This spot was amazing for me. Had this room for the durmcode event which was located around the hotel! The rooms were really nice but idk if I would stay here if your planning to go to the red light. Because it’s far from it. Like a 10 minute boat ride

A free 12-13 minute free ferry ride from Central station. Hotel is trendy with a restaurant and bar. Free WiFi. Coffee and tea. Comfortable rooms and good views. Would've liked block out shades in the room for late sleeping, but it's fine. Has everything you'd expect from a Hilton

Good hotel. Great staff. View was beautiful, although I expected more. But that's just me. What you can expect: a nice view of the city, the promised view of the river is a little less of a view than it is a glimpse. What I disliked: the curtains did not black out the sunlight at all. So after a late night, hoping to sleep in we ended up waking up way to early. Hope they can fix this!

The room is nice and the service is excellent. The location while quite close to the city center, is not too great as around the hotel, the area looks like an industrial part of the city. Also it requires to take a ship every time going to the city center. That's why it's 4 stars and not 5.

The hotel is located nicely near the ferry. Which eases the transportation.
The only down side is that the room service is weak .

Had a good stay here. Friendly staff, delicious breakfast, modern and clean rooms. Rooms are slightly smaller than what I'm used from comparable hotels just outside of Amsterdam, but after moving a chair and the night stand, I could even get some workout done. When you're staying here, make sure to check out the surrounding (NDSM Wharf). Great area with lots of nice restaurants.

Lovely hotel and staff. Breakfast good but evening meal quality was not as good as expected. It wasn't bad but just hoped it would match the rest of the offering.

I booked here because the location looked great, which it is! I booked a water view room and I love it.

However the room was very unclean. I put on a robe and it had makeup and hair all over it, how do you not notice that. So gross.
The windows are smudged with greasy handprints, someone who stayed here prior even wrote 'Not clean' in the greasy marks, who knows how long its been like that.
Coffee area had not been cleaned, used coffee pods inside the machine and splatters everywhere.

SUPER small rooms, strange bathrooms specifically the showers which spray water all over the whole bathroom floor. Expected more from a Hilton Hotel, pretty strange/awkward design layout of room.
Very loud, there is no sound proofing whatsoever, I can even hear the people in the next room turn the light switch. When people walk down the hall and talk, it sounds like they are in my room.

Take note they require €100 deposit on each room on arrival.

Very cool area, just a shuttle away from the train station. Super friendly staff willing to help and ensure you enjoy your stay. It was great sleeping here on kings day. Recommended.

Very nice hotel, our room was very nice. We didn't like the location because you have to take a ferry or a very expensive taxi ride.

A great property with the quality and service that Hilton is known for. It has a great location and atmosphere.The food at the hotel restauraunt was excellent. The gym is small and could be improved, but overall I would definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful and comfortable rooms to rest. The staff was extremely helpful, and even helped us order food for a late night craving. The street art around the area is breathtaking and definitely picture worthy. Would definitely stay here again.

Recently stated here and what a pleasurable stay it was. The moment we arrived we were greeted with a warm chocolate cookie the room was lovely nice romantic setting for Valentine's Day. The hotel has its own bike rental which is handy even though there is a bike rental shop a stones throw away which is fairly cheaper. The room had a lovely view across the IJ river and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly I did pay €51 euros for two whiskies at the bar which I thought was a bit much . Overall a very pleasant stay. Thanks Hilton for your hospitality A++++++++++++++++

Nice hotel. Beautiful rooms and friendly staff. Received a perfect check-in from Paul and was very satisfied with the amazing room upgrade and presents as of my gold member status! The location of the hotel was not very handy for me this time, but the view and surroundings of the wharf are great.

Great place to stay. Clean rooms, modern interior design, fast internet, ok choice for breakfast, dinner can end up pricey. Ended up being cheapest 4 star hotel in Amsterdam for me. Excellent customer service. Free bottle of wine in the room. Would stay again.

This hotel is very nice. Amazing Architecture with a beautiful view in the morning (when weather permitting).
Very nice staff. Easy to get to the central station with the advantage of the quiet and an area (NDSM) to discover.

