Very well appointed hotel. Decor is muted, but very tastefully done. Rooms are clean, cosy and comes with a comfortable bed. My only gripe would be that I find the pillows to be too soft (but that's more a personal preference issue).

Staff are well trained and extremely helpful.

It is a good mix between traditional and modern decoration. A traditional musician plays on evenings adding a very peaceful atmosphere to the lobby.

This hotel is excellent averaging about 100 usd a night. Customer service is excellent. Has a western and a chinese restaurant. Rooms are huge. Has a pool and a gym. They can be easily compared with a 5 star hotel. Strongly recommend staying in this hotel if you are visiting tainan.

It' s really a comfy and luxurious hotel. And very moslem friendly. Second time I stayed here, they prepared well my needs as a moslem. Foods, prayer mate, etc. All the crew are very charming and helpfull

It’s nice to stay in silk place in Tainan, very spacious and cozy. The hotel is located in the center of the city, it’s easy to take a walk to have the street food around.

Was there only for a couple drinks. They open the bar, by the pool, The Glass House, only at 5 pm. We were the only 2 people ordering drinks. It took 20mins for my old fashion to arrive. So so service for the price they charge.

Very pleasant experience. Staffs were friendly during check in and answering enquiry. Greay facilities and Breakfast were enjoyable for both taiwanese and western choice. The interior of hotel was very grande. Near with 7-11 also.

Very good. Rooms are modern and spacious and hotel staff are quite courteous. The local breakfast isn't as good as trying all the separate dishes outside the hotel but it's not bad. Location is great as well.

I stayed for 2 nights at this hotel on my first visit to Tainan. Everything about the stay was lovely. The staff were very helpful and friendly, in spite of finding it hard to communicate as I don't speak Mandarin and their English isn't perfect. They provided help in finding places to go and extras for the room, such as a replacement iPhone cable and an iron/board. The room was spacious and the view from our room in the 11th floor was good, although unspectacular as we were mostly facing the department store. The mini bar was shocked with soft drinks that were free of charge and there were teas and coffees in the room. The beds were comfortable although I prefer more spring in my pillows so needed several. The room lay out was not my favourite thing, with sliding panels that shut off the bathroom where I would have ordered walls and doors, but it's a minor issue. The hotel had bars and music playing at student times if the day and out by the pool in the evening was a very relaxing way to spend an hour and have a drink. We didn't use the gym but had a look in. A small room with a few weights, a bench, 2 treadmills and other cardio equipment. Breakfast buffets are split. One Chinese, one western. Having tried both, the western offer seemed better as it also had some of the traditional Chinese elements included. A lovely stay in a hotel with a great location, friendly staff and great service.

Great environment, casual and relaxing. Good for family trip. Close to department store and some historical sites, such as Tainan district court ( a very well organized museum, it's free). The hotel offers free parking with name plate auto-recognized , very convenient. My wife and kids love to stay here.

Silks Place Tainan was our first stop in Taiwan. It's located at the most central and convenient area. Walking distance to many restaurants and attractions.
Rooms are spacious and clean. Must try the breakfast buffet!! They serve everything you want to eat in Tainan! The best beef soup!!

Beautiful hotel! Wonderful, friendly and accommodating staff. They had no problem creating delicious vegan, gluten free, soy free meals for us.

New and well equipped. You can rent the bicycle from the hotel and the location is 10-15min walk from local street food area. Breakfast is very nice as well.
