Lovely hotel, good sized rooms and bathrooms. Very clean and well located.

Stayed here and had an issue when I got to my room, No lights! for some reason the lights in my room would not turn on.
Once I made the reception desk aware they investigated and couldn’t find the issue.
For the inconvenience they upgraded me to a family room that was two bedrooms and on the top level. That’s the sort of service you want when issues arise.
I would totally recommend staying here the room was modern clean and had all I needed, I definitely will be back myself.

A clean, friendly place in a fantastic location. The rooms are larger than usual inner city hotels'. I am a corporate client, so I am not sure what is the going rate, but if there are charging similar to other nearby places, than it's good value.

This is a great hotel. It's in a good location just by Hyde Park (where all the buses pass). The rooms are on the large side, clean, and very comfortable with plenty of usb ports to charge your devices without an adapter. The restaurant is also a good choice as is the a local cafe around the corner. The staff is great.

I had left something in my room after checkout and they found my item quickly and sent it to me all the way in the US for free! This was my first time staying at Vibe and would stay here again.

Good location, stayed in refurbished room which was modern and spacious. My only negative comment is that the showers are terrible. Water pressure is dreadful, shower stall small and awkward.

A decent place to stay in Sydney without spending too much money. Comfy beds and a nice environment. Definitely could use a face lift.

The room was spacious for 4 adults. Tea and coffee provided with mini fridge and safe.

Bathroom: great water pressure and hot water. Supplied with plenty of body wash, shampoo, and conditioner.

Rooftop Gym: dry sauna good for 4 people comfortably, was never crowded. Had 1 exercise bike, 1 elliptical, 1 row machine, set of dumbbells 2kg - 8kg. Filtered jug water dispenser as well. Pool was a good size ranging from 3ft to 5ft deep. Nice outdoor seating area as well.

Connected to a good restaurant open breakfast to dinner.

Everything about this hotel was good. For example; the rooms were decent and well-apportioned, the service was good and prompt (although a bit of a wait when a bus came in). Nothing fancy, and overall I would stay here again.

Decent conference facilities. Projectors, toilet facilities and catering. I was in a smaller room (dozen) but larger rooms were available.

Staff were really nice and accomodating. Room was clean and spaceous.. which i also think is soundproofed, since i wasn't disturbed by the noise from outside the street, considering where the hotel is. Small lifts. But location was very convenient, near train stations, some tourist spots and shops.

Nice enough. Great service. Had some chocolate waiting for me. Room was a little dated but the are renovating some of the floors. Was the most reasonable rate for the city at late notice.

People running round the hall which echos at night. Walls thin and can hear room next to us showering. Annoyed i paid $300 for 2 nights when i had just come off a cruise at double that for 8 nights with outstanding service.
Housekeeping literally just emptied bin and put in extra towels. Made beds even though followed their instructions of they didnt have to. No hoovering of room.

I only stayed for 1 night, the check-in and out went smoothly with the hotel holding my bags for me on both occasions. The room was a queen room and was quiet spacious with a sofa, fridge and standard hotel room essentials. The bathroom was as well spacious with a bath and shower, ask clean and looked nice. The only other facility I used was the gym on the top floor, it was a little small, with 3 cardio pieces of equipment and some dumbbells (max weight 8kg).

Location is good. Not so far or not so close to main street. Reception depends. Some staffs are very nice but few are not. I met a Korean staff serving breakfast. Don't know who's Korean at reception. Many asian staffs. Room cleaned everyday. Towels and bedings were enough and clean. Room itself was not so shiny like shown on the photos but clean enough if your expectation is not so high.

Lovely hotel, large room, very comfortable bed, loads of wardrobe space, very clean wuth lovely staff. We didn't use the restaurant so, can't comment. The location is great for sightseeing, very central for all areas.

Good quality hotel in CBD location. Definitely worth upgrading to the better room types as they are huge! Comfortable rooms, well appointed although bathrooms are quite dated. Excellent water pressure. Good Cafe/bar downstairs when it's open. Affordable rates for southern end of town.

Hotel is well located - walkable distance to central, capitol theatre, etc. Room was spacious, but didn't seem well thought out - the space seems a little awkward. Bed was reasonably comfortable. Enjoyed the bath tub. Was able to drop off and store my luggage there when I went to Blue Mountains for a night.

Hotel reception will gladly assist to make bookings for transfer to the airport 1 day in advance. They took down the details (including the time) when I asked in the morning before we went out - there was no receipt or ticket issued. Decided to confirm my booking when I returned at night, paid by cash and got 2 tickets (no time written). I don't know how our 8am booking got mistakened to be 7am though - got a rude shock when the hotel dialed our room at 6.50am and told us that our shuttle was waiting! When I clarified that we had always requested for 8am shuttle, the staff actually asked us to 'just come down'... like seriously? Upon my insistence, the staff then went to check and called me back to say that our shuttle will be at 8am. Odd.