Excellent service from the staff. Very thoughtful and helpful staff pretty much made our holiday.

The rooms were very nicely decorated and furnished, kept clean and coffee brilliant, toped up and the minibar had fresh water every day.

The views are stunning and we've left very happy, refreshed and fans of Hilton hotels. I'll be looking forward to our next Hilton experience.

Great location, quiet area, but free ferry to the centre of Amsterdam, and convenient access by road. Hotel is new and looks good. Our room (4th floor, Queen size) had a great view, but was small and badly lit. Some of the finish wasn't great... Bubbled wallpaper, wonky sink. The 3 light switches all had blue lights in them, which lit up the room when the lights were off! Beds were OK, but not super comfortable for a new hotel.

Contemporary styled tooms, clean, up to date, but small. Very good breakfast choices in their restaurant. Their bar is good for late night drinks. Reasonably priced.

Great place to stay. Lovely size for two! Big shower and bathroom and the bed is super soft. You need to take the ferry but it’s easy and super convenient to use! The staff goes above and beyond!

This is a lovely hotel located in the NDSM area of the city. Within easy reach using the free ferry service it's around 15 minutes from Amsterdam central station. The area isn't the best looking but has some lovely restaurants nearby. If possible book a corner room, they are the most spacious and can offer a great view over to the city.

Nice modern hotel with stunning views. Room was small but sufficient. Checkout was exceptionally slow and was not impressed with the tone of voice from the girl behind the desk. Otherwise, this is a nice hotel to book when visiting Amsterdam.

Great hotel and the staff are really friendly. Only downside is the last ferry from central station to ndsm wharf is at 11.45pm Sunday to Thursday so if you're up for late nights you might be better staying more centrally. Was lovely and clean and the warm cookie on arrival was a lovely touch

Greeted by a friendly, professional staff who acknowledged my Hilton membership. Although the room was smaller than most, it was very clean and very modern. I also received a friendly note thanking me for my membership and stay along with a welcoming snack box. I also thought the free ferry 2 minutes from the hotel was super convenient to get in and out of the city. I would definitely stay here again!

Excellent hotel. Great value for money. Superb customer service and friendly staff. Breakfast at this hotel was one of the best (if not the best) of all the hotels on our one month tour of Europe. Modern and comfortable room. The warm chocolate cookies and coffee on arrival was certainly heart-warming. Was easy to take the free ferry to Centraal Station. Jaya at Double Tree Inn, you were wonderful!!

Small rooms - for the price, I was expecting something bigger. Weird location, and ferry only runs every 30 min. Staff was helpful to have us get a cab to go to Schipol. If I could choose, I would have stayed in the Amsterdam downtown area.

For 300 eur a night i was expecting much better service. 1. Room was very small 2. Location on the outskirts of AMS. 3. Restaurant service only very basic meals and it takes ages to get anything from them (1 hr and 10 mins waiting time for a burger when you are the only person in the restaurant)

Nice, new hotel. Kind of a weird location, but taking the ferry to central station was easy and free. The dining area​ and bar was very cool and the food was tasty. The staff was very hospitable. The rooms were extremely small, but had all amenities needed.

Stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed it. It's across the water from the heart of downtown, but actually a great location. Quick, FREE, ferry ride from Amsterdam Centraal Station. Located in a former industrial area that is being renovated with all sorts of food, music and arts projects. Rooms were comfortable. Especially the beds, same as I am used to stateside. Room had floor to ceiling glass window that had an awesome view over the harbor.

I would love to have given the DoubleTree a 5 star rating. It's in a great area, and the free 15 minute ferry ride to Amsterdam Central is not an inconvenience at all, it's fun. The semi- industrial/working vibe of the area is novel. It works very well. My room on the 8th floor had a great view, and was modern and fairly spacious. The bathroom was sparking - looked newly renovated. Big-screen Sony TV and pod coffee machine were nice touches. The bed was very comfortable. I really enjoyed being able to open the big doors/windows to let fresh air in. The staff were extremely efficient, friendly and helpful. Great breakfast in a very nice restaurant. Really enjoyed the hot choc-chip cookie on arrival!

