A lovely hotel as you approach and once inside you are greeted by staff who are really friendly and helpful. Hotel bar is nice with garden area available also. Room was clean and fairly spacious. Check in and out simple and quick. Location is good for many of London's locations and the hotel is also opposite a tube station which is convenient. Prices are typical for the area.

We had a wonderful time at the Crown Plaza in Kensington. The location is excellent and the staff were super friendly and helpful—especially the receptionist on arrival and Giancarlo, the concierge. The room was excellent and the bed and pillows very comfortable. The bar and restaurant were good and I loved the little pods outside. When we visit London again I would definitely book here for a second time.

Great hotel with helpful staff. The room that I stayed in was clean tidy and beautiful it had plenty of natural light and was spacious. Breakfast was delicious and the concierge service was incredibly useful

This was our first visit to England. We relied solely on the reviews of others. While it was very convenient to the tube I would have preferred it to be a little safer and cleaner area. This is a semi clean place to stay (I prefer cleaner). As compared to the staff of American four/five star hotels they were kind of rude and not very accommodating. Next time we fly to London we will try to stay closer to Buckingham Palace in the Mayfair District (newer, cleaner, seemingly safer area).

Attended Purpose to Abundance, an amazing GTeX event, recently as a guest so the review is not of a hotel room stay.

We were in a meeting room on the lower ground floor. Refreshing water and cups were available just outside the room. I was early and waited in the hotel lobby area which was welcoming, very clean and brightly lit due to natural lighting. There weren't many seats but enough. I could see through the window there was a garden, which was well used on a warm afternoon in August.

The meeting room was the perfect size with comfortable chairs; although the air con was not very strong and it got quite warm once seats were filled. Many were sweating. The toilets are very close, just outside the room on the same level. Clean.

Thank you Crown Plaza for playing host to such an inspirational event, which had some incredible speakers and guests in attendance from all over the world.

The hash browns are circular and taste weird.
As an English man I prefer the traditional hash browns. I hope they change this. I spoke to other customers and they did not like the taste of the circular hash browns at all. Besides the breakfast... everything seemed to be very nice. Especially the workers

The hotel has been recently refurbished and looks nice, but missing some attention to details, especially in the bathroom, where mould and rust are everywhere.

Service really good, and the garden is a really nice touch! Food good as well.

Hotel was great.

Location is one of the best things about this hotel and it’s one you will never forget. The subway entrance is across the street and it’s a main line but not a busy stop. Most food is in walking distance. Herrods is in walking distance. And most shops are in walking distance.

A slight problem that we had was we left our bag in the room after we checked out. I went up to get it after we realized on the subway.

The problem I have is that my key still worked after the time we checked out, and the bag was still in the room after the room steward cleaned the room. I would have thought 1) my to not work and 2) the steward to bring the bag down to the front desk.

Other than that was a awesome hotel.

Despite some minor drawbacks, we mostly enjoyed our 5-night stay at the Crowne Plaza Kensington. The hotel property and rooms were clean and comfortable. We chose this hotel for the double bed family rooms, which was surprisingly spacious. I really liked that breakfast was included so that was quite convenient and a peace of mind when starting our day.

Location was superb as the hotel is located across the Gloucester tube station, half a block away from the hop-on hop-off bus stops, and a short walk to Harrods and other shops.

My only issue was with housekeeping. Our room included two complimentary bottles of still water upon check-in. The bottles were replenished on the second day but were forgotten on the third, forth and fifth day. Perhaps it was because we had purchased additional bottles of still water (which were stored in the mini fridge) but that doesn't negate our entitlement to the complimentary water each day during our stay. My husband had to purchase two bottles from the front desk one evening at £2 a bottle since Boots pharmacy across the street closes at 8pm and we previously purchased their remaining stock in the cooler. Housekeeping also didn't bother cleaning/replacing the used mugs and spoons. By the fifth day of our stay, we had a closet full of (four) used mugs that had been there for three days. Granted we could have easily rinsed them for re-use (which I did on our last night) but the onus should have been on housekeeping and not the guests.

Even so, I would probably stay here again for value and comfort of two beds and the convenient location.

Great location, very close to Gloucester Road tube station. Very clean hotel with modern furnishings and very helpful staff. Our room was very clean with bottled water, coffee and snacks replenished daily.

I’ve stayed at this hotel a lot - around a dozen stays ranging from one night to two weeks - and really recommend it.

The staff are consistently friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean. The hotel is conveniently located. And I especially appreciate the restaurant which specialises in well-executed Asian fusion cuisine; it is a welcomed break from the typical hotel fare of pasta, burgers and salads.

Great location, 20 minutes or less by underground to most all key tourist attractions. Three minute walk from Gloucester Road station. The hotel and our room is updated, modern and clean. Our standard room was perhaps 2/3 the size of the same room in North America. But that's the way buildings are constructed in the UK as space is at a premium. Great housekeeping service. Friendly desk staff, very helpful concierge. We would return again.

Lovely, comfortable hotel in a great location. Just across the street from the Gloucester station, so easy to get around London. I would recommend joining the hotel's loyalty club; the extra benefits (breakfast and evening drinks) definitely make it worth it. The rooms are well appointed. The bed is very comfortable.

Came here for afternoon tea in their library room. Was a quiet, relaxed environment with a good view of their garden. Scones were delicious - sandwiches and desserts satisfactory. Recommended.

