The location has been renovated recently. Service is very friendly and forthcoming. The food is the real treat. Amazing stuff is coming out of the kitchen from entree to dessert

The room was clean, the bed large and comfy, and the bathroom large. Not sure what more you could want from a hotel :)

The rooms are very clean even if the style is a bit old. The breakfast is very expensive for what it is and the staff tend to be slow to come and help you

Pros: Great location. Very close to the lake, and just next to the tram/train station. Cons: Looks clean but I'm not sure if it actually is. There were something left from previous customer in the bathroom when I arrived (it was on the shelf, so maybe missed that point?). I'm glad that I had my own shampoo, lotion etc. because they never brought them during my 4 night stay. I don't know if it was something I shall request from them. My shower broke so I had to switch my room in the night. I would vote worse but the lobby/information desk people were always very kind and tried to solve the problems immediately.

Everything about the stay was nice. i think some rooms (at least mine) could do with a plumbing upgrade, on/off hot/cold there was little middle ground with faucets/shower. The breakfast and coffee were good too

Nice and calm hôtel in the center of Zurich. The restaurant is both cosy and elegant.

If this place had a gym, I would have given it 5 stars. Other than that, it's a very nice hotel with good breakfast and friendly staff.

I travel on business about once or twice a year and this has been over of my nicest experiences with a hotel. It's a very pleasant hotel with a nice breakfast, I didn't make use of the bar or dinner (which is closed on Sundays like the majority of Zurich) so I can't say how that experience is. My room was perfectly kept by the staff as is expected in a 4-star hotel. The receptionists and restaurant staff are fluent in English which is a bit rare in Switzerland, so I really appreciate that. Being near to multiple museums (including the FIFA football museum next door) and next to a major rail station (Bahnhof Enge) with a trolley going along the world-class designer shopping experience that is Bahnhofstrasse makes it a nice starting point for adventures.

Overall the hotel is pretty nice. Clean room and everything you'd need. Rooms could be a bit bigger but it's not a huge complaint

Nicely located near the train station. Rooms are comfy and service was pretty good. There is no in house gym though.

Comfortable hotel located right across from the Enge train station and an easy walk to shopping.

Can't fault the service. More vegetarian options on the room service menu would be great! Great location to explore the city.

Great and convenient location, very friendly staff. Loved the breakfast as well. Room is small but adequate and suits my needs perfectly. My second time staying here and will be happy to return again if work brings me to ZRH.

Generally good. A few minor things - hot food offering for breakfast was lacking, no hot poridge in particular. Only one, huge, pillow -may not be comfortable for everyone.

Ignore any reviews older than before July 2016, hotel has been taken over (jointly with FIFA) and given a make over. Though how good it is now I cannot comment on, but as things have changed it might be best to only consider 'new' reviews.

dvantage neer the train stations and the restaurants .. disadvantage very small bathroom and ther is not many choices in breakfast buffet and the parking for the car cost 40 CHF bear day .

The service and location of this hotel was really good. My only gripe was the internet connection. It sucked really bad. Kept connecting and disconnecting. Extremely unreliable. So if you have urgent work that you need to do during the trip, you may want to consider another hotel that has a more stable connection. Other than that, the service, the rooms and breakfast were pretty good. Its also right across from the train station and trams, so getting anywhere (including the airport) is a stone throw away.

The bed is quite good, spacy and organised!the nespresso machine at the room is a great touch!Breakfast is disappointing though!
