Lovely hotel in a great location. A bit away from the tourist craziness but near lots of public transit and great resturaunts. Nice staff and really no complaints. Certainly not super fancy but high quality for the price.

Very nice hotel. Our room war very Clean and modern. Breakfast was great. Would Come Back again. The only Thing Missing was a little fridge.

STAFF WORK SO HARD ...
We had a first floor room , lovely and clean with maid service every day, our only complain was it was directly above the bar and restaurant so we was woken early by the chairs been moved etc, apart from no lie in can't fault this hotel, very chic, modern and chilled...highly recommend to those who like that kind of atmosphere and like a walk ..old town approx 20 min walk , we will be back, thank you !!!!

I stayed here as my flight was cancelled. Lovely hotel, good decent hairdryer, great size room, the kitchen was closed when we arrived at 1am but they found someone to cook for us, leant me adapter plug, lovely double shower, very modern hotel, a great selection of hot and cold food at breakfast and they even had lactose free milk. definitely would stay here if I came back to Prague.

We enjoyed our 5 day stay at Pentahotel. The staff were very friendly and made us feel at home. Nothing was ever a problem for them. We ate at the restaurant a few times and the food was delicious. Our room was very comfortable and the rooms were clean and modern. Was a lovely stay and would recommend to my friends and family.

Trendy boutique hotel in a good location near a tube stop. Away from the hustle and bustle but only a short commute from old town. Need to sort out the bar service though...

This is a great hotel, quite trendy with a Pool table in the bar area. Rooms are spotless, breakfast fabulous. When I go back to Prague I will definitely be staying here. Two Tram stops within a minutes walk to take you into the centre. If you book here you will not be disappointed.

Great hip hotel, location is bit far off for walking to the center during the harsh winter but karlin area has very good places like restaurants, cafes, bars nearby. Friendly staffs, good services. Soundproofing sucks you can hear everything going on in the hallway, heating and floor heating in the bathroom could be bit more improved. Oh, no fridge if you like to keep your drinks chilled. Overall great place. Metro and tram stop is very near by. Wish I didn't have a crazy drunk people in the hallway knocking on everyone's door at 2am and there was no staff showing up to stop it.

We have spent a week in this magic city and was very glad to stay in this hotel. Very clean and nice place. Great location and service!

Stayed here just after Christmas for a few days it was fantastic, seriously recommended, however the breakfast, whilst whats on offer is excellent the set up is absolutely murder - too many guests not enough space - top tip get down early if you want to eat in comfort.

other than that, everything else was great, safe and secure, staff really friendly, rooms tip top, shower was fab etc.

The hotel is quite nice and very hip. The staff is really slow. It took me over 30 minutes to get checked in. The bathroom door sign was a bit offensive.

Helpful & friendly staff. Clean & cozy facilities. Hot water pot in room for tea or coffee. Nice industrial-themed lounge. A block away from a Metro station & tram stops across the hotel (important, since tourist sites are not really accessible on foot.) No frills, but comfortable after a day's touristy adventures. Beer on tap right at the bar/information desk.

It's a great place to spend several nights. With a very flexible breakfast time schedule. The ammount of services available in this hotel is overwhelming. The price is reasonable and it's 20 min walking from the center of Prague, so you can get almost anywhere from there on foot or using the underground stop that is near the hotel. Cannot think of a better place to stay in Prague, even if there are a lot of fancy hotels in the city center I still would prefer this one.

Nice hotel with a centre concentrated bar, expensive to eat and drink here in comparison to eating and drinking out. Comfortable twin room with room service, great showering room and balcony to the back streets of Prague. Lifts and staircase, slate pool table, PlayStation etc. One can't help thinking that with all the periphery, maybe they could just keep a better eye on the finer details of hotel management.

Was there a few years ago when it was still fairly new to the area. Great Breakfast Buffet, Great place to dine! love that the reception area is the Bar! Super friendly and accomdating staff with great suggestions for locals only sights. It is also conveniently located by trams and Metro! I highly recommend it - beautiful rooms and decor throughout!

Well located. 2 metro station from main city center. Trendy atmosphere and kind staff. Only limited food type at restaurant.

Checking in was ok. We arrived around 9pm receptionist wasnt very informative when checking in only gave us where the lifts where and room number.
Hotel room/lobby is very modern, stylish and clean. Comfortable beds although would prefer more than one pillow.
Staff were nice and polite if you were to approach them other than that i wouldn't say they went above and beyond. The location of the hotel isn't that close to everywhere you want to visit whilst to Prague. A good 30/40 minute walk. We used uber a lot which was very quick. Krystal bistro is a lovely place to eat opposite. Hotel Food is served until 10pm and some items are 24hrs. Room service is very quick and staff bring the food up. Lovely place to stay and very modern and stylish. The atmosphere is almost like it's for young people However there is a lot of business men/ elderly staying here too. Our room was facing the road and was quite lot of noise. The hallways seemed to be noisy also.
All In all a nice place to stay. Would stay here again.

For this price I really expected more. Free internet doesn't even allow to check your mails... you can buy high speed internet for about 7€\day. Really, we pay 180€\night and no internet connection :(?
Parking is also ridiculously expensive (22€\night).
The elevators works bad, if you have your room on last (7th) floor every time you want to go up or down you spend about 7-10 min waiting for elevator or stopping on every floor.

