quality mattresses as other Hiliday Inn. Otherwise fine. Great breakfast! And close to main train station and walking distance to city center.

Great location, great services from front desk and restaurants. If it is not because of the cleaner, I'd have given 5 stars. The cleaner who missed replacement of toiletry, did not apologize the she missed cleaning my room, she always said...we have schedule to clean room.....

In Paris for business and traveling by train from the Gare de Lyon station. The hotel is a block from Gare de Lyon and about half a mile from the Bastille circle. Just like anywhere in Paris plenty of restaurants within walking distance. My room was a little small but it's to be expected. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. I did not go to the restaurant or bar. Hit a restaurant right by the hotel. Will more than likely be staying her for future trips.

Excellent hotel. Clean comfortable room with excellent lighting, plenty of power outlets, a good TV, and a really cool Bluetooth system for playing your own music.

Good location, 5 minutes walk from Gare de Lyon train and metro station. Big rooms, clean, modern. USB chargers for phone and laptop, also located at both sides of the bed, very convenient. Very friendly stuff

For an American I appreciate having window, some extra space, and it being clean. It was all of this and the staff have been helpful and polite.

Decent hotel for the price and for Paris standards. Would rate it a 3-star hotel due its consumed furniture and below average housekeeping. The location is good due to its proximity to public transportation and restaurants/cafes. Would suggest providing at least one bottle of free water and install better sound insulation in the future.

Very nice room. Great express breakfast for 7 Euro. Only downside is no shelf in the shower for toiletries.

Solid Holiday Inn. Good size rooms, nice decor, clean. Excellent location 3 minutes from Gare de Lyon. Free wifi and good free breakfast. Kids stay free. Good service.

I was on the 7th floor but the only working elevator went to the 6th floor. It was extremely hot outside but it seemed the air conditioning was not strong enough to cool an entire room. Because the rooms on the 7th floor seemed like an afterthought, the bathtub didn't have a regular shower head, but instead had a handshower connected to the bathspout which had almost no water pressure and no shower curtain or door so the floor of the bathroom became soaked no matter how careful you tried to be. That could almost all be possible if the room didn't still cost almost 300 euro per night.

Several types of public transport almost at door step. LE-Direct Bus take you directly from airport to the location.
Nice old style building, several restaurants and grocery stores within 50-100m.
My personal recommendation for hotel management is to consider the following:
1) conditioner and body milk or moisturizer. I found it strange for those to be not standard items.
2) Water bottle placed only first time, I'm sure its not that expansive to habe them placed everyday.

Friendly staff and good value. Rooms are a little dated and we went during construction. Location is not near many attractions but luckily the hotel is not too far from a train station.

Loved the dinky, old elevator. The rooms on the 5th floor have been beautifully and functionally updated. The foyer and bar are punching above the weight of the standard I expect of the Holiday Inn. Great location - a spit away from Gare de Lyon and a stone throw from sleepless Bastille. And around the corner is charming Rue Crémieux. But seriously, sort out the entrance awning which is an unsightly scaffold cladding constantly drip, drip, dripping water, one would think it was raining every time one stepped out.

Clean and comfortable. Good location for the metro. It's on a main road so some noise but didn't spoil our stay. Loved the room we were in and the balcony made it even better.

Hotel was clean and quiet. Location was great; close to plenty of restaurants and places to shop as well as within walking distance of major landmarks like Notre Dame and the Louvre.

Nice place. Room feels a little cramped but lots of storage space. Small fridge, complementary water in room. Clean standard fixtures, an easy choice.

Excellent location both in terms of proximity to Gare de Lyon as well as in terms of the neighborhood, very nice and spacious room for European standards, and friendly staff. The two bad things would be the slowliness in the housekeeping and the lack of a restaurant on site.

Very warm and skilled welcome. Staff also understands some jokes and does not look at you as if you were an Alien. Very nicely decorated room, a bit small, but much larger than the Standard in the inner cities. Large LCD TV, very good bed, proper and clean bathroom, and even much bigger than many others I have seen so far in Paris. Excellent Location, five minutes walk from the Gare de Lyon and to the Place de la Bastille. WiFi works perfectly, without doing twenty+ login's and Password requests and all this cumbersome blablabla. Absolutely recommendable place. Very nice. Great staff, great internet, good conversion of an old Parisian building to a clean modern hotel. Recommended - just wish they also offered food on the premises.

J'ai réservé une chambre dans cet hôtel et vraiment le service est top !
Tout d'abord, l'hôtel se trouve très près de tout (station de métro, gare, restaurants...) et surtout les chambres ont été refaites. La qualité est irréprochable et en plus le petit déjeuner est copieux. Personnel sympa, grande classe, bonne literie...
Moi qui vais régulièrement dans des hôtels d'autres chaines sur Paris, j'ai trouvé cet hôtel par hasard et je suis vraiment ravi !
Je conseille vivement...

El Hotel esta bastante bien la habitacion que estuve yo era un poco pequeña, pero confortable, esta bien situado, esta muy cerca de la plaza de la Bastilla, y tiene la linea M1 de metro muy cerca, en esta linea vas a todos los sitios mas turisticos de Paris.
