We come to Florida a lot every year, and this resort is amazing. Never had anything like this before. The views are amazing and the privacy is unreal. Best place to be, it felt like home. Will be coming back every single year. Stayed for over a week and had no complaints. Hot water, nice clean bed, comfy atmosphere. Plus I only spent 500 bucks for one whole week which is insane. Thank you blue heron you guys are great.

Hotel was clean, quiet and full of amenities for families. Two outdoor pools, a jacuzzi, a gym and a walkway leading out to a dock with seating by Lake Bryan. Room had two balconies, one overlooking Lake Bryan and the pools, the other overlooking a free minigolf course to staying guests. Also a great view of Epcot's nightly fireworks. Very happy with our stay here. We used Blue Heron at West Palm Beach before and loved it there as well. We will continue using Blue Heron for their great rooms, hospitality, amenities and value.

Absolutely love this place! Friendly staff, amazing view, rooms are spacious. You feel like you are at home! Definitely recommend.

7 of us stayed for a week and it was great. There was plenty of room in our suite and it was spotless. The kids loved the pool, and the resort is within walking distance to several stores and restaurants. The only negative thing I can say is that the mattress on the pull out couch was terrible. It needed to be replaced badly as you could feel every spring. If not for that, I would have given a 5 star rating.

Got a deal and this was our second stay at this resort. Everything was exactly as we remembered which was why we booked again. Exterior is not in prime condition, but interior of our 2 bedroom plus bunk beds, full kitchen, living room, and 2 baths were completely updated. Quiet with fantastic views of all the parks in the evening - could see the fireworks at all the parks. The photos of the sunrise over the lake don't do it justice. We will stay here again next year.

This Resort might not be top tier but it delivers one of the best values in Orlando. This is since the amenities in the resort were beyond what I expected. I like how there are local restaurants and it is very close to theme parks. They have a bus stop so you can go to the theme parks. They could have more amenities and could have more pizzazz in what they do. It is a fine choice for those picky on the wallet but who want the best value.

Located close to Disney parks, just a moment off I4, this hotel has great location. The suites have dated, but pleasant accommodations, including a full sized fridge and range. Perfect for a multiple day Disney visit for a family or group of friends.

This Resort is conveniently located about 20-25 min from the airport. Most of the rooms have an overview of the lake and outdoor pool. My family and I had a great overall experience there. Would definitely return!

Nice room, great lake view. There are a few issues, part of the toaster doesn't work. There's no utensil area in the dishwasher, the master toilet leaks at the base, and there is some mold on the ceiling in the master bath (probably from poor ventilation). The pool is nice, you can't take your own drinks to the pool (though I've seen what some are doing). Domestic beer is $4...

Parking lot is small. Room is nice and big but balcony full of spiders. The shower was weird. It was one of those handles that has a holder but mine was really loose. Spent 20min trying to get the shower head from moving. Little amenities. No razor or shaving cream

Large, comfortable and clean units. Very convenient to the Disney parks. We have now stayed twice and both times had a great experience with the staff and with the rooms. Full kitchen, separate bedrooms, large family room/breakfast nook. Two full baths.

The location was nice, I loved the lake and pools, as well as the jacuzzi. The rooms are quite nice with 2 bathrooms, a bunk bed, a master bedroom, and a living room with a balcony. We never encountered room service at your stay but they we're very nice, I'm sure.

Best place to stay in Orlando! Great for a family with lots of room and awesome pool. Safe, fun and beautiful private condo style rooms with a large balcony over looking Disney world and more!! Full size lovely kitchens and large bathrooms. Great staff and in a great location!

Home away from home. Everything u need; they have it. Plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. You can view the Disney fireworks at night from this location. Lots of places to shop and/or grab coffee play mini. Golf. All within walking distance from the hotel/ apartments. I felt safe while on vacation, because your key ONLY let's you get off the elevator on your floor. They are located on the water, beautiful view and provide extra privacy. Tiki Bar located by the pool. All round awesome! Will return for another fun in the Florida sun home away from home vacation.

We stayed 8 nights and loved it! It had amazing views and everything was great and clean staff doesn't bother you and its like renting a apartment. Its beautiful we wanted to stay again this year but waited to long and it was all booked up 😞 but we will be back

Very spacious. We stayed in room 1502 in tower one during the last week of February/beginning of March. It has a beautiful view of the lake with a private balcony. Extremely quiet. We never had any disruptions from other guests nor did we hear anyone above us, if there was anyone above us... We had two minor issues that needed addressing regarding the dryer door and shower head and both were dealt within the same day we placed the calls. We—two of us—had a one bedroom suite which had two full bathrooms. That in of itself made this one of the best vacations ever! We also really enjoyed having a washer and dryer. Dollar Tree was a stone's throw away which came in very hand for things like a sponge and laundry detergent.

