The Hotel Engeln in Papenburg is a modern family business now in its second generation. We have more than 130 beds in total. Our house offers you groomed living comfort as well as a friendly atmosphere and as such is the ideal starting point for discovering Papenburg. Overview of further services- HP- an VP- Our in-house half-timbered restaurant with open fireplace is perfect for cosy contemplation.. Here you can enjoy regional and international specialities prepared by our head chef of many years Stephan Schmidtke. Half and full board are available with all room reservations. Events and banquets. For events of all kinds there are diverse function rooms capable of accommodating up to 100 people. From a wedding to a product launch. We will make sure that your event will be a highlight. We offer advice on a case by case basis and adapt to your requirements. No barriers- Under our motto no barriers there is also a lift/ with which you can quickly and easily access your room. Our function rooms and guest rooms offer disability access. Health and wellbeing- Relax in our Finnish sauna and allow yourself be completely rejuvenated. Ideal for body and spirit. Parking facilities- Very good parking facilities with an on-site car park. We have sufficient room for buses. Additionally/ we offer a number of garages/ where your car or bicycle can be securely stored. Use of the car park is of course free of charge. Sehr gemütlich, sehr freundliches Personal !!!
Frau Langnese hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und immer dafür gesorgt, dass wir mit allem bestens versorgt waren.
Die leckerste Hühnersuppe und das beste Steak das ich je gegessen habe.
Immer eine reichliche Portion und alles frisch und auf den Punkt genau.
Ein sehr, sehr gutes Preis,- Leistungsverhältnis !!!
Ich kann das Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen !!!

Nettes, gemütliches Hotel. Für die Lage und die Ausstattung zwar nicht gerade preiswert, aber die Zimmer sind sauber, das Personal freundlich und das Essen ist gut.

Wir waren eine Übernachtung da.
Es war super schön da.
Zimmer gut, Personal sehr freundlich,
Essen und Frühstück super. Auch sehr Kinderfreundlich. Wir werden auf jeden Fall noch einmal dahin fahren.

I travel for work and have stayed in many hotels. This hotel is clean, pleasant, and welcoming. My room was very nice and the restaurant is absolutely wonderful. I ate in the hotel restaurant all week because - with food so good - there was no reason to go elsewhere. The staff is kind and attentive. I am looking forward to my next visit to Papenburg.

Wir waren über Pfingsten 2016 für 2 Nächte im Hotel Engeln und können es nur empfehlen.
Unkomplizierte Abwicklung der Buchung per Telefon.
Sehr nettes, aufmerksames Personal; unser Zimmer war mit allem was man braucht, ausgestattet und sauber (vor allem die Betten und das Bad).
Das Frühstück für € 6,- pro Person bietet wirklich alles; wir haben nichts vermisst.
Das Abendessen im eigenen Restaurant (Scholle und Fischplatte), war nicht ganz günstig, aber sehr lecker und dem Preis damit völlig gerecht.
Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!