But there were some downsides... there were no cupboards or storage space at all. You literally could not unpack any clothes and instead had to live out of your suitcase. Another problem is that the lights are controlled by digital panels which have very bright blue backlights that cannot be switched off. So at night, the whole room was bathed in a blue glow.

But the worst thing, which almost made me give the hotel a 1 star review is that the walls seem to be paper-thin. You can hear EVERYTHING from both rooms on both sides. It's not completely the hotels fault, but on the left I had a couple who talked loudly late into the night. Their phone rang every few minutes, and you could here the tone that their cellphone made each time they received a message, which was half the night. The walls are that thin. On the right, it sounded as though a family with many small children checked in. They ran up and down the passages, doors opening and closing the whole time, jumped, banged on the walls, screamed, shouted, cried, and their parents did not do or say a thing. Their parents only seemed capable of talking extremely loudly - voices raised the whole time. With such thin walls, this made it unbearable. It was impossible to sleep and I found myself exhausted by morning. Perhaps this would have been less of a problem if the walls between rooms were thicker or properly insulated from noise.

When traveling for business, it's especially important to be able to actually sleep at night. This was impossible. If you can sleep through anything, this probably won't be a problem, in which case I really recommend the hotel. But if you are a fairly light sleeper, you will not enjoy this hotel at all. For this reason I did not really enjoy my stay. In fact I could not wait to leave the DoubleTree, and will never stay again.

I have stayed here twice with very different results. The first stay was great--very friendly and helpful staff welcomed me and thanked me for my Hilton loyalty, nice room, and was happy with everything. The second time, I got a tiny room with only a tiny window after check-in with a totally disinterested agent. The breakfast here in the morning is OK, with an emphasis on local over mass selection.

It's a good hotel, but you have to take a (free) ferry to get to the city. They were very nice to us, the room looked good, was clean and comfortable. Also, the breakfast was not bad. Really, the only downside is the location.

Nice hotel. The fact that its on the other side of city center makes it very inconvenient. The ferry ride is very slow, about a 20 minute ride. Also the room is very dark, very dimly lit. You need your key card for power. You cannot leave things to charge while away as you need your key card to keep power on. Beautiful hotel but the issues I stated above are why I gave a 3 star rating.

Nice hotel and good recepetion people but it missing a lot of charm to this hotel. It looks like any other big branded hotels. NDSM is an awesome neighbourhood and easily to access for free with the ferry from the Centraal Station.

Beautiful hotel, very nicely decorated rooms with great views, especially from the corner suites which look all over the IJ and Amsterdam-Noord.

Nice and new hotel. However the area is still rather new, there's limited restaurant and shops around. The room is clean and layout of the room is comfortable.

Der Standort des Hotels in Nord Amsterdam an der anderen Seite des IJ ist genial, bereits die Fahrt mit der Fähre ist ein Erlebnis, die Aussicht aus dem Zimmer traumhaft!

A free ferry to Amsterdam Centraal station is a 2-minute walk away. On the weekends, crowds gather around the area as either an event or gathering is present.

Highly recommended for all; singles, couples, families, and groups.

It was a wonderful experience. The river view from 6th floor is amazing. The glass wall(that's why it is boutique?) is making the room very special. Everything was new and clean. It worth's the money we paid. The city center is 10 minutes away by free of charge! ferry! :-)

Отличный отель! Дружелюбный, вежливый и воспитанный персонал- все показали и рассказали. Номера отличные, минимум одна стена отсутствует, а в нашем угловом номере две стены были полностью из стекла, всключая и уборную. И я вам скажу- это особый кайф сидеть на горшке или принимать душ и обозревать панораму Амстердама! Чай/кофе в номерах. В нескольких метрах от отеля бесплатная (!) паромная переправа, которая работает практически круглосуточно и везет всех на Центральный вокзал. Очень удобно! Рекомендую!