The only reason I gave it four stars is that it is dated. I don't see the need for those horrible dust-covered fake plants in the room. Less is more when your dealing with dated decor. I was annoyed with the fact that the bedroom had carpet. The rest of the suite was tile. When I went to use the vacuum that happened to be in our closet, it wouldn't pick up anything on the carpet and the beater bar was totally covered in hair and dirt preventing it from spinning.

Suggestions to the powers that be:
- Get rid of the fake plants.
- Provide more than one frying pan
- Get new vacuums or clean the existing one in that room. I hope the one in our room isn't what the cleaners actually use... If we as guests are expected to clean our rooms during our stay all the while having to pay a $45 cleaning fee, provide us vacuums that work.

All in all, I look forward to our next stay there and would definitely recommend.

Loved it. This was our second year. Great board walk and gazebo and huge pool and Lake view from our private deck. Can see Disney's Fireworks from front patio foyers of the building. They gave us free Mini Golf passes for all day every day.

Very friendly and helpful staff, beautifully kept exterior (although the building we were in could use an exterior paint job), nicely kept interior, beautiful pool area, spacious room, quiet, great security with room keyed elevator access, excellent parking, great location with beautiful view of Lake Buena Vista. The only reason a 4 star instead of 5 is due to cleanliness of the bunk beds. I imagine they're hard to make but the top one looked like no one had used in a while, nor been changed. It and the drawers below looked quite dusty. Also, the thermostat could not be set lower than 72 degrees. Overall though, great stay. Would stay again.

We were treated to a luxurious condo with a spectacular view overlooking the pool and lake. The rooms were clean, the environment was quiet and the staff was friendly. Access to the floors were right from the garage levels and well lit. Nearby attractions made for a good variety of dining and the pool side bar was just the right thing to cool off with. Checking in and out were trouble free. I will be taking my family back here again.

Loved our stay here. Very clean, well cared for & has plenty of room for the entire family. Great staff, good hotel security. Beautiful grounds as well as pool area.

Good view, good location. The rooms were not all the way clean. We found several hairs that were not ours on beds, and the floors were dirty, but we didn't notice until we walked around without shoes on. There were no comforters on the beds, so we had to turn the air conditioning off and the heat on in order to sleep comfortably. It was relatively inexpensive, and that could have contributed to some of my complaints. I'm going it four stars because of the location, size of the rooms, and amenities they did have.

Upper floors (12 and up) 1604 have AWESOME views of Disney fireworks up front. Huge lake view in back. Can't believe you re only 5 minutes from Disney Springs! Looks like the Everglades with jet skiing, fishing, kayaking, pontoon boating, Stand Up Boarding, water skiing, birding.

I think that this is a really great place to stay taking into consideration the price, the size of the condos and the view. The only reason I had to drop stars was because of the appearance. The resort looks a little run down. And the rooms look like you went back in time to the late 80's or early 90's. The pool area looks amazing though and it is quite spacious. The rooms are also pretty large and enough beds for a family of 7. The view of the lake from our room was my favorite part. I sat on the balcony watching the sunset on a couple of evenings.

This hotel is yet nice, but however, the room I got was full of ants, and the towers look like old fashioned buildings. However, this has a nice pool, and everything, but I’m giving this 3 stars. They need to get rid of the insects in the buildings and update their exterior? I hope they will do that.

Perfect place, very spacious, clean and well maintained. It's well worth the money, they have ensured all amenities are present. Feels right at home.

It is very good for the money. Great location and clean facilities. Nice pool and lake area. Only down side is the beds are a little hard and uncomfortable. But at these rates, I cannot really complain!

Great condo hotel. Fully equipped kitchens, whirlpool bathtubs, every room has a balcony. If your looking for a place to stay long term this is a great option, condos are a great size and up to date, there’s enough room for the entire family. The pool area features a tiki bar with reasonably priced drinks and snacks available for purchase. A Great Lake view in the back as well.

Location was perfect for "off property" yet still convenient to all of Disney. Room was clean, but needed some extra dusting. View was incredible from front door and balcony.

Rooms are very nice, plenty of room for a small group. Pool is kept very warm and clean, so is the hot tub. They also have a small exercise room that looks adequate for a typical vacationer, I have not used it personally though. The tiki bar is very nice and priced below what I expected, I went to the local amusement parks where drinks were much more. The nachos are very delicious went there for them a few nights. They also have a pier where you may fish if you decide to bring a fishing rod and equipment. Parking is very good too, plenty to go around. Full kitchen allows you to shop at the local grocery stores and prepare food yourself which definitely saves money for a tight budget.

Could've been much nicer with much needed maintenance. Great balcony view and spacious rooms. Nice staff.

Just incredible! Our room was like a whole house. It was amazing. Lake view. 7th floor with balcony. Staff was very accommodating. Definitely recommending to friends and family. Will be visiting again.

