Suites are very large and attractive but the elevator system cannot accommodate all the people who are staying here... there is always a lot of people waiting to get on the elevator because I'm the weight limit... It would be nice if the owners would add on another elevator system! PAMELA at the front desk was a lovely lady who helped us several times during our stay. Very kind and gentle woman!

I think this is my new go-to spot for the few times a year I have to come down to Miami for business. Clean, comfortable and quiet (at least if you stay on the lagoon side of the property that's not facing the airport runway). The staff was very helpful and the facilities were well maintained. Recommended for sure.

If you want a cheap stay, this is your place. The airplanes fly right overhead. Convenient last minute shopping nearby. Breakfast was decent. Stay here was one night to board next day cruise. Would possibly stay again....

The place is really nice and it does feels like home. Love this chains due to having a lot space to hang out while in your room and having a full equipped kitchen space to avoid depending on outside food. If riding on a rental or your own car, feels really close to miami beach or the malls (less than 20 min away from either). Only improvement opportunity in the cleaning of some aspects like the carpets which were not clean during our stay.

Pros: comfortable beds and pillows! Very clean and good breakfast. Staff were polite.

Cons: fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and building evacuated and fire trucka came. I found out the next morning from coworkers and it NEVER went off on my floor. Terrifying if this was an emergency (someone burned toast 2 floors down). Told staff, they didn't seem very concerned about the lack of alarm. Elevators are also SLOW and pool is nothing to brag about. Basically in the parking lot. A coworkers car was stolen from the parking lot as well.

The suites are kinda old, but they’re very good and clean. The internet connection is not very good, you have to pay for a decent one. Staff is very helpful. The breakfast is good with wide variety and same for the complementary dinner and snacks. The free airport shuttle is a plus. Free parking and it’s a good one. Overall I enjoyed my stay here.

The rooms were decently clean. We had a two queen suite with the kitchen. The eyes of the stove top were a bit gross. The ice maker of the refrigerator didn't work. The faucets were stiff to turn on and my 5 year old needed help. Most of the housekeeping staff, which were great, only spoke Spanish which made it difficult to ask for towels and such. The pool was nice but you did have to leave the building and walk around to get to the gate. They offer a nice hot breakfast every morning and a complimentary meal on certain nights. The entire staff was great and we enjoyed the 10 nights we stayed here. I would definitely choose a Homewood Suites hotel again.

If you have to go to Miami on business and stay for any length of time this was a wonderful place. The amenities are decent and the staff was superb. From the amount of families staying there I would venture to say it is a family friendly place also. The only detracters I found was a lot of the building is old and the hallways can be very loud (meaning you can hear conversations in you room from the hallway).

I've stayed here on multiple occasions as it is in close proximity to major highways in the area. The rooms are nice but the appliances could use a bit of an update. The evening reception is wonderful. I was a little late to one of them but the staff went out of their way to get me food from the back even though everything was out away already. I am very impressed with the consistency of this hotel and will continue to stay here when I come to the area.

It was a quality stay. Our room was spacious (2 room suite) and had the expected amenities. Wasn't overly nice but had a good location and free snacks in the evening. Overall, quality stay and worth the price.

Traveled with my boyfriend and 9 yr old son and niece. Parking is free, which is a luxury in Miami. Hotel lobby is huge and nicely laid out, modern decor, large breakfast area. Check in process was swift and staff were super friendly. The rooms were clean, can tell the pictures and lamps have been updated in the last remodel. My boyfriend and son slept on the sofa bed and said it was a comfortable sleep. King bed was cozy, no signs of bed bugs on either mattress. Had a view of the airport but no plane noise to disturb our sleep. A/C worked superb. Restroom is very tiny, to the point where if you're on the toilet you can't close the door without turning your legs completely to the side. Handle on the toilet broke our second evening but the staff was amazing and reimbursed us for that night. There is a small outdoor pool and hot tub with a view of blue lagoon. Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday was extensive w/homemade waffles and omelets. Overall I'd come back to this property. Special kudos to the front staff, they were awesome.

Very friendly staff and the breakfast was a bit better than most free breakfasts. Seems like they could use a bit more funding for renovations though. I will definitely stay here again

Quick easy access with a traffic light at entrance on Gateway blvd. Shopping and restaurants across the street. Beach up the road to the east. Quiet and comfortable, great rooms, great breakfast with hot and cold items, super comfortable rooms and great working AC. plenty of parking.

This hotel has everything someone travelling needs... on paper. Once you arrive, it's not quite up to par. I'll give some examples.

It has a pool, but many of the chairs were broken, the pool was filled with leaves, and there were used towels on the ground. chairs, loungers and tables were disorganized. It was obvious that no one from the hotel tidied up the day I was there.

