Romantic Retreat by the Waterfront

This one is an Absolute charmer and a Sanctuary of Tranquility and Beauty. Located not too far from the Harborfront or the old Citadel, yet a bubble of quiet boutique luxury. Sleeping to the tunes of the mild waves lashing against the shore is something one cannot describe with words, but need to experience themselves! And waking up to the sound of Chirping birds is even more magical. A slice of Caribbean Hacienda in the Mediterranean

LOCATION: Lovely location right next to the harborfront and close to the CItadel

DINE + DRINK: Excellent Restaurant with a mindblowing waterfront seating outside. Very good breakfast spread and you will never feel like leaving the place , but instead lounge all day in one of the wooden Chairs with a view of the spectacular mountains and waterfront!

ROOM: We stayed in Room #10, so this review is based on that; VIEW: Million dollar Views of the Spectacular waterfront with the Boats, Ships against the mountain Backdrop; SIZE: Very spacious room; AIR-CON: No Aircon but leaving the windows open helped the room cool down with a pleasant breeze; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part to put me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand in shower; TOILETRIES: Excellent SPA Quality Cosmetics by Damana brand!

FACILITIES: No gym or Pool and absolute Island Chill!

SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all our needs with a smile and made us feel pampered and well taken care of. Special Shout out to the Staff at the Breakfast service

HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free high speed Wi-Fi that works well all over the property. Big Plasma TV screen dishing out dozens of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies and a wide variety of entertainment in - BUT ONLY in FRENCH and some in Italian. Almost ZERO English language Channels

Stunning location right on the bay of porto vecchio. The restaurant and sitting area is beautifully set near the waters.There is also a small but nice beach. The bed was large and very comfortable the beddings and towels soft and cozy, the stuff was friendly and helpfull . In all a place to remember , calm and beautiful . a bit pricy but we found it worthwhile, the stuff was friendly and helpfull
It would have nice to have a kettle in the room and some vegetable in breakfast for the intl clientelle.

Loved it .location service and restaurant all good

This place was unusual as I spent half the time not liking it and the other half loving it. I think it was down to the high price of the room for what you got which was average. Useless shower, no drinks, no fridge, no balcony, small beach area, no real lounge area. But the views were lovely staff were great and it had a great breakfast and was a very peaceful and relaxing place.

Great hotel on the harbour with a relaxed room style. First rate breakfast. Excellent position. I would definitely stay here again. Restaurant is excellent as well.

La restauration est gastronomique, super bon assez coûteux pour y manger tt les jours , ils font aussi du japonais que nous
n'avons pas goûté mais il y a de bons avis...
Dans la chambre où on se trouvait, je l'ai trouvé petite et manquait un petit frigo, voilà un reproche !
Le bémol de l'hôtel a une petite plage privée mais ça donne sur le port donc l'eau est huileuse , voilà très bon séjour je le recommande 👍

Un cadre idéal, des chambres de qualité, un restaurant proposant une carte variée et des plats savoureux (sans oublier une très bonne sélection de vins). Le personnel vous prodigue de bons conseils afin de pouvoir découvrir la Corse de la meilleure façon.

Chambres propres et avec une petite terrasse. Les pieds dans l'eau depuis le restaurant. Parfait pour un weekend en amoureux.

Très beau cadre. Dommage que la plage est petite et la mer pas très propre. Les chambres supérieures sont top, les classiques pas mal non plus, mais selon la chambre, bruillantes. 20 minutes à pied pour arriver au port de Porto-Vecchio.

Très bel hôtel,dans un cadre paradisiaque 100% détente. Avec un restaurant bistronomique à fusion asiatique. Des cocktails délicieux notamment le mojito spécial à la framboise. Et pour terminer son repas en beauté, il n'y a rien de tel qu'une tartelette au citron meringuée et sa crème basilic...une tuerie !!
Je conseil vivement.

Très bien situé, en bord de mer, sur la baie de Porto-Vecchio. Chambre agréable, vue mer. Lit confortable, salle de bains complète. Très propre, et calme. Comme partout ailleurs dans le Sud de la Corse c'est un peu cher même hors saison, mais les assiettes sont agréables et copieuses. Très bon accueil par le personnel et la propriétaire.

De loin le meilleur hotel 3* que j'ai pu faire en Corse durant notre séjour. La chambre, la literie, la salle de bain, le personnel, la vue, la proximité du centre, la plagette privée avec ponton, le jardin avec éléments en bois et le petit déjeuner buffet très copieux et de qualité. On a dîné au restaurant un soir et là, encore chapeau, digne d'un restaurant gastronomique avec les douceurs du chef en dessert mélangeant l'ensemble des desserts de la carte, un régal!

J' ai aimé ce lieu, surtout pour son cadre magnifique, à la sortie de la baie de porto vecchio. Prendre une repas et plus encore le petit déjeuner, avec cette vue, est un réel plaisir! De plus, l'endroit est propre à la détente avec des fauteuils disposés çà et là, sur la pelouse, face à la mer. Un bon livre, une boisson fraîche et le bonheur est au rendez vous.

I just had a dinner there but you can also rent a room. This place is amazing, very peaceful, and you can enjoy the beautiful view on the marina. The staff was very nice and the fondant au chocolat was melting in my mouth ;)

Nous avons seulement mangé au restaurant. Super dîner, bin vin. La terrasse vaut le détour

Cet hôtel est un endroit charmant ,Très bien tenu avec un accueil chaleureux et très pro.
Les menus sont délicieux avec des produits frais et des créations originales.
Et bien sûr le sourire et la faconde sympathique de l'inenarable Jean -marc le propriétaire ajoutent encore au plaisir de passer un bon moment dans ce mieux privilégié.

Situé en léger retrait, emplacement au calme avec une superbe vue sur la baie.

Établissement rempli de charme avec son grand jardin de pins, sa a plage, et sa marina dans le golfe de Porto-Vecchio.

La vue époustouflante, Tres bonnes table, le personnel en permanence au petit soin pour vous ...bref une adresse incontournable

Hotel haut de gamme, prestation impeccable. Chambre au style très méditerranéen, bois flotté etc. Vue sur la mer et le port privée de l'hôtel. Restaurant à la hauteur ! Et petit déjeuné extra. Cadre très apaisant. (prix élevé mais en accord avec les 4 étoiles et le standing de l'établissement).

Cadre idyllique. Venir le soir (en bateau cela doit être le top !). Dîner très sympathique et prix raisonnables pour un si bel endroit.

Cet hôtel de charme est situé à quelques pas du port de plaisance de Porto-Vecchio, sur une presqu'île qui permet d'amarrer son bateau quasiment aux pieds de sa chambre. L'établissement a été entièrement rénové pour le plus grand plaisir de ses hôtes avec ses chambres et suites agréables à la décoration soignée. L'accueil est chaleureux et l'espace restaurant-bar-terrasse est remarquable. On apprécie particulièrement le petit déjeuner les pieds dans l'eau ou sur la pelouse ombragée. La Table du Goéland est une incitation à la gourmandise avec la cuisine élégante et raffinée du chef Pascal Vautray dans un cadre adorable.

Une situation géographique très confortable, tout près du port et du centre, cet hôtel accumule les avantages. Il a notamment un petit port pour lui tout seul. Le Goéland attire donc les "marins" (je veux dire les skieurs nautiques).
Le propriétaire a beaucoup réinvesti pour moderniser son hôtel. Du coup (coût) on sent que tout est compté pour rentabiliser et c'est dommage (de s'en apercevoir). Un seul très grand regret : la carte (et son chef) surclassé. La demi-pension n'est donc pas vivement recommandable.
