Fantastic scenery. Good food. Excellent service.

The hotel is in a beautiful location, with mountains, ocean life and more! It's remotely placed, around an hour or so from the city center. Its tranquil and peaceful here. Buy an ice-cream and sit by the docks, or on the beach. Enjoy the "sunset" (at this time of year its midnight sun). I highly recommend going here, both as a hotel or just we a pit stop during a roadtrip

Nice hotel with great rooms. I stayed at a big cabin with a great view to the ocean. The menu was great and the waiters did everything expected to make the evening complete. The nature around is a good enough reason to visit the area, and with this hotel you can complete the great experience.

We Just enjoy the bar service as external visitors of sommaroy, and It was a nice experience. Lovely place and nice personal.

Lovely, beautiful, peaceful place. Great for quiet holidays, in nature, emerged in a magnificent landscape.
The hotel has very good standards. Probably best facility in the area. Was our base for Aurora hunting.

Stunning wiews everywhere you look. Recommend a cold ice bath in the ocean followed by a warm tub bath in the bathhouse. Food is ok.

Awesome sea cabin's and an amazing place to view the northern lights. We were there for three nights and saw a fantastic show put on by the aurora borealis! Managed to capture a poor low quail shot on my phone but my camera got some amazing shots.

Nice landscape view and a warm glass house for aurora viewing. Fish soup at the restaurant is highly recommended!

Very Nice hotel in an Island, connected to the main land by a bridge. Ideal to watch Northern Lights. Nice food, clean & staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

What a fantastic place. The setting is just gorgeous. The views are spectacular. The rooms are very adequate. The cooking is just awesome. What a great time we had here.

We rented a beach cabin. It was fantastic. We also hired the jacuzzi, well worth it. We did not eat at the resort so cannot comment. Sommaroy is a fantastic place!

I cannot imagine a better location for a hotel. They organize wonderful barbecues for large groups of people. The staff was very kind. Recommend it!

Hotellet ligger i naturskjønne omgivelser, helt ut i det vakre havgapet. Gode parkeringsmuligheter, enkelt å finne frem. Moderne lokaler og fortsatt under utbygging. Gode fasiliteter for konferanse og bespisning.

Nice hotel, good food. Worth a visit.

Vom 9. bis zum 13. März verbrachten wir einen wunderschönen Urlaub in Sommaroy. Wir wohnten in einem zauberhaften kleinen Blockhaus ( Cabin 36) direkt am Wasser, welches zum Sommaroy Arctic Hotel gehört. Einen besseren Platz um Polarlichter zu beobachten, können wir uns nicht vorstellen. An drei von vier Abenden hatten wir einen klaren Himmel und konnten dieses Wunder der Natur bestaunen und fotografieren. Entweder vom 50 Meter entferntem Strand oder direkt von unserer Terrasse gelangen uns die tollsten Aufnahmen. Abends haben wir immer im hoteleigenen Restaurant gespeist und fanden alles sehr köstlich. Auch das morgendliche Frühstücksbuffet war ein Traum. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und Kaffee und Tee gab es rund um die Uhr kostenfrei. Vom Flughafen Tromsö sind wir mit dem Mietwagen etwa 50 Minuten auf unsere kleine zauberhafte Insel mit den bunten Holzhäusern gefahren. Als Ausflug hatten wir eine Huskyschlittenfahrt gebucht - auch eine echte Empfehlung! Dieser Kurzurlaub war ein einziger Traum, zumal wir sehr viel Glück mit einem strahlend blauen Himmel, weißen schneebedeckten Bergen und türkisfarbenem Wasser hatten. Nicht nur für Fotografen ein Fest! Danke, liebes Hotelteam für die wunderbare Zeit bei euch! Es hätte nicht schöner sein können.

Trivelig lite hotell. Dog noe slitt. Ligger svært pent til med nydelig natur på alle kanter. Svært hyggelige ansatte

Bra plass, høypris, manglende vask av vinduet. Er det ikke utsikten man betaler ekstra for?

Wir hatten für 10 Tage ein Apartment im Winter gemietet. Das Apartment war sehr sauber (inkl. Küche und Bad) und die Küche war gut ausgestattet. Der Ausblick war zudem fantastisch! Dennoch haben wir zwei Kritikpunkte:
Die Lüftungsklappe der Dunstabzugshaube hat bei stärkerem Wind sehr laut geklappert, trotz Windschutz. Außerdem war die Matratze recht dünn und damit etwas unbequem (für uns aber noch ok). Das Personal im Restaurant und an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Zuppa di pesce idilliaca (Salmone patate carote erba cipollina e...) pesce al vapore in salsa Zafferano così così... panorama sui fiordi Norvegesi oltre ogni aspettativa... un paradiso per coppie...