I was happy to hear there was a fitness room! but only 1 bench, 1 rack of weights and some cardio equipment. No dumbbells, no resistance machines... there wasn't even a yoga mat. The floor wasn't clean so I used a towel to do planks. I was very disappointed.

I was excited to see a light dinner was included! But then it was a bowl of popcorn, a bowl of crackers and veggies/fruit trays. I ended up going to the grocery store down the street instead. I was anticipating something more fulfilling. With that being said, the breakfast was very good.

Rooms are well-equiped, were well-cleaned, and stocked more than other hotels. This was a great part of staying here. Also, the staff's customer service was phenomenal. If the hotel amenities matched their attitude and friendliness, this would be the best hotel in Florida.

The hotel has everything necessary to be a great place to stay, they just need to focus on holding what they offer to a higher standard. It's not just having these amenities, it's maintaining them and improving them as time goes on.

That is worth a million bucks in this day and age of terrible customer service. Rooms are comfortable and clean. I come to Miami often, and will definitely recommend Homewood Suites.

Nice room, jacuzzi & pool open 24 hours, free actual breakfast (not just doughnuts and coffee), laundry facilities. Hassle free staff.

Everyone was so welcoming and pleasant. Hotel was super clean and smells so good. We enjoyed every second of our stay and will definitely be returning our next trip to Miami.

Close to the airport. About a 5-10 minute reply. Right on the lagoon so many rooms have a water view. There a good amount of drug stores/ resterants close by. The rooms are made like a small studio apartment. There is a main room with a pull out couch, tv and a small kitchen. The kitchen has utensils and a 4 burner stove top. There is also a dish washer and a fridge with a freezer.They don't have any ice machines but have an ice tray or you can pick a bag up at the front desk. Monday - Thursdays they have complimentary dinner along with free beer and wine. And every morning they have a complimentary breakfast. They also have a pool and spa, along with a 24 hr fitness room.

Hotel is decent. The staff is amazing, very courteous. I enjoy the dinner provided. The hotel itself needs some TLC. That said, I just received a notice that renovations are on the way.

Stayed here for a wedding and reserved rooms and the conference space. The guest rooms are phenomenal and we were welcomed with huge fruit trays upon our arrival! The rooms were perfect for our extended stay. We had a wedding shower in the conference room and it was sufficient. Oddly, it's on the 2nd floor but it worked out great because we didn't encounter ground traffic for our private event. Juan and Ally were great to worth with along the process and I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

5 of us stayed in a 2 bedroom suite for a night before our cruise. The room was clean and comfortable. Check-in was easy and staff was friendly and helpful. I would have rated them a 5 but ice maker was broken so we had to call and ask for ice. Two phone calls and an hour later, it was delivered. Teens went to jacuzzi and said it was dirty, luke warm and spitting and not bubbling. Also had to call us to bring 2 bath towels down bc there were no pool towel at the pool. Our room number was 523.

Love the complimentary food and drinks during the week. Such a pleasant surprise! Staff is all very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious, but slightly outdated and the bed was not as comfortable as others in comparable hotels. That being said, it was not bad enough where I would not stay here again.

Well located hotel for Miami airport with good views over lake from higher floors. Reception staff are very friendly and courteous. Room was in need of decoration and refurbishment. Hotel lobby was spacious with lots of staging and an internet area. Free parking for guests.

Stayed here one night before heading to a cruise. The service received was good, the shuttle service and check in was smooth and easy, the room was nice and liked the layout with the bedroom completely separate from the living area. Plenty amenities for an extended stay such as full size fridge, small stove, microwave, coffee maker and utensils and cookware. The complimentary breakfast was satisfying, tasty, and had various hot and cold options. The staff was very helpful and attentive

Nice hotel in a great location for the airport and the work I was doing. Only complaint I had was that the parking lot completely flooded where my car was from a relatively routine south FL burst so I had to walk in over an inch of water to get into my rental car soaking my feet to start the work day. Staff was very nice during the stay so really no major complaints.

Clean cheerful and tastefully simple decorated rooms that would be comfortable for a long-term or short-term stay. Front desk staff is extremely friendly and professional. I will absolutely stay there again. Great value. Beds are very firm fyi.

Decent hotel with good amenities. Our air conditioning was broken when we first got in, but they quickly upgraded us to a new room. The hotel staff was friendly and provided me with complimentary tooth paste. And set me up with a free shuttle to the airport. Their gym is kind of small, but it did the job. And breakfast was decent - the eggs were not great but they had many other options. Overall, good experience.

We visited with my wife and two daughters. This is a very nice place to stay. Good view and the staff was amazing. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, snacks and drinks. We definitely will be back in our next trip to Miami.