I stayed here last March in a business trip and enjoyed my stay. The location of the hotel is very convenient near to the Hyde park and Harrods. The rooms although small in size but are cuzy and comfortable. We used the business facilities for our meeting and we liked them. The restaurant also was very good with many healthy food choices.

Overall I really enjoyed staying here, the rooms are spacious, comfortable bed, nice range of breakfast to choose from, fab garden space, close to knights bridge Harrods and Kensington high street, also has Tesco and Waitrose alongside Burger King and Gloucester Road train station across the road. Walking distance to the Victoria and Albert museum, natural museum and the science museum. You can also walk to Hyde’s park from here. The post office is doors away and the area is peaceful and bright. The staff are friendly, Robert, Joanna, Simon and Lovely Lily thanks for your smiley good mornings and tips and advice .
What needs improvement is the air conditioning and welcome baskets and also the smell next to the gym.

Lily was lovely. That girl needs a promotion, very hard working. She goes out of her way a lot. Staff of the month? any time I visit the hotel, that’s who I like to see. The hotel is very friendly, staff are smiley.

We had a lovely stay here this weekend whilst visiting the Royal Albert Hall. We were upgraded to an executive room, which was lovely. The staff were very polite and helpful, and the location is excellent. Directly opposite Gloucester Road Tube Station.

Great little hotel with good gym with plenty of weights and the secret garden is a must visit!!! Deserve a closer look if you plan to stay in this part of London.

Excellent location for the West end, plenty of restaurants in walking distance, rooms are nice and clean, good breakfast and the quickest room service I've ever encountered, easy check in, no car park so you have to use the local NCP but the bays are free on Saturday afternoon and all day Sundays. We had dinner at the Umani restaurant which was nice, all the staff were very helpful.

It was good and all but we got moved from The City which had water damage in some of the rooms. This means we got a little less than what we paid for but the overall service was great. The breakfast was in reasonable times and the wifi on the room was great for a hotel. The beds were comfortable and cleaned everyday. Although everytime they cleaned they turned off the AC which was annoying.

My family and I stayed for a week on vacation - the first time traveling outside of the US. The concierge service was wonderful. Excellent breakfast every morning with friendly and courteous wait staff. The room was clean and had all the amenities we needed. It was in a great location - 3 min walk to the Tube and had restaurants all around. I would stay in this hotel again if I go back to London. I've recommended it to others already.

Attended friend's leaving drinks. Amazing place with a lovely garden with massive cool looking gazebo (yes can be used while its raining). They have got happy hour from 18.00 till 19.00 and all drinks are 40% cheap.

Great location for Exhibition Road area museums (Natural History, Science, V&A, etc), Gloucester Road tube, numerous shops, restaurants and so on.

Family rooms are ideal with two double beds, good a/c, opening windows, plenty of amenities and a big TV.

Bar is nice and the hidden surprise is a huge rear garden where juniors can run a bit riot without annoying other guests in the outdoor bar smoking area.

Staff are excellent. Recommended.

I stayed here a month ago in the disabled room and it was fantastic. Easy to roll in and out of the room, very accessible shower, and lovely beds. The staff were very helpful and were very quick to operate the small lift next to the stairs. Only let down was the eggs at breakfast they were watery and rubbery.

Great location, with lots of conveniences nearby. Not very close to many of the primary tourist attractions, but those are easily reachable by public transportation, or through private tour companies.

Great hotel. Very helpful staff, they are amazing. Not to mention the support and the fundraising the manager did for Grenfell Tower. The hotel is very well located on Cromwell road with shops restaurants and supermarkets in immediate distance. Not seen the rooms myself however the function rooms and lobby are very stylish.

The staff were so friendly (we had extremely loud neibours with 4 kids and we could here everything they were saying and when we called downstairs they were there within 5 minutes granted this was at 11pm)food was alright the rooms were lovely and CLEAN unlike other places would definitely go again.

This is my absolute favourite hotel in London, the staff really make this place. They are always welcoming and most remember repeat customers by name. For top tier members of IHG Rewards the rooms are fantastic with upgrades given automatically when available.

Here for a work event and stayed one night - rooms have just been refurbished, beds are comfortable, no noise from road or other rooms and power ports and USB slots by the bed for those like me who carry about 5 things that need charging! This hotel was recently remodeled, and is much nicer than before. The lobby is high class. My room had lots of open electrical outlets and even USB charging. The front desk staff was helpful and efficient.

Cozy rooms and friendly service. Breakfast is OK. Location is pretty good especially if you plan on visiting the natural history museum and science museum.

The hotel is located just two minutes from Gloucester tube stop. The room is very nice, there is all you need, a little bit small for two adults and two children, honestly the two large beds take all the space. The breakfast is superlative and staff is kind. Sure this is a place where I'd like to come back.

We LOVED the Crowne Plaza! As soon as I walked into the lobby, I liked the hotel. And when we first walked into the room, I loved it! Clean, white, fresh, pristine linens on the bed. We evidently had a "deluxe" room so I don't know what a "standard" room would be like. We had excellent service (the maid, concierge, front desk). Very nice! The hotel is conveniently located, just a few steps from the Gloucester Road underground terminal and within walking distance of several museums. Good cafes and restaurants nearby.
