Hotel is situation right in the city square. Was not lucky enough to stay here but reviews sound great & the architecture of this medieval building was worthy of a picture! 🇩🇪🖤❤️💛

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel zum Ritter. It was cool to see the hotel on postcards and to see people stopping to take pictures, since it is a very historic structure! The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable and clean. The only downside was there was no air conditioning in our room; thankfully it was on the cooler side for July. Overall, a great experience and we would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is beautiful inside and out. It is centrally located in the historic area which made it perfect for our stay. The staff was very nice and the morning breakfast buffet was great. Our room was very comfortable.

Very historic and beautiful, it was a pleasure to stay there. GREAT location in the old city. Food is outstanding...No parking at the hotel but you can park a few minutes away for 8 euro a day. We'll worth the extra rates. The exterior is being touched up just now.

Truly Special, the rooms are very comfortable and more spacious than most. Many little details to make your stay special. A little more expensive than most, but we'll worth it. If you like historic places, you will love the Zum Ritter. The location is great, right in the heart of old Heidelberg. Parking is a few blocks away and 8 euro day. Like all old buildings, there are stairs. The staff is helpful and courteous. I will definitely recommend Zum Ritter.

Excellent location, and wonderfully historic exterior. Our room was small but comfortable, with excellent linens and bedding. The windows were small, and offered limited views, but on the backside of the hotel, things were mostly quiet. Location afforded great access to Christmas markets. Restaurant and bar we're nice, but expensive, especially given the options outside very nearby.

This hotel has a stunning mannerist facade with the history to match. It's been a hotel since the 18th century, but was originally built 450 years ago as the home of a wealthy cloth merchant. It provides comfortable accommodations for travelers with a restaurant on the ground floor. The staff is first class as well.

Only had a chance to stop for light drinks and a rest, but it's surprising what you can tell from that. The service was excellent and the environment exactly what would be expected from such and old building. We were all very impressed and the kids have demanded a stay there next year.

The history & renaissance architecture combined with the elegant, modern upgrades made our stay magical. The Hotel Zum Ritter is in the best location in town, convenient to all Heidelberg's attraction. The hotel staff went out of their way to help us find last minute transportation to the Frankfurt airport, and was very knowledgeable and helpful with our numerous questions about the town.

Neat place, large rooms, pretty quiet when the windows are closed. The church and market place are noisy during the day.

Great central location in an historical building. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was pretty and comfortable, but quite sparsely decorated. Would recommend going elsewhere for breakfast as you can find much better value for money.

Great location right across from the church, in one of the most historic buildings in the historic old city. Rooms are nice, decent size and comfy beds. Our top floor room had an awesome view and plenty of space, but note that it did not have A/C which could be a problem in the hotter months.
