Poor management of the basketball court, zero towels at the pool, a housekeeper trying to clean our room at 8:45am, and terrible internet connectivity to top it all off. Not worth the cost in any way.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the hotel. The room was clean and quiet and the staff were helpful and pleasant.

The fitness centre was also very well equipped.

Clean tidy room. We were relocated due to our other hotel being out of hydro. The room stated it slept 5 a king bed and pullout couch. The pull out couch was in terrible shape and unsleep able. My parents and I had to sleep in the king bed and it was a tight squeeze. We reported it to the front desk and the service person was a little gruff and wasn't after much discussion did he concede to look into our complaint. They did give us a $25 gift card to Milestones.

Very clean rooms and pleasant staff. The walls are extremely thin however. It's not very pleasant to be woken up by your neighbors and hear them peeing....

Not too bad - only a few chain restaurants nearby (I don't like eating at chain restaurants), free breakfast is not the best. Rooms are ok, staff are friendly.

As a business traveler I usually stay with the Hilton group of hotels. Although the Homewood is comfortable and clean. The premium and regular Internet is aweful. Keeps cutting out and when using VPN it is a pain. Front desk simply said to reboot. Not impressed.

Overall, it was a good experience. The breakfast was good. Room is clean. The arrangement of room could be better.

The king bed was very comfortable. Clean room, clean washroom, close to a Starbucks and Safe way. The staff was friendly and extended our checkout time.

Rooms were clean and tidy. Staff was courteous. The hotel did not have an inhouse restaurant but their complementary full breakfast was pretty good..

Great hotel and apparently will get renovations to make nicer. Breakfast is good and the suites are clean and well maintained

Stayed with pets and it was really nice, the rooms have a kitchen and have tools so staying here was great. The service and people where helpful whenever needed help.

Spacious rooms with full kitchenette. Great for longer stays. Hotels offer complimentary breakfast and dinners on weeknights. Hotel is clean but could use a little updating as it is starting to show wear.

Front desk PM and overnight staff amazing. Super accommodating and friendly. They went above and beyond and made us feel welcome and comfortable. Anything I needed they had an answer for. When we had takeout problems from a third party, they made it better. Answered all questions.
We had an amazing time on our trip to sudbury.

Great staff nice location. Free breakfast and reception in the evening is nice but can be hit or miss it's sometimes terrible food. Overall nice option with suites and a pool for the kids.

Place was great. Room perfect. Breakfast was disappointing. Menu was good but the quality of the food was poor. Despite being busy, food tasted like it had sat a very long time.

This is my second stay at the Homewood Suites at Sudbury. I love the rooms and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, however the WiFi is the worst I've ever experienced at a hotel. I travel on business and I'm not sure how others get any work done here. After the first hour, I've given up and use my data. The free continental breakfast consisted of what seemed to be re-cooked tater tots, the standard cereals, oatmeal, sausage and eggs. After that day, we went to the next door breakfast restaurant. On the plus side, the gym was more comprehensive than most hotel gyms, they serve free dinner (which I didn't try) and the staff are very helpful.

We were very impressed with the king suite we booked .. very comfortable and a great layout. Staff was always willing to help and friendly. Breakfast was great with a good variety. Would have given a 4.5 star if possible just because the pool could have used a vacuuming ... will stay there again.

Great big rooms with a seperate kitchen. The breakfast has everything you would expect and the night snacks are good.

Room was comfortable and good sized for the family. Location was convenient to the highway and science north which door activity to break up or trip. I found the service a bit lacking, highlighted by a breakfast staff who yelled at another gurst for asking a question. The breakfast was good but slow to replenish dishes etc.

Made a mistaken booking through Airmiles, so never ended up staying the night. Staff was great though for what little interaction we had. Pet friendly, but a $50 one time fee!!

We received a free upgrade when we arrived at the hotel. Must have not been available or double booked. It was great just being told we were upgraded and head up to our room. The hallways had an odour, I couldn't place my finger on the smell but the our room was clean, spacious, and had very comfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom was very clean which matter to me staying at a hotel. Initially I booked this place thinking it had a hot tub as well as a pool. Pool was great for a short swim but no hot tub. It does have a decent gym and a half-court basketball area which was nice. Staff was friendly and courteous, breakfast was alright and complimentary for our stay. I am not sure if all rooms have it included.

I've stayed at this hotel a few times the last 4 years. Never disappointed with the experience. Plenty of parking, hot breakfast, well equipped suites, and proximity to plenty of restaurants and shops. Plus this is one of the closest hotels coming in from Toronto.

Cozy place and nice staff. Had the pool all to myself. The pool though could look at upgrading some of its equipment though.. some of the items there wouldn't serve much purpose like their spinal board (one velcro strap and no head straps really won't do much (I'm a lifeguard).

The price might scare you buy with the extras you get it works out to a great value. Love the choices for breakfast and having dinner available was nice.

Clean place. Staff could use some work . Front desk staff said no one bedroom suites available but there was. Also the breakfast lady looked very cranky. The breakfast itself was good And rooms clean and comfortable.

Only been here a day, and on a weekend so I have yet to try either the breakfast or the entrees but they sound delicious. Everyone seems to be friendly and front desk can provide details about the town if you're new here. Suites are nice and everything seems quite clean. The kitchen is great too. Each room has a heater/AC which adds a nice but of comfort.

Stayed here with my kids over Christmas break. We specifically booked this hotel because of the pool. The dinner and breakfast were a bonus and were pretty great. The pool however was like an ice pit. We are pretty regular swimmers and are not super picky about temperature. None of us could swim which was a huge disappointment. Won't stay again if with the kids solely because of the pool.

Very nice spacious rooms and welcoming staff. We were able to use their common rooms for gatherings with other families. The kids loved the basketball court and pool.

Room was really nice. Spacious and had microwave fridge etc. Bathroom was nice. Food was decent at breakfast. Nice staff :)

Awesome hotel. Superb, helpful polite staff. An absolute pleasure staying here, and this is coming from someone with over a month experience in this hotel (working in Sudbury). The rooms are more like small bachelor apartments than simple hotel rooms, kitchen contains a full size fridge/freezer, small cooktop and dishwasher. Dishes, cutlery and some basic pots and pans provided. Breakfast is ample and the "welcome home" meal (Monday - Thursday) is an incredible bonus (and money saver).

I was at the hotel to visit some family that were staying in a room for the weekend. The room was very high end, almost more a small apartment or condo than a hotel room, and it was very clean and well furnished. If I had to stay in a Sudbury hotel this would be my first choice!

Best suite hotel in the city. Suites are large, well designed, and beautiful. A comfortable bed, fast internet, nothing to complain about. Free breakfast is better than your average business hotel - better bacon (back bacon!), real eggs, fruit salad... just all around better. 8/10

The internet speed is so slow it took about 6 minutes to load the page required to write this review. Hilton chain hotels are my first choice when travelling and I've stayed in more Hampton Inns, Double Trees, Embassy Suites or Homewoods than I care to admit. But this is by far the slowest internet speed I've ever experienced at any hotel. ANYWHERE.

Email is a struggle but possible (most attachments will open/download within several attempts), skype, webex or other video/screen sharing applications are impossible. It's completely unacceptable for a business hotel. After speaking with the friendly staff at the front desk, it's apparent they are aware of the problem and have brought it to the attention of the owner as they frequently receive complaints when the hotel is near capacity.

Extremely disappointing, business travellers best find a different hotel.