It was a very nice and convenient place to stay. Only one exit from Epcot. Stores and restaurants close by. Needed to have hair dryer and some plastic cups for the kids. Would stay there again.

Pros: free WiFi, close to the Disney parks, great view from the balcony, enough space to sleep 12.
Cons: A.C. stopped working, one of the bathtubs wouldn't drain, even though decals were required to park in the parking structures, a lot of cars without them would park on the garage, forcing paying customers look for other areas to park.
This stay took place a few days before and while hurricane Irma passed over Orlando. The a.c. broke a day before Irma was supposed to hit so no one was available to fix it until after.
All things considered, it was enjoyable. Would give them a second chance to see if these cons were Irma related or just the hotel's negligence.

On the edge of Disney main gates/property. Very close to premium outlet shops. Crossroads close by with food outlets to suit most people. The apartments are just the right size without feeling claustrophobic. Stayed here 4 times now over the last 20 plus years. The staff are always on hand to help. Would always recommend the blue heron if you want to stay at lake buena vista.

This hotel was very accomadating for my family. The staff was beyond friendly, the rooms were very clean and they provided us with lots of towels that were very clean. The pool was great and the location was a lot great. Lots of stores and places to eat around it. And it's very close to disney parks

Very spacious, large balcony but furniture was dirty and the appliance seemed old. They do not clean your room, they clean after you leave and you have to throw your own trash. I did like the person who checked me in, very nice lady.

Great place to stay when visiting Disney! The place was spotless and had free shuttle to Disney world. Good pool area and excellent views close to good eateries! Highly recommended😎

This place is awesome! It's clean and very pretty. The pool is huge and the hot tub was amazing (Ahh!). The admissions people were very helpful and always smiling. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back! I highly recommend the Blue Heron!

My family and I stayed here for 10 days on our summer vacation and our stay was absolutely wonderful. The condo was very clean and accommodating. It was very close to all of the parks.. Sea World.. Discovery cove.. i would definitely stay here again

My wife and four kids and I stay here all the time. It's always clean and kid friendly. Can't ask for anything better. The prices are also as well. I would suggest this to anyone with children it's plenty of space and multiple pools.

Great place to stay! Loved the views of the lake and Orlando and being in walking distance to shops to eat to grab snacks. The room was spacious and was very nice for the money. We will definitely be back.

I enjoyed my stay at the blue heron resort. The service was nice and the security is very good. Nit to mention how close it is to Disney and its not Disney themed

Stayed here to visit Disney world. Place is nice with good amenities. Nice pool area with lap pool and a decent fitness center. Place does not provide regular maid service and the linens are up to the guest to wash. Hotel provides a shuttle to Disney and universal parks. They also sell tickets at the front lobby

I was on the 14th floor and it had a great view. At night around 8pm I was able to see the fireworks from Disney World on the balcony. The rooms were nice & spacious. What made it a 4* and not a 5* was the fact I called for room service and never got it. Also the bedrooms had 19 inch TVs (in other words they were small).

Central to all the Parks. The apartment is a real home from home with every conceivable appliance you could wish for. Very clean and tidy throughout. Heated pool, snacks and drinks. Ample car parking and right beside food outlets and gift shops. Excellent all round.

Have enjoyed our stay. The view is beautiful, pool is heated, and hot tub is big. The room is set up nicely. Wish there was a better lock for the sliding glass doors as we have small children. The turn into the hotel from the main road is tricky.

We stayed at the Blue Heron Beach Resort for three days. The staff was friendly and helpful. The outside of the building was undergoing renovation during our visit. We had a lovely view from our balcony. Very nice pool area and dock. Older condo but a very good value for the money.

Rooms was nice and laid out...everything was comfortable. I liked and tried fishing in the lake out back but it was to much grass in waters off the pier. The fish wasn't biting! Staff was very kind and helpful. I really like the security setup and it's very quiet and peaceful. The water pressure of the showers was very low, but plenty hot water. There's a lot of good eating places in walking distance. Over all it was great!

This place is horrible. Very dated and all furniture is chipped. The beds are the worst , they squeak every time you lay down and you can feel the metal springs all over your back when you are laying down. Gave me plenty of back aches. Restrooms are decent, and the living room has horrible couches that feel as if they are about to break every time you sit on one of them. They are also very dirty, like a coat of dirt is surrounding it. We had to put bed sheets on them so we wouldn't have to touch the actual couch. The kitchen was horrible, everything was dirty. The only reason why I haven this place two stars is because of the view of the lake. This place is definitely not worth it, never coming here again.

These condos are great. The price is on the fair-to-high end, but they are definitely spacious. We booked the family suite which had 1 bedroom w/King bed, 2 twin bunk beds in the hall, and a full/queen sleeper sofa, plus 2 bathrooms, full kitchen, and dining room; the balcony with lake view is great too. Some of the furniture shows its age, but other than that everything is great. The service was great too. Check-in was a breeze. FYI, you do not get daily housekeeping service, however each unit is equipped with a washer and dryer and extra toiletries, detergent, etc is avail at the front desk.

