Love this hotel for business. Great location that everybody knows which makes it easy for meetings or after work cocktails. Excellent business lounge with awesome views, tasty snacks and flowing booze. Rooms are always immaculately kept and comfortable.

My favorite is the sidewalk bar on the plaza level. Grab a stool, order up the perfect Bombay GnT and watch the world go by.

Has a great reputation for a reason: rooms are fantastic, service is excellent and the breakfast offering in the main restaurant is great.

I like the unique geometry of the main tower that gives each room some great views around Singapore. Rooms are large and recently renovated, furnishings are nicest ones that I’ve stayed in.

Gym is a little small and it gets crowded very quickly as the room is long and narrow.

Club lounge has a great selection of food and drinks, great service and nice views that cover a decent potion of the skyline.

What a very modern, clean, and welcoming hotel! The location is perfect and the breakfast buffet is great. The lobby is luxurious. We came around Christmas time so there was a giant Christmas tree on display. The fitness centre is well equipped with machines. There is even a basketball court! 5 stars.

The hotel is super busy. So don't expect bellboy service all the time. When I was there no one was there to help me with my luggage. But i can understand. Once I'm in, i asked their friendly staff where is the restaurant. He politely directly me to the restaurant. Nice ambience and very classy venue. When I'm leaving all the staff were friendly and did say goodbye to me. Overall A very pleasant visit.

The service was spot-on. Very attentive and alert servers at the Marriott Tang buffet. The food served at the buffet was hot and fresh. The environment had a natural feeling due to the small pond just outside the seating area of the buffet. I was pleased with my experience at the Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel.

Had buffet lunch at Marriott cafe on a weekday. The spread was international cuisine. Their fresh seafood spread was good, especially the prawns were succulent and oysters were sweet and briny. Roast pork was crispy and roast chicken was good too. Give the date pudding and chocolate mousse a try. They could be a little more generous with the cheese though. Brie was out 30min into the buffet.

Very beautiful place. Friendly staff. My wife booked a room here for our wedding night. Upon knowing that, they immediately offered to upgrade our normal room to an executive room. We are really grateful for that, it made our stay all the more enjoyable!

Cannot find fault with this beautiful place. Staff friendly and efficient. Motel rooms large with everything you want. Extra large bathroomss - again with everything you need. The open pool area is just stunning and inviting as is the dining area adjacent. If you take advantage of the Executive Lounge you won't be disappointed. It is the best we have experienced. We have a king room on the 26th floor. Bed super comfy. Extensive windows provide outstanding views. Location is great- right on Orchard Road. Loving it here.

Went there for a lunch event and the service provided was great. The servers were very attentive and was responsive to all the tables. The hotel looks grand, would definitely want to stay here one day.

Went for a wedding dinner. Place looks grand and the service by the waiters were good. The banquet lunch was delicious but the portion is a little small. Did not stay over overnight but good experience.

The other room, which is just Fantastic, from the cocktail menu to the very talented and knowledgeable bartenders, to the floor staff. I went twice so far, and loving it every time a bit more. One of the gem bars of Singapore.

Location of hotel is easily accessible by the MRT, shelter walkway means no worries of heavy downpour. Service level of staffs and banquet coordinators are generally good as well as their suite rooms are clean and spacious. However, quality of buffet in terms of spread and taste can be improved.

Fantastic value for money buffet at Marriot cafe. We paid 80++ for 2 pax for the lunch buffet. Where else can you get lobsters for lunch at such good prices. The spread was decent but quality of food was not compromised. Overall it is one of the better buffets in Singapore that I have went to.

Staff at the pool bar is very attentive and accomodating. My set meal I had choose fruit platter for dessert and had requested no to certain fruits which are on their standard platter and they changed it completely for me.

I went to the other room bar after dinner with my colleagues. I wasn't able to find an entrance till I asked. Very interesting concept and nice place for having variety of whiskies and cocktails.

Situated in the heart of orchard road. Shopping, food, entertainment are all a stone's throw away. Hotel and function rooms are great. Only issue was that the lifts are very slow during the peak hours. Be sure to check out the other room from an interesting take of a bar in the wall (though prices are steep)

I was there for a company event held at Level 3. Apart from the congested traffic on the way there, the location is easy to find. The lift lobby is in immaculate condition and the reception was very beautiful. The ballroom fit about 400 people easily with good sound system. How I wish I am able to stay there.

I’ve been a Club Marriott member for 2 years now. Overall, I’m pretty impressed with the standard of service and room. I’m particularly impressed with the service, food and beverages offered at the Club Lounge. One area that needs improvement is the food served at Marriott Cafe & Crossroads Cafe. The food is passable, bordering on average, and this is not expected of a luxury Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel. My comparison is based on food served at Cafe 2000 at M Hotel and Food Capital at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel. There is an obvious difference in food taste. This would have been a 5 stars, if not for the food taste. Overall, I have the love for Marriott Tang Plaza and see myself a loyal Club Marriott member in the years to come. Well done!

Went to pool grill restaurant for lunch at Marriott hotel. The ambience was great, it was very quiet and serene. Had a great time there. The staff was also attentive and friendly. Highly recommended if you need a private moment away from the bustling crowd.

We had the dinner buffet at Marriott hotel. The price was alright as there was a one-for-one promotion for members, and my family members felt the spread was not bad. There was a good flow (consistent generous top up) of sashimi and oysters despite it being very popular. However I felt that the spread overall was not that impressive or wide. There was a bit of Indian, Japanese a bit of Italian pasta, roast meats, etc. but it felt kinda piecemeal. (More Chinese stuff, which isn't that 'wow') I personally prefer and have been to other buffets with a wider selection of each cuisine, with more chefs cooking upon request. And I felt that one of the chefs could have been more friendly to guests. She treated us as if she was having a bad day. It's not the best service when guests are even more friendly than servers on duty, no? Overall I did have a good time - there were many responsive and helpful staff! But I don't think it meets a 5-star standard. So just a (still very respectable) 4 stars from me.

