Although I was provided with exceptional customer service, I did not like the room too much. The windows had no curtains. When a car would pull up the light came in through the window. I iron all my clothes and there wasn't one in the room. I had to get from the front desk. The room didn't have any hand soap. I also had to get that from the front desk. On the bright side, the bed was comfy.

Great experience. I've stayed there for one week and do not have any complaint. The room was big with two beds, the beds were comfortable for me. There were a stove, microwave and good size refrigerator. They did supply me with towels and a soap but no shampoo-conditioner-etc. There was no coffee or coffee maker in the room, no hair-dryer but for the price of the room ($40+ for a night) you can bring your own or buy at a local walmart and still save money. I had a problem with a key but they reprogrammed it and it started to work. There is no overnight staff there but if you need them after-hours you can call and they send someone to help you. I will stay there my next visit for sure.

Straight forward, clean rooms, everything worked. No ovens, no wash cloths, I think you have to buy a coffee pot.
Edit: initially I gave them four stars, but I was pretty turned off on my departure day. They left a note on my door the day before and asked me in person if I was leaving and I told them I was. Apparently that was not good enough for them as the next day they knocked on my door at 8:00am and 10:30, I vacated the room before 10:45.

The friendly staffing, affordable prices and the general feeling of home away from home but then again they make you feel as though this is home.

It was wonderful. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our air conditioner broke and they checked it out and it was fixed soon after. Very affordable and great if you would like to actually cook. They have stove tops a microwave and full sized fridges in all rooms. Landry room was alittle small 6 washers and driers but never had any problems. There were always empty ones to use. Overall great place to stay.

It is a nice place to stay if you can attending New Mexico State University.

Price is right, especially to the State that pays the rent for hundreds of recipients in most of these small efficiencies. Lack of management leaves rooms with items unfixed, dirty kitchen floors, lack of normal dusting and cleaning between quests. Even if you pre-pay you get locked out. Dead landline room phone, internet is awful, even buying the upgrade for $12.99 a week you had to log in several times a day and again within minutes of logging on. Towels were always short. Empty promises by management for fixing problems. If you can only afford minimal night stay, it may still be not worth it.

I am a long term resident at this location. The staff are very nice and professional. The premises are always clean. It's a very good living arrangement for me. This addition to my post is on 2/21/2018. I have been living here for 4 1/2 months now. It is a secure facility, which is my main reason for living here. All of the rooms on 3 floors are identified as non - smoking. Recently, however, I have smelled cigarette and very strong marijuana odors on the 1st floor.

I stayed here for a month from July to August of 2017. The staff were all very friendly and the rooms were well-kept. I never had any plumbing problems and my neighbors were quiet at night. I did see police cars stop by in the parking lot pretty often which gave a bit of a sense of security. The only two things I was not happy with was how slow and unreliable the wifi was and how the fire alarm went off so often due to tenants having bad cooking skills.

I stay here every time I visit Las Cruces. The value and location can't be beat! Rooms are basic but comfortable, clean and the staff has always been accommodating. I think some of the negative reviews come from those expecting a full service hotel which this was never intended to be. Rather this is an extended stay brand with limited & specific features designed for longer stays.

The room were small for 2 bed. But they were ok. Good staff and the place was clean.

Clean rooms and Paula is an awesome manager. She is so nice and is always there to help you with anything you need.

My friend was in dire straights and needed a room quickly. I called the phone number, and somehow got routed to a call center instead of straight to the front desk, where the agent tells me they have availability. I booked the room, then headed over with my friend to check in. At the front desk, Sonia was on duty and she told us that they had no rooms available. I told her I spoke with someone and they said there was availability. Sonia looked at her bookings for the night, called whom I assumed was her manager, and was able to accommodate my friend by moving some booking around; all in less than 10 minutes. She was very diligent, sweet, and professional with us.

The room was clean and had everything we expected for the decent price we paid. The kitchenette is a nice feature for those who need to stay for extended periods of time.

I really liked this hotel I got good sleep , it was quiet and beds / pillows were very comfortable. Great environment and close to fwy and shopping center :)

The location is really good if you are going to be near the university. It can get crowded for major events at the Pan American Center

Good location and amazing rooms.

Friendly front desk staff was very helpful and approachable. We stayed on the 4th floor, where apparently smoking is allowed, so we did leave smelling like ashtrays. There was a big brown stain on the fitted sheet, which housekeeping came and swapped out. All in all, I felt is was worth the low cost paid for the room.

The overall stay was nice. Definitely worth it for the price. We did have to call the front desk for a clean fitted sheet. The one that was on our bed was clean (I think anyways), but had a huge brownish stain on it. They brought it to the room with in 5 minutes of the call.... The lack of stars here is for the smell of smoke on the fourth floor. It was so bad we both woke up with a sore throat. It was supposed to be a non smoking floor yet smelled like a casino floor. It was absolutely awful. With that said would I stay there again? Yes, but only if I am going to be staying in a city for 3 days or more, cause I would be saving a substantial amount of money for a hotel room. Plus the room had a full fridge, and a stove. So we also have the ability to save money on food expenses. If you are only in for a night or two your probably just better off staying in another hotel nearby like the sleep inn.... Like we are doing tonight. The reason being that I don't want to wake up with a sore throat because they can't do their joba and keep from smoking inside the hotel?....

Everything was really nice. The only complaint that I had is that the key cards don't work correctly here. It caused a problem with a few guests not just myself.

Towels were not clean enough. Bed was a liittle stiff. Everything else was good.

The place is nice for the price. We got a sort of studio apartment set up going for the week. Staff is super friendly and the view is fantastic, though the bed is a little hard and our remote didn't work. The "high speed" internet is not worth the money, would not recommend adding that on. Bring shampoo!

I have recently stayed at the Value Place in Las Cruces near the University. Katie and her team were very welcoming and pleasant. If I had gold stars I would give one to each of them. Good work team Las Cruces! I will be staying there again.

Amazing place to go. The staff was exceptionally nice and the were so nice and helpful. Rooms were so clean and fresh. Housekeepers were curious and clean. Management was amazing . And it was so safe and I felt comfortable and secure there. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. The price is a bit. But still a good deal.