When we arrived for check-in, we were greeted by a very friendly woman and were told that if we needed anything to give them a call. The room is spacious and we have a great view of the lake and pool from the 10th floor. It's super close to the Disney parks too! Overall, a great place to stay in Orlando, especially if you are going to be visiting Disney World.

You will not be disappointed staying at the Blue Heron. My Family and I are very picky when looking for places to stay whenever we vacation. We wanted to find a resort or any place for that matter with a kitchen so we can save some money on dining out all the time. We wanted a place that looked like a home so we can feel at home and we were correct. The Blue Heron was amazing and the kids loved it. The pool was great. The staff were great and it was very, very clean (which is one of our biggest things...cleanliness) and pricing of course but the pricing was not bad at all. We were very pleased and satisfied. We will be returning for sure and if you are considering ever staying in Orlando I highly recommend the Blue Heron.

Service was good, rooms are nice but could use a bit of a refresh. Lots of small ants in our room around the kitchen, but not a big issue. Overall great location and would stay here again.

2nd night staying as we are staying for the weekend. So far I am loving this hotel. The check in was a smooth process and front desk staff, Shelby was very nice and friendly. I do like the security of the elevator. You have to use your key card to get to your floor which is great as you don't have strangers and kids running on your floor. It was quiet on our floor and did not hear the neighbors. The view was amazing. You can the Orlando Eye from your back balcony and has a great view of the lake and pool. In the front you can Disney Springs and Epcot.

One downfall we had was the black out curtain in the main bedroom still let in light from the top and sides. Wasn't a deal breaker.

Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at the Blue Heron Beach Resort for 10 nights the last part of August!! It was absolutely beautiful! The room was so spacious and very clean! The people at the front desk were very friendly! The pool and hot tub were beautiful and very clean! The staff at the Tiki bar were absolutely amazing! They were so friendly and we really enjoyed our time spent there! We would go back and stay at this place in a heartbeat! We are already saving up to hopefully go back next summer :) I would recommend this place to any of my friends it is definitely the full package in my opinion!

If you worried about or 2nd guessing about staying here .. please dont!!! Myself and Family stayed here August 11-15th!!! This place has a great staff on hand, wonderful views, great location, roomy and lots of space for the kids. This a place where the whole family can enjoy no matter the ages..... This was a perfect Beach Resort - not a Hotel.....

Room was great. Felt like home with the full kitchen and washing machines. Very nice and comfortable. Pool was nice. All the stores were close.
I don't like how its a "self serve " resort. No room service or housekeeping. We couldn't even get new clean blankets after staying there a whole week. You have to wash your own linens.. Who wants to spend their vacation washing towels and blankets..
Other than that it was OK.

Perfect place for a family that doesn't want to be stuck in a hotel room. It's like an apartment and very comfortable. The master bedroom has bathroom with double sinks and a walk in closet. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds perfect for kids or single adults. This is also a tiny area with bunk beds.

This hotel is great! Not only does it have a fully functional kitchen but there was enough room for the whole family! The pools were also great and everywhere was very quiet. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to stay at a hotel near Disney World!

We spend three nights here. I can agree with almost all of the positive reviews of amenities by other travelers, but if you stayed in our room, you probably had a sleepless vacation. The king bed was hard with little padding and the pillows were uncomfortable and way past their prime. From reading other reviews I can see that others had good beds so if you elect to stay here I recommend that you check out the room and bed before moving in and ask for better if it is lacking.

Very spacious, clean and great views. Pool and hot tub right on the lake. Felt very at home. Service only showed up when needed. Great place overall.

This place is totally 100% amazing and will for sure always retur whenever we come back to Florida. It was aight debate between this place and one of the DisneIt was a debate between this place and one of the Disney hotels and when I found out everything that came with this hotel, I had to do.I chose to go with the non refundable rate because I knew for sure I'd be traveling to Florid and when I called to book it they told me I could get it for even a little bit cheaper because I was calling and doing the non-refundable. I booked the family suit, pull out soda bed, bunkbed, and a king bed with a Jacuzzi bathtub. The Blue Heron ROCKS!!!!!! Thanks for making our trip amazing!!

The beds were as hard as the floor, coupled with being as squeaky as the doors. No need to discuss the pillows. And then the frustration of having to use the hotel key to get to any floor on the elevators, and then not having the key work. Very frustrating.

Now those were the concerns, but we all agreed that the layout of the suite was great for extended families and of course the kids loved the bunk beds. The pools were well done and not crowded.

Price was good compared to all the over priced properties in the Disney area, but don't think what you get is worth it for the money saved.