We stayed at this hotel overnight prior to going on a cruise. We took the cruise package which included the hotel room, a full breakfast, and a shuttle service to the cruise ship. We arrived at the hotel on Saturday night about 11:30 pm. We called the hotel from the airport and within 20 minutes their free shuttle picked us up. Upon arrival at the hotel we told the front desk that we were starving - they immediately pulled out take out menus from local establishments that deliver and even gave us recommendations. We had a 2 bedroom suite with a kitchen, living room and 2 bathrooms. Room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast in the morning was very good and many selections - can't beat it for a FREE breakfast. Checkout was simple and the shuttle to the ship was there exactly when they told us it would be. I highly recommend this hotel as a stop prior to or post cruise. It is very close to the airport and a short ride to the cruise ships. Rate was very reasonable and the hotel was very nice. I would definitely stay here again.

I was here for two night in November 2016 and was very impressed with the location, not far from Miami international after a long flight from London. The one bedroom suite was spacious and clean. The only issue was the in room safe, which didn't look secured, would be nice if it was a digital one rather than a key.

I've stayed at this hotel a number of times during a golf outing with my husband and continue to return because of the: friendly staff, hotel cleanliness, soft clean towels, nice complimentary breakfast and happy hour. It's not fancy, but makes you feel at home. It's also pretty centrally located near the airport and right off of FL SR-836, so easy to get to South Beach, Coconut Grove, and other areas of Miami.

Great option for a party of more than 3. Good confortable suits with kitchen. Perfect stay for more than 7 nights. Strategic location within just minutes of Airport MIA, great dinning (Coral Gables ) and casual Shopping ( International and Dolphin Mall)

We were really in and out for a cruise. Great for this purpose. Not a lot nearby for food but several places offer delivery (not just pizza) and the hotel had a shuttle and they are willing to take you. Great breakfast. Enjoyed the outdoor hot tub. It was clean and beds are comfy. The staff was happy and friendly. I liked the 3 room setup in the suites. Could have done without the sound of the planes coming in but hey, it is the airport, and we thought it was kinda cool watching them land on, what seems like, the freeway!

The service was excellent. They let us check in early and out late. Also they let us eat breakfast when we arrived and the rooms were clean. Free beer and wine on evenings. Wonderful stay and free shuttle to airport and within 2 miles.

Great place! We booked it because of the cruise option and Hilton Honors, but would stay there again! Fast check in and check out and great service! Shuttle to and from the cruise port were perfect for what we needed. Dropped us off right were we needed to be!

This Hilton hotel is very nice and comfortable. Located 5 to 10 minute from Miami International Airport, have a lovely Lakeview and the service is among the best that I have experience. I recommend this locating because it is nice and peaceful!!!

This Homewood went above and beyond what was necessary. They even provided a cake for my Son's birthday. The hotel is well kept and in a beautiful location with great views on all sides.

As an HHonors Diamond member, I have stayed in a lot of Hilton propeties, but the service here was above and beyond what was expected.

I have stayed at other Homewood Suites but this one I really enjoy because of the ambience and I really love the staff very attentive and very loving and my opinion this one has the best tasting food out of all the other Homewood Suites kudos to the cooks and staff. I miss you guys already 😊

Nice shuttle from the hotel. Very good rooms with great view. Breakfast was delicious.

King size room was huge with kitchenette. Did not attend breakfast so I do not have feedback on that. Hotel staff was very friendly and hotel was clean. Only downside was they only had one 8 person van for a shuttle so we had to order other transportation while traveling in a group.

It's not a bad hotel, although I found the rooms a little lacking aesthetically. The common areas were well-kept, but the fitness center is a little lackluster (one non-operational treadmill, one working with a broken book-rest, and one elliptical machine). And although I'm sure it was an isolated incident, my bedroom air conditioner sounded like a van idling in the hallway. I would stay here again, but I would probably be tempted to look at the other Hilton properties in the area first.

The hotel was nice and the staff was pleasant however the room was located on the ground floor and apparently near a service entrance. We could hear them speaking about housekeeping tasks for the day very early in the morning and woke us up. This continued and we where unable to go back to sleep.

Staff is top notch, highly recommended this place. If there is a flaw, it would be that there's not a lot if choices of restaurants around the area, so if you don't have a car, you're choices are limited. They do have a social hour though, they had really good pork sliders and beer and yes, it's all included. Don't pay attention to the bad reviews, this place is great.

The hotel is great. The only flaw is that the basketball court is so close to the lagoon. Therefore if you miss a shot the ball goes rolling down into the lagoon. Please fix this error. Otherwise it's a great hotel.

Go elsewhere if you are staying only for one night and depend on their courtesy shuttle between the airport and the hotel. Other hotels in the area provide a much better and dependable shuttle schedule. Their WiFi connectivity is also unreliable. The other ammenities and infrastructure are good, though.
