Read so many reviews about here before arriving..my thoughts are it's a great place.. To all those who say they have stayed in Hotels all over the world etc etc so have I and lived in some of the best for months at a time..it's pretty simple when you travel, treat people the way you like to be treated and a real smile goes a long way.. if I am back in Caloundra I will be staying here great value for money.

Fantastic staff from check in to check out, any slight problem immediately remedied and with a smile. The guys and girls in the restaurant tremendous, very friendly, very helpful could not do enough for you and the food absolutely sensational, 10 out of 10. Very nice.
Lovely smiling waitress, inviting food, plated beautifully and tasted yum. Quite pricey but the surroundings reflect you are receiving quality.

One star off because when my plate was delivered to my table, the waitress had her thumb squarely in my salad. (Which I did not eat because of it.)
Other than that, lovely.

The resort was very well presented. Staff were friendly and service was excellent. Room was clean and tidy on arrival. Only issue was the bed was a little uncomfortable and there wasnt anything to use in the spa

We booked a two bedroom apartment as part of a Luxury Escapes deal.
The apartment was a very generous size.
The service was good and overall we had a pleasant experience.

We hosted a conference at The Sebel and it was such a fantastic experience! The staff were exceptional in catering to our needs and incredible to work with and really made the whole day easy and enjoyable. We have received amazing feedback from our guests and would like to especially thank the Sebel for the impeccable food provided!

Very nice and clean rooms. The staff is friendly too. The hotel is a bit further away from the Esplanade but it is nice and quiet. Oh and the internet is incredibly fast.

We just organised a group of 48 friends/golfers for a 2 night stay at the Sebel Pelican Waters. The whole management and staff could not have been more helpful from the first time we visited to enquire about the stay through the ultra-smooth check-in process to the last moment when we left the hotel. Everyone was complimentary about the Spa Suites we stayed in and the food for our 2 dinners and 1 lunch was excellent. Special shout-out to Richard, Samantha and Rob.

The hotel decor was modern, open and comfortable.

I'd particularly recommend the whole set-up for a play and stay few days as the golf course is so close (just a few steps) and in good condition.

Overall a great experience.

Nice rooms. The apartments would help if there were a few more utensils etc in the cupboard and a dishwasher would have been helpful. The amenities of the hotel were nice, the pool, day spa, gymn and tennis courts. The bar and grill served lovely food and serving vegetables was good.

Tk you Scoopon for 3 day package at this resort, great variety on continental breakfast, lovely staff, great chef, our swordfish dinner was the best ever. No faults here for us. Very happy.

Stayed here for my nephews wedding. Lovely rooms and great breakfast served. Make sure you ask for a room with a view of the golf course. Very handy to the golf club for lunch or dinner.

The facilities are a 5 star rating with the Pool,Tennis Courts, BBQ area,Restaurant and a lovely Resort room. It's an amazing stay so far with the staff looking after us.

We enjoyed our time at the Sebel hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly. The hotel restaurant quality and price was good. The pool was alright.

Really nice and good service. Good cocktails as well. The espresso martini is awesome. Wished they had a play room for the kids though. But pool is still decent with a good shallow area.

I am a member of the hotel group. This hotel is old, the check in person needs PR terrible. The room is old. Cracks in the walls and ceilings. Stay some were else I will when I return next week. Very disappointed

Facility is excellent. Room was an upgrade and beyond what we needed but we really enjoyed the space and comfort. Reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful at all times. Location is quiet. Would recommend and return again if the opportunity arose.

Usually with a compendium you'd also find a pen and notebook, which would be nice to have.
UPDATE - On departure I mentioned this to the front desk, they assured me that the rooms should have them, and they'd speak to housekeeping.
Also.... it was a bit weird having to walk through the restaurant/bar wet in your swimmers going back to your room from the pool area.... there was a wedding going on, everyone all dressed lovely... and us walking through in our towels etc.... a different entrance would be good....

Perfect getaway spot! We stayed 3 nights and had a terrific mini-break. The staff were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. From the bar & restaurant staff to the front desk and housekeeping staff, everyone had the same attitude of 5 star customer focus. The 2 bedroom rooms were beautifully decorated with large balconies and plenty of room to move. We were travelling with a toddler and the staff were so understanding and helpful, it made our time with them that much more enjoyable. Thanks in particular to Noel and Simone on the front desk, they went above and beyond.
There was only one draw back, and it's pretty minor, the heated pool is only heated to 24° so it's not suitable for winter swimming, a few degrees warmer would have been amazing.

Lovely large apartment but the furnishings were old and grubby. Comfortable large bed. Housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful.

Great place if you're after some peace and quiet. Staff very friendly and helpful, would recommend for a quick getaway.

Great place to stay where the service and staff are very professional, the food is great and the amenities are fabulous also. Loved our stay there- The break was just what the Dr ordered. We are not golfers and still had a great time.

Staff were delighted to help and provide friendly service. Look forward to future re-vamping of facilities to make stay fresher and brighter.

We stayed for a friends wedding, we had a nice room for a great price...the swipe cards for each level from the lifts was excruciatingly painful...especially running things backwards and forwards for the wedding party

Arrived last night. One of the only places around with a truly late check in and despite that the sight says 10:30, after a conversation with Luke on the front desk, there is someone around 24 hours to check people in if needed, it's just that the official front desk stuff go home at 10:30. So that's great. Room 225 (2 double beds) is very nice. The beds are a good (firm/soft) 2 pillows per person. View of the pool. Tiny fridge, tiny safe, nice TV, free wi-fi, friendly staff. I'll add more detail when MN I have been here for a bit. We have a nice view from our balcony.

We stayed overnight for a function and would definitely had loved to stay longer. It's quite a way from the beaches but if you love golf it would be ideal. The room we had was modern and clean.

Amazing location. Nice and quiet. No free WiFi! The "free" breakfast included is only the continental breakfast. No spa and the day spa was out of order. Very good service at the restaurant and service desk.

The place was nice. Very clean bug very spartan. Really empty when I went but it wasn't peak time though. It just seemed so clinical and not welcoming.

Love this place. Very clean and modern. I have stayed here a few times now. cant believe that it is still a 4 star. Have stayed at a 4.5 star at mooloolaba and it was no where near as good as this place.

had an wonderful time staff was so friendly and helpful room service was great meals very good and had a wonderful complimentary continental breakfast each morning of our stay. child friendly also rooms were neat tidy and well sized. love to stay there again

Great deals through scoopon and groopon. Upgrade to the spa room as this includes a kitchenette. Lovely views from the balcony. Breakfast was very good (groopon deal was inclusive). Room spacious and clean. Settee a little grubby. Bed good. Two good TVs in room. A bit of a drive to Caloundra and the beaches. We have stayed there three times. No more as we have moved home to the area.

Rented 4 apartments had 3 cars and there where no undercover car parks available. One of the rooms was described as having a full kitchen over the phone when placing the booking - the room only had a kitchenette. When we asked about this they said the full kitchen was in comparison to the size of the room. This is misleading at best if not false advertising.

We had a 4th floor golf course facing room which was well equipped and spacious. Kitchenette in the room (no oven or dishwasher). In room spa and a balcony overlooking the resort. 2 pools and tennis court but no gym.

This is a very relaxing venue, quiet and worked well as a romantic getaway for 2. There's not much to do in Caloundra but if you like golf and a day spa as we do then this is a great venue.

3% charge on credit card though yikes.

Been there our room was great. Nice view from 4th floor. Breakfast was nice had a smorgasbord yum yum. extra clerk would be an exception but did not worry me at all. The pool was great.