Went to attend my cousin's wedding at Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel. The service was amazing. Food was insanely good, the roasted chicken and fish was cooked to perfection. They even managed to replicate shark fin soup without adding shark fin. We are a shark friendly family which makes our meal comfortable for us. We had a 5 course fine dining meal and the waitress/waiters service was top notch. Had a really great wedding experience!

Went to the ball room on the 3rd floor for dinner and dance. There was a bar counter at level 2, which we can get free drinks. But during the dinner service, I pity the poor servers who have to walk all the way from level 3 to 2 just to get a glass of soft drink. Alas, who would order soft drinks at a dinner. People just want to drink hot tea and plain water right. Anyway, the air conditioning is cooling and the toilet is clean. The food, though, is less to be desired. Absolutely edible!

The room is spacious and clean and provides everything you could expect from a 5 star hotel. Althought the rooms are dated but it maintains a certain charm without looking ancient. Location is excellent. Associates are friendly and club lounge offerings are exceptional.

The food at the Marriott Cafe was fantastic. Freshly shucked oysters, fresh sashimi mix of tuna and salmon with other seafood such as crayfish, Boston snow crab legs. But personally the one to die for is the pork and roasted beef with a wide array of sauces and dressings to choose from.

It's in a super convenient location. The metro is below the hotel and the hop on hop off site seeing tour picks up on the corner. There is easy access to food & shopping. I had access to the executive suite so I had free breakfast daily that was very good. There were cocktails and finger foods in the evenings.

Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel is located at at very convenient and easy to access place. Just about 5-10mins walk away from orchard mrt station. The rooms are big and beautiful. Relaxing and comfortable bed for one to sleep easy and peacefully. Service from the staff is excellent as well. Friendly and approachable, they can help you with the best they can.

Attended conference here, it is easily accessible from subway. The place is big and comfortable. Buffet at Marriot Cafe is good, with a wide spread of mouthwatering menu to choose from. The seafood is the highlight of my lunch there, must try the oysters.

The food was amazingly delicious. Lamb shank was stunning. Carbonara, creamy and beautiful. What i liked the most? It would be the crispy duck. The skin was crusty and the meat was moist, dissolving in the mouth. All in all, it was a splendid meal

Attended a recruitment talk on a Friday evening, held at one of the event rooms on the 3rd level. The location of the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from bus stops and the mrt station. There was light refreshments provided. Overall the food and services were satisfactory.

We frequent the Marriott Cafe for their weekend buffets. We love their buffets for the following reasons: 1. 1-for-1 promotions with the various credit cards. Value for money! 2. High quality buffet spread. They focus on quality dishes which are not commonly found in other buffets. I personally love the spicy eggplant with minced beef! 3. Environment was not noisy and empty plates were cleared promptly. Good service from the waitresses! 4. Excellent location with ample parking. We always enjoy ourselves there. In fact, we have made reservations and will be returning in a fortnight for lunch again.

The hotel is in a decent location with shopping located steps outside of the hotel or even beneath the hotel. The subway is literally below the hotel and provides access to all business areas in Singapore. The room I had was clean and provided for a good night's sleep. The ac in the room (like other hotels) shuts off when your key card is removed. You could keep it running with a deactivated card but that defeats the purpose of saving energy. The furniture in the room was clean but looked a little used. The bathroom and shower were adequate and I liked the separate vanity area (perfect for women). The views are nice and can be fully blocked with curtains at night. The TV had a few decent channels with a mix of Mandarin and English. The restaurant at the hotel was a little expensive for the area, but had a nice breakfast buffet with many different options including pastries, juices, omelets, and meats. The pool is very nice as well. The one complaint I have is some of the flooring in the hallways is stained and needs to be cleaned or replaced.

Nice rooms, high floors have a good view. Very clean and staff are courteous. Nice drinks on the executive floor aren't weak pours, as some free flow services can be.

The Chinese restaurant on the third floor serves really delicious dim sum. Choices are great and service immaculate. Wonderful people that serves with a smile. Enjoyed my brunch through and through. They've got platinum amex card discounts and Citibank discount. Try it!!!

Had drinks at the lobby with friends, staff was very polite. Seats and sofa were comfortable. Some renovation going on near the toilet so it looked a little messy. After midnight, classical music was played, soothing.

They tried to make it kids friendly but it's not. We stayed in the executive suite ,since the kids was there we didn't get the full benefits. They still came through with free bfast buffet on the first floor.

Iconic hotel. Location is great but service can be further improved. The breakfast spread for halal section is the same for 2 days in a row. Wifi is also not free unless you have membership. Lastly no bathtub in the deluxe room

Buffet at the Marriott cafe very good. High quality food with fresh seafood. Has lobster, crayfish and snow crabs. All you can eat.

This hotel is awesome! The staff are great, the rooms are modern and clean, and the showers (in some of the rooms) are huge! The only weird thing is that they really don't like it if you keep the "Do Not Disturb" light on for more than a day or so. They will leave notes, stop by, and call you to ensure you don't need anything. Other than that, this is a great place to stay.

A Marriott Tang Plaza hotel is the 5 star level in the Orchart road. Nearby the several shopping place. But a complementary in guess room are not provide enough comfortable. The entertainmentin room not so satisfy.

Great stay, but after one week the ambient muzak will drive you nuts. Volume is just too loud.