Other than the airport shuttle, our stay was alright. Had expected slightly better for the price paid though.

Booked a family room and it was so much bigger than expected. Loads of space though the shower was small in comparison. Great location for any city outing.

first time I stayed with vibe was horrific. But spoke to Ryan and he was a nice man and willing to do anything to help me a top bloke and I seriously recommend this place now ! sweet salty leather furniture with a hint of rich vanish this beautiful man helped me in more ways than i could possibly fathom. AMAZING

I write this review today regarding one if the staff at vibe hotel today Kate Mcphee , this lady not only took care of all our needs when we arrived she went above and beyond by sending us fresh flowers to our room and a specially written card she was warm in greeting us and would highly recommend anyone staying at this hotel to speak directly to her again 5 star service will definitely come back with the family because of this lady's professional and warm customer service

The hotel has quite a nice location. We were able to walk from our hotel to Chinatown, to Darling Harbour, to Hyde Park, to the Central Station and to Town Hall Station. It is almost equal distance from Central Station and Town Hall Station. As Chinatown is nearby, lots of nice food options. There are also many pubs and bars around. The hotel itself is all right. Very nice and helpful staff that helped us booked tours. The hotel room we got was quite large and comfortable. We were on the 3rd floor so not really any kind of views. Breakfast served was all right, just the basic toast, some danishes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, breakfast cereals, yoghurt etc.

Comfortable non fussy just what you need after a long trip. Staff are friendly and cater to your needs and of course your only a few minutes away from the Heart of Sydney. Love the extras like the Bar & Conference rooms. For a Global Traveller like Me - I Highly recommend especially for Business Travelers.

Convenient location. Close to transit, food and shopping. Decent size room and decor. Pretty noise proof for the location. Only negative was no laundry. Guest can use the laundry in the Travelodge next door. not the best option if you are tired from exploring all day. Over all not bad for location.

I have given Vibe Hotel on Goulburn Street five stars because it is a great, no-frills hotel experience. The location is very convenient; the accommodation clean and inviting and I like the décor too. The reception staff are friendly as well. It is a little expensive but most hotels are these days. I quite liked it.

Hotel is a slightly run down but comfortable. If you can try to book stay without breakfast, you will pay premium for toast and scrambled eggs. The staff is very polite and we felt welcome except Daniel in restaurant. He had wrong attitude every morning, he was rude to guests and if asked for help he was rolling eyes almost every time. So try to stay there only if you can't find something better.

Very basic for a so called 4 star hotel. Very noisy and the bath tub i had to scramble into to shower, the bottom of the bath tub was soft was squelchy with underneath water damage. I won't be staying there again.

Rooms are okay, but beds are hard as. I was hosting a Hen's night with 5 rooms set to be ready at 2 pm for check in, only one was ready, the staff said that they would call when ready, they never did and they just gave the room keys to girls without my knowledge - what if they had not been with my party? Half the room keys didn't work for more than 6 hours. Not a place I would go back to as they made managing an event more stressful than it should have been. As we were late getting the rooms sorted out, the entire group was late for the next event. Not great.

Good hotel with good bedroom size, close to all amenities n good restaurants. Just the internet speed pretty slow n breakfast can have more flavor.

Great experience. Free upgrade to the executive suite. Very helpful staff, tidy and clean rooms and a big tick for their approaches to sustainability (recycling bins, laundry options, etc.).

Fairly nice hotel, friendly staff. We were a bit thrown off that the rooms with double beds just have two singles pushed together, but it's actually pretty comfortable.

Very central for touring the city, two blocks from the subway and about a 5min walk to Hyde park.

Stayed in a queen room which was larger than expected and well maintained. Reasonably quiet but the climate control fan rattled at anything higher than low. Working desk space included with your standard kettle, mini bar, iron, safe, fridge. Room also included a bathtub. Breakfast buffet was great at $25 a head purchased there. I'd stay again.

TRUSTWORTHY STAFF!
When my cousins and I went to visit we had an amazing stay and the room was very nice. I accidentally left my phone in the hotel room and when I went back our room was already cleaned but the cleaning woman, Diana, was sure to keep it safe and return it to me. I was also pleased with the staff who all put an effort into helping me find my phone immediately.

Great city location but don't drive. Parking is difficult. Good service and ammenities, great food good snacks. The basic essentials. Would love to go there again :)

Great sized room. Bed moved on its wheels though :( everything was relatively clean. Loved the showerhead! Check in/out was simple and efficient. Gym isn't bad considering the size of the building.

Its awful, its fine for a cheap stay. But not for a business trip, internet is awful, they charge you for anything over 100mb and even then it is intermittent. Sheets are blood stained and decor is horrendous, who paints hotel walls dark green? Staff at the desk are a little slow if not robotic in their responses. Don't expect much and you will be grand!

pretty decent hotel at a good price. located write centrally within close proximity to most major areas and landmarks within city. no major disappointment if expectations are reasonable. would use again if required.
