Das Mercure Hotel Mannheim am Rathaus liegt ca 1,8 km vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt. Der Empfang war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Beim Check In muss eine Kreditkarte o.ä. Als Sicherehibterkegt werden. Alles wirkt sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Inneneinrichtung ist geschmackvoll und angenehm gestaltet. Das Zimmer ist mehr als ausreichend groß und bietet alles, was man für seinen Aufenthalt benötigt. Ich persönlich fand die Klimaanlage wirklich vorteilhaft. Sie kühlt auf den Punkt herunter und lässt einen auch mit extremen heißen Temperaturen eine ruhige Nacht. Wirklich toll. Das Zimmer war sauber, ordentlich und bot sogar eine kleine Kaffee-Ecke. Das Bett ist angenehm weich. Insgesamt ein schönes Hotel, dass seinen Preis wert ist. Ich kann es absolut empfehlen.

On enquiry the hotel offered a great room with breakfast rate. We had an impromptu overnight stay here after a rendezvous with my folks in Mannheim. Had only planned to just catch up with them at the hotel before they set off again the next morning on their Euro-Bus Tour towards Lucern. Top notch quality for the price, with decent hotel restaurant and an excellent breakfast buffet.

Small closet, without fridge on the room, the rest good. there better hotel for the same price or a little more.

Second time for me in this hotel and it has been once again a good experience. Nice staff, abundant breakfast, excellent quality of sleep, rooms are spacious, the wifi works well. I will be back!

Excellent service, clean, well presented rooms. The ladies in the bar were pleasant to chat to, but didn't let it interfere with their duties. My only niggle was poor wifi strength.

Good, comfy hotel in Mannheim. The bed was huge and super comfortable. To add to that, they provide you some free tea and coffee in the room, which is a nice touch.

The prices were super fair when I was there too.

Clean hotel and room. Very difficult to find in amongst the no entry roads and one way grid system they have there. There is only one way to drive to the hotel and your SatNav will struggle. Once the maze has been learnt it's easy.

Always a perfect place for a weekend stay. Nice and comfy rooms and really quiet. Good connection to main station and city center.

Great breakfast, clean and properly equipped room, good value for the money. Reception staff is polite, however from administration viewpoint there is still room for improvement.

The only reason why I haven't given this hotel 5 start is because number one they don't provide you with a small fridge in your room when I went for a visit it was 30 degrees so having a fridge in your room is a most, but they do have facility at there restaurant but I think it's all about convenient second on is which is my preference they only give you two bottle of sparkling water everyday as a gift but me and my family don't like sparkling water specialy when we have 6 room so I asked them if they can exchange it for normal water and they said no we have to buy normal water for 2€ which is a rip off apart from that this hotel experience was amazing.

Nice hotel. Make sure you enjoy the delicious breakfast there. Take the outdoor seat amd enjoy morning air in its garden.

The hotel over booked us and couldn't offer us a room, but instead booked us at a 4 star hotel to apologize and paid for our way there. The staff were so amazing.

Kind people. Spacious rooms. Swiftly changed second bed with baby bed so our daughter could sleep comfortably. Delicious breakfast.

Nice hotel, clean and cozy rooms, delicious food, courteous staff, market and sight seeing spots at a walking distance. You can also walk to nearby station as well.
One star missing as room do not have fridge and restaurant menu do not have English version.

My home away from home. The staff is more than friendly and helpful...they take special care. The rooms are basic but always fresh, clean and comfortable. And the restaurant is really excellent, with a great wine selection from the region.

Basic hotel with typical amenities. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Nothing special, though perhaps a bit newer than some Mercures. Service is friendly. The check-out queue during rush hour on business days is quite long.

Everything nice and neat. Breakfast was also nice. Staff friendly and helpful.

A friend of mine made a reservation error (wrong date, really stupid) and we were for two beds short with a fully booked Mercure hotel.

The staff was really helpfull and got us a good alternative for the four of us at no extra cost! Rooms are good, service is excellent, will most definetly return next year!
