Very well located as well as good price per stay including breakfast. Only negative points on the water temperature, not enough hot to have a proper and comfortable shower.

Respectable hotel with history in a fantastically central location for city activities. We stayed here for a few nights over New Year's 2020, and enjoyed the rooms & breakfasts.

Great location with access to the main sites in Vienna. The breakfast is also really good. My main issue is that there is no airconditioning in the room. There is a fan, but in the midst of the summer (we were here in August), the rooms were steamy. This was a problem for us.

My stay at the Wandl Hotel was fantastic. The rooms are quaint and charming. But most importantly clean. The staff if very friendly and helpful. Everything they recommended I try or do in the city was spot on. The complimentary breakfast is delicious. I'm not much of a breakfast eater but I found myself there every morning. Most impressive is the location. A street away from the best shopping Vienna has to offer and only a minute walk to the heart of the city. I would definitely be back.

Awesome place! Best hotel you can stay at Vienna. It is clean, the breakfast is fantastic and people here are friendly. The location is perfect. It is over 150 years old so if you like historical places, this hotel is for you. The cups are Villeroy Boch and the forks and knives are solingen. They considered every detail! I am glad I had this experience:)

Wonderful, smaller charming hotel nestled behind the St. PetersKirch (church) has .ca welcoming staff, beautiful Viennese decor that is warm and inviting. Our room was compact but comfortable with one v of the few tubs that the hotel has to offer. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast (included in our rate) was expansive, many choices and even Champagne (New Years holidays). Though there was no iron in room, the hotel offered us a place to use theirs. Location is great, quieter and yet a short walk to U bahn at Stepensdom platz. Vienna is amazing at New Years and the Wandl was a perfect place to stay.

An exceptional historic hotel in the "Altstadt" area of Vienna. Excellent breakfast with many choices. Very festive as we were there at New Years our room was compact but had good closets, luggage rack, desk and the bathroom had a tub, there are few tubs offered at the hotel but very nice to have, also there was my high priority item, a magnifying mirror. Staff was very helpful. There isn't an iron and board for use in the room, but they'll set you up to use one if needed. The location was very good, short walk to Stephen'sdom where there is U ban service. Vienna is wonderful and this hotel was a great match.

Spacious room, comfy bed, lovely staff, decent free breakfast, great location, and affordable! I want to give 4.5 stars but can't. Only issue is that my room didn't appear to have air conditioning. Wasn't too hot so we were okay, but would just call ahead to confirm a/c or not. Would stay again!

Absolut geniale Lage, niedrige Zimmerpreise. Dafür muss man aber auch auf einiges verzichten können. Kein WLAN auf den Zimmern. Für eine Gebühr von €5/Tag bekommt man an der Rezeption einen Router, den man dann auf dem Zimmer mit der Buchse und seinem Rechner verbinden muss (etwas hinterweltlich). Das Zimmer nach innen (geht Richtung kleinem Innenhof, der überdacht ist - also keine Frischluft wenn man das Fenster öffnet) ist absolut schlecht. Der kleine Flatscreen an der Wand ist das einzige "Fenster" nach aussen. Keine Minibar auf dem Zimmer. Keine Informationen über das Hotel (Internet, Frühstück etc.) auf dem Zimmer. Für die tolle Lage und den guten Preis (€110/Nacht im Januar) muss man so einiges entbehren.