However, facilities of the hotel are very nice. Bathroom with warmed floor and giant shower, giant, very comfortable bed, large tv screen with many movies, cleaning every day. Stuff is very polite, nice and helpful.
No problems with dog :)
You can also spend time in very comfortable lobby with bar and play station.

Really good hotel, with very nice rooms. Bar isn't expensive, and the food is good. The only little let down is the noise you can here from the hallway (I understand this is not entitle the hotels fault, as they can't be blamed for the 5/6 yobs who were staying on our floor. The ones who shout "Oi oi" to each other, like the are from Green Street or something. Poor lads. Didn't get a ride between them. Should have concentrated less on "forever blowing bubbles" and more so on being blown, but to be fair, their I.Q combined would equate to less the our room number, 320), however everything else was spot on. Thanks for a great stay.

We were staying in this hotel five days. When we ordered the hotel we were afraid it's too far from the city center, which proven not true - the hotel is something like 5 minutes in metro from the center. There is a very very close metro station, and two tram(the upper train) stations very close.
The design of the place is magnificent, it has a lot of sofas and chairs in the lobby, it has a bar as a reception, there are lights and it feels like a dance club, in the night there are candles on each table which make the place warm and pleasent.
The breakfast was absolutely amazing, we were at hotels in Europe before, and we thought it's going to be the same, and again we were proven wrong. In the breakfast there were multiple kinds of bread, multiple cheeses, salmon, sausages, bacon, multiple kinds of eggs, a lot of cereal options, hot drinks machine. There were a lot of cakes and sweets in the breakfast which made it even better. We wanted to get to the next day only because of the excellent breakfast.
The service was one of the best I have ever whitnesse, everything we wanted happened right away, for example I have a medicine that has to be in a refrigerator, and from the first day they helped me and put it for me in their refrigerator. Another example, one day there was a problem with our door so we went down to the reception to tell them, when we got back to the room the technician was already there.
The hotel has also amazing menu for food to order and it's not expensive at all.
The hotel also suggests billiard/snooker table which you can play whenever you want. If that's not enough there is PS4 with tons of games to play with and also two PS VITA.

The only disadvantage of the place is the fact that most of the restaurants are in the center of the city, which means we need to take a train to get there.
But we have found some amazing restaurants in our area:
1. Starbucks - 2 minutes walk
2. Nejen Bistro - very close and cheap restaurant with amazing food
3. Gate - Italian restaurant with the best meals we have eaten in Prague
There are also McDonald's, KFC, Subway and bageterie boulevard not that far from the hotel.
Also there is a Billa (supermarket) very close where you can buy food.

I recommend this place so much, I would love to go there again!

Great hotel! Nice rooms. Great gym with more options than most! Loved the breakfast! Definitely recommendable! Close to city center too. Will definitely come back! Only issue was that the bar only used one tap to serve 100+ people. They should have a look at how to optimize that service.

There is always something wrong. Too hot in summer, shower problems, noisy, Slow wifi, etc..

The beds\cushion are not that comfortable. Pros: good gym and breakfast.

People are nice, rooms big (at least mine) and the food ok.
Watchout: internet connection does not allow vpn, thus working might impossible.

Visiting Prague was an experience I will never forget, a city steeped in history with unbeatable views of its many churches and historical buildings spanning a millennia of development and progression in architecture and styling. What made this experience better was our stay at the Prague Penta Hotel.

Penta is conveniently located with a leisurely 25 minute walk into the city along either street scape or the Vitava river, its rooms and facilities were exceptional and well appointed and kept our two young boys occupied when we had finished exploring for the day. The staff are friendly and helpful and speak a variety of lanquages and the food is fantastic with a large selection of tasty morsels available all night if required and a breakfast spread that kept us well energised for the day.

This is the second time we have stayed with Penta in different cities, and both experiences have been exceptional, we will definitely be back again elsewhere.. Thanks again team at Penta..

My wife and I stayed here in early November 2014. We found the hotel to be nicely modern. They had a good breakfast each morning with a balance of American and Czech offerings. All of the hotel staff were wonderful, from the bartenders to the cleaning staff. The only complaint I have is the single elevator is much too small. We arrived alongside several other travelers and making it to our room took a fair amount of time. The heavy fragrance of the hotel lobby also smelled like Axe body spray, so meh. Other than those two concerns, we would give this hotel 5 stars. Overall, a very nice and comfortable place to stay, we would definitely stay again. There was also a great coffeehouse/bakery just a couple blocks away recommended to us by a native and it was close to local transit lines. If not wanting to take public transportation, the hotel was only about a 15-20 minute walk from the town square.

Classic hotel bar, lounge music, good drinks. Food is a little bit expensive given the quality I would say, but otherwise ok. Nice & quick staff. Billiard is also a plus.

I treated my 13 year old son to a sight-seeing trip of Prague 29 June 2014 – 2 July 2014. We were looking for an inexpensive, convenient hotel to base ourselves. Penta hotel Prague ticked all the boxes. For a 13 year old boy it was the pin ball machine and movies on a large screen in the room; plus a billiards table, world cup on large TVs in a funky bar and a play station area. For his Mum it was the friendly staff, seamless and efficient check in and check out at the bar; large, clean, well-stocked bathroom; small sitting room and convenient proximity to the train station directly to Prague centre. Recommended and I would stay again.

Great place for a reasonable price. It's an industrial chic place with great service and if booked executive room lots of space and quiet at night.
